History / Poland is a Catholic country [177]

very reasonable that more and more would switch their allegiance from Protestantism to Catholicism or shake off their agnosticism.

lol hardly likely!

Love / Are Polish girls better cooks? [45]

all the Polish women/girls (of alI ages) I have known have been great home cooks - in fact I learnt a lot from them, especially in how to make a perfect chicken soup or a nice sauce to go with meat.

and no, not a recipe book in sight!

the word mulatto is not racist whatsoever in the UK or Ireland

of course it is, don't be silly, where i am from anyway.
perhaps if you are from some distant backward province it is different.

Life / Fr. John Bashobora National stadium Warszawa (Warsaw) [81]

The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from something invisible called your soul that is present in humanity because a woman made from a rib was convinced by a talking snake to eat an apple from a magical tree.

lololol, love it smurf

UK, Ireland / Western Europe is not Paradise after all (Polish doctors in the UK more popular) [75]

sorry 2 month old, what a worry, I know, I just used to use A and E if i was really worried.
but u know this weilki polak, if he had 'bacterial bronchitis' he would be in bed crying not walking into a clinic,
i have no doubt at all that he probably had a bit of a cold and sore throat, what a big baby

the problem is if you let a a viral infection go on completely untreated for too long

Magda, for goodness sake, the guy went to the doctor whining for antibiotics with a COLD?
well antibiotics do NOT cure the cold!! you treat a cold by staying in, taking over the counter remedies.....
some nationalities do seem particularly prone to hypochondria i must say, while it is the Italians that spring to mind initially,
it would appear the Polish are not far behind!
as for your ill 2 year old, that is pure conjecture about what might or might not have happened in England really isnt it?
so not really a reasonable point.

Weilki polak - that is known as the 'placebo effect'

Life / Etiquette in a Store and Market Queues in Poland [146]

that's exactly what rozumiemnic told goofy

yes it is, i have noticed Goofy's attitude about UK a few times now, and honestly it gets on my nerves, he is only about 17 and still in school here and no doubt keen to reap the benefits of a UK education.

i agree magda, nobody should be rude enough to loudly whinge or mock their host country whatever their nationality, sadly i hear it a lot here in UK in public and from people here on

the forum who have benefited from free education, healthcare and all the rest of it in the UK.
People can think what they like but there is no need to be downright rude.

well what do you expect goofy if you stand around whinging about your host country?
plus no-one would suggest moving to redneckland in any country - east arsefeck or wherever you had the misfortune to be moved to is not representative of 'nearly every Brit', thank you.

UK, Ireland / Study about Polish immigrants in England [29]

maybe so meathead, until they turn into lumpy old matrons in sensible tweed skirts on bicycles doing their shopping to the sound of piped music in some hickville called monster or cheese or something.....
