Food / A recipe for hootch? Bimber taste in Poland. [42]

If I want to destroy my insides, I can buy 96% alcohol in Poland from the supermarket.

I agree to that but you can't buy MOONSHINE in the supermarket and that is what is being discussed here and what the thread is about.

You and Harry want to challenge my statements by splitting hairs by going off topic.
Again delph, I highly doubt that you ever tried MOONSHINE since you claim to have done shots of it straight down.

The strongest that you can make.

Let me emphasize the word "You" and "moonshine" Harry.

from experience

No wonder you have such a raspy voice. (Has anybody besides me heard delph's voice ?)
delph I would bet even money that you have NEVER had real moonshine go over your lips as talk is cheap.

Correct Atch.........90% is PURE grain alcohol.
The strongest that you can make.
You have to distill it at least twice or more to make it that pure.
When you make it that strong it has to be cut almost in half before you can enjoy it.
You try to throw back a shot of 90% straight and IT WILL burn the lining out of your throat.
Take it from a Texas redneck that learned this first hand on a bet.
I couldn't talk for about a week.
That's why when these kids talking about "Drinking it" I have to laugh.
No, you sip it if you are doing it straight up and that is the 70% stuff.
Like I said before though, you don't get a bad hangover from it drinking it straight as it is so pure.

Off-Topic / WB's body building and general fitness thread [97]

I was basically just eating boiled eggs and boiled veg

Very good and throw a piece of baked wild caught salmon in there occasionally too. (Omega 3)
Canned vegetables are packed with salt like most canned foods.
Never eat a farm raised fish as they are horrible for you.
Wild caught fish only and not shark as they are full of mercury along with some other ocean fish.

I'd be surprised if that has a higher than 15% protein value

Plus cottage cheese has a very high salt content.
Most yogurts are packed with sugar too so be are full which ones you pick.
Looks like you are doing excellent on your own however.

You have to be VERY CAREFUL of where you get it.
If someone uses a tainted still or doesn't know exactly what they are doing the stuff can be poison and kill you.
Many people have died from the rot gut.

Of course there are many different kinds of moonshine you can easily make.
Vodka, rum, whiskey and even flavor them of to your liking.....cherry, peach, pear.....

Or maybe the dude had already imbibed so much he was talking rot

Or maybe he saw an under aged drinker and wondered what you would want real moonshine for.
I thought 18-21 year olds were only allowed to drink 3:2 beer in Poland.

Unless you go by the "official" definiton of moonshine, of course.

I must talk to softly so I will repeat myself.

Exactly Roger

Sorry if I mumbled that.
Nice that you agree with us however.

Moonshine is generally between 80 - 90% alcohol.
When you start getting up to 160 to 180 proof it is possible to fill your cigarette lighter with it.
Where I live I think you are allowed to make two gallons in home.
Last batch I made was peach flavored and as smooth as a school moms leg.
You don't get much of a hangover with it either as it is so pure.
With a poor country like Poland I can't believe village people don't make their own vodka......or do they ?

Life / Going to Poland in a hijab - Polish people and Islam [154]

Give me biblical proves.

Proves ? Read Mathew Chapter 5, 6 and 7. All your proves are there and none are my opinion.
They are all the inspired words of Jesus, not mine.
Jesus is not speaking against observing all the requirements of the law, He is speaking against hypocritical Pharisaical legalism.
Such legalism was not the keeping of all the details of the law but the hollow sham of keeping laws externally to gain merit with God while breaking them inwardly.

It was following the letter of the law while ignoring it's spirit.
Jesus rejected the Pharisees interpretation of the law and their view of righteousness by works.
He preaches righteousness that comes only through faith in him and his work.
Read Ephesians 2:8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so no one can boast."

That is why I just shake my head and bite my tongue when some unsaved soul thinks they have their fire insurance because they donated money to the poor, gave a bushel of potato's out of their garden to their poor neighbor, put twenty squid in the offering plate on Sunday, help his neighbor paint his house, does good works daily, is a very nice well mannered person, etc. is all it takes to get to heaven.

I hope that helps you with your question 1010 to "what kind of fulfillment of the law ?"
If not, PM me because the unsaved on this site are blinded and think this is nothing but silliness and love to mock and argue scripture.

The law for christians are those from the New Testament.

Matthew 5:17-18 "Think not that I am come to destroy the law

Matthew is in the New Testament, is it not ?
Matthew 5:17 speaks of the law which is the first five books of the Jewish scripture in the old testament.
Jesus fulfilled the law in the sense that He gave it full meaning.
He emphasized its underlying principles and total commitment to it rather than mere external acknowledgment and obedience to it.

Travel / Behavior of Polish travellers on Planes. [72]

or do not follow the all mighty LAW or abide by the golden RULES but sometimes you just need to relax a bit with your issues.

No son, they are YOUR issues as you are annoying me, I am not annoying you by sitting minding my own business quietly in a small shared space with lots of people like on an airplane no matter what nationality you are. Common Courtesy !

So you think we get to pick and choose what almighty LAWS & Rules we have to abide by ? Really ?
LAWS & RULES are not a suggestion especially when ignored could put other peoples lives at risk.
And NO, I should not have to relax a bit when some loudmouth drunk violates my space.
Take your cheer someplace else where I am not forced to be a captive audience against my will like on an airplane.
You are young and just haven't figured it out yet.

