Jako brytyjski lubię Polski Skleps. To miło mieć zmiany i różnorodność. Co jest potrzebne, to miejsca do których odtwarzanie muzyki jak pop, rap itp w języku polskim, pije polską wódkę i inne napoje i wschodniej Europy, gdzie Brytyjczycy i innych klubowiczów UE mogą mieszać i stroną.

Google translator sux, it makes mistakes that make it hardly understandable, did you really think you can impress someone with it? lol

Language / Diminutive "Masha"/"Macha" (masculine) [8]

I don't know of any Russian male name that would have such a diminutive.

she would have have gone to Russian forums if it was about Russian name

In case of "Polish" names Machabeusz has such a diminutive form (Masha=Masza), apparently:

for sure it's not about that name, nobody is named like that even if the name exists in the calendar :-)

Language / Polish word "no". Is it a slang word? [22]

Anyway I have to wonder if this is part if the reason for the "you know how stupid" polish jokes.

The reason of the Polish jokes are the Germans who immigrated to USA after second world war mr. misinformed :-)

I know that you think you are adorable and I have to tell you the truth... you are not.

Off-Topic / Is 'Russkie' offensive in English? [23]

Ok so explain me why should I go mad just because someone called me a Polack?

When did I say that you should go mad? You should not accept it In a same way like blacks don't accept ppl calling them ******* etc...

Polish people are way too much sensitive from what I observe.

I observe the same but I'm sorry to disappoint you that I'm not one of them.

Man, just take it easy, for example I have a friend that used to be obese back in the past.

This example has nothing to do with racial insulting.

You get what I mean?

You dont get what I mean.

Would you go to the the black and call him ******? Answer me this simple question because you seem to avoid

Off-Topic / Is 'Russkie' offensive in English? [23]

Maybe you have absolutely no idea what are you talking about?

Go to black person and call him "nigger" and call pakistani "paki" and when they sue you, tell judge in the court that they are some "jerks that take such things too seriously" :D

Life / Why are Polish so obsessed with Russia [46]

This is modern Polish alphabet

What are you talking about son? Polish has always been written in Latin alphabet

Poles use two caracters - "ja", "ju","sz",
while Ukrainians only one "я", "ю", "ш".So which alphabet takes it longer to write?

LOL maybe English should use Cyrillic alphabet too? instead of "you" and "sh" they would have "ю", "ш" and so on...

British women are very independent

I am Polish man living in England for 9 years and having a little baby boy with an English woman and nor my girl friend nor other English women I have around are any specifically independent comparing to Polish women.

Genealogy / Do you think all Slavs are white? [178]

It's a common opinion in the USA

Please... even finding Europe on the map is not a common ability in USA...

If I asked Americans on the street - what do you think about Slavs? 9 out of 10 would say - I am not following baseball at the moment xD

Language / Polish/Ukrainian words similarities [209]

1. Genetically, Poles and especially south Russians are very close, almost identical.

south, north, east and west Poles?

Linguistically, Polish and Russian languages are very close. If you wrote Russian in Polish alphabet, most Poles would understand it easily (say 80% of it)

I've seen Russian written with Polish alphabet, didn't understand even 50% of it.
