No,when I wrote of "others" I meant all the various nationalities that at one time or another went to Poland,being a Scot I know we certainly sent a few over ,but,heres the thing,"we" looked pretty much the same and "we" were catholics,that isnt in my eye "multiculturalism "in its modern sense. bollox Poland ever had multi culturalism....It had Poles and it had Jews,and the 2 groups only mixed when they had too.Of course others went to Poland but this was in the days before nationalisim/race conciousness in its modern sense.

Wroclaw,just look on any flea market in Poland and you can find german stuff.....just dont expect not to be despised by the seller when they find your a Brit.

Ive been in Warsaw quite a few times actually old bean,Its rather hard to cross your legs for a fortnight at a time..........Maybe what you ment to ask was are you sure you have been to Warsaw? Thats the one,I have a translation somewhere.......I'm a huge fan of the old Polish music both the Army type ones and traditional/"pop" tunes(like 30'sand40s,not that Cher lookalike :)

I may be wildly wrong here but it seems to have been one step below a national anthem but still an official song(?) between 1917 and 1924 ,and then in '24 passed on as the official song of the 1st brigade and then to all Officers of the Polish army in the second republic.

Thanks,you wouldnt believe how proud I was to have a veteren of the Mokatow district and some former Radoslaw veterens tell me how glad they were that someone in Britain who wasnt even Polish was trying to keep their memory alive and maybe educate a few people along the way.