I would be the first to accept bad behavior on airplanes is not exclusivity of Poles.

I concur as this was in this mornings news.
Looks like the Brits took first place this week.

A pilot was forced to land his plane in Berlin after a British stag party caused problems on board.
Newspaper reports in Germany said the Ryanair flight from London to Bratislava in Slovakia was forced to land in the German capital to eject the bachelor party .

Six members of the group were said to have become unruly during the flight, forcing the pilot to make an unscheduled stop in Berlin and remove the passengers concerned from the flight.

German newspaper Bild said the men became aggressive when they were refused alcohol.
Local police said the drunken Britons, aged 25 to 28 and from Southampton, were met by officers upon landing at Schoenefeld airport.
They now each face fines of up to 25,000 euros (£19,700) and civil claims from the airline.

Ouch ! Little bit pricey to act like an idiot.

Travel / Behavior of Polish travellers on Planes. [72]

My guess is that poganin has never flown.

I bet you even money poganin has never flown.

Seat allocation is biggest idiotism ever, big deal where one sits, it is not a problem big enough to make a fuss.

If he knew anything about flying he would know that if you want to sleep you request to sit in a window seat, if you have an enlarged prostate you request to sit in an isle seat so you don't have to crawl over people six times to use the head.

Kids don't think about how OTHER people may have a methods to their madness.

If you sit by the window or not will it kill you? No.

Unless you wanted to take a nap because you had been up since 3 a.m. to catch your connector flights and then had a four hour drive when you got off the third flight you had been on that day.

Don't bother answering, you're just trolling anyway.

My guess just a typical teenager that hasn't grown up yet or ever flown.

drunks do not yet constitute idiots or hazardous

I beg to differ with you, self inflicted poisoning of yourself would constitute being an idiot and not having your wits could be very hazardous to yourself and the people around you.

Have you ever heard of a thing called "Common Courtesy" son ?

That type of behaviour may well be considered hazardous on an aircraft.

That is why there are laws to prevent such irresponsible behavior.

No drunk Polish ever brought an airplane down, so calm down with your so called safety thing

So you admit the said safety laws preventing drunks from being nuisances and hazards are working.
Any flight that originated in or coming into the United States would not begin to tolerate obnoxious intoxication.
They would tell you to sit down and shut up and if you refused you would get hit with a stun gun and wake up twitching in a puddle of your pee with your ankles and wrists duck taped together.

Then upon landing six very large men that do not smile would escort you off the plane by dragging you out the door.

I noticed that an American model was arrested 2 days ago in Austin Texas for being drunk and fighting with the flight crew on a plane.

Exactly Chem and most likely charged with drunk and disorderly, intoxication in a public place, assault and battery, resisting and obstructing and put on a NO FLY LIST for the rest of her life after serving six months in jail.

WoW it was so worth getting drunk on a plane and being an ass wasn't it poganin.
With laws like that it just makes you want to get drunk, loud, obnoxious, sing, spit in others faces while you try to talk, and show no respect, courtesy or manners for other people around you with nowhere for them to escape doesn't it.

Your kind of low life immature "FUN" shouldn't have to be forcefully tolerated by anyone especially on an airplane.

Travel / Behavior of Polish travellers on Planes. [72]

the type of person you find on these planes are mostly ill mannered, low educated blue collared immigrant workers which lack any form of social etiquette

Right on, the working people that know how to enjoy life and not walk around like they have a board stuck up their backside with their nose in the air.

Sounds like you want us to think you should be flying on your own private jet with your starched white shirt friends.
Accept the fact that when you get on any plane that you now are a captive audience to things out of your righteous protective comfort zone.

Welcome to the real world T1 as all those "ill mannered hordes" don't worry about appeasing stiff lipped fingers pointing down people with nothing more to give thought to as being offended by someone not toeing the line.

If you are as uppity as you want us to think you are then why aren't you flying first class to avoid the "ill mannered hordes" that you despise so mush ????

I'll bet you have never farted as loud as you can have you ?
Have some fun in life old boy and quit being so stuffy.

News / USA is indirectly causing instability in Poland [26]

Angela Merkel's decisions are dictated by American actions and consequent wishes to accept refuges,

America's actions are holding Obama's feet to the fire on immigration.
President Obama's use of executive power is facing another major test at the Supreme Court, this time on the contentious issue of immigration.
Programs he launched through executive action last year to shield as many as 5 million immigrants from deportations have been on hold since a federal judge ruled that Texas and 25 other states have a legitimate basis to challenge the programs.

So if Merkel's decisions are dictated by America's actions, Poland will no longer be forced to accept immigration on the EU terms.

Notice how yet again, the PiS supporters react with rudeness and contempt

Can you blame them ?

Lying again, Polonius

How about your lie of saying no native Poles have posted in this thread ?

A better question might be to ask if there are any native Poles living in Poland that posted on here. So far, nope.

Guess we shouldn't point fingers should we delph.
The only opposition to PiS in this thread is the ex pats as far as I have read.

News / Referendum in Poland about so called refugees. [56]

It has been said many times before here but I will repeat it again.

IF Poland was forced to take Refugee FAMILIES in fear of their lives because they were Christian......Welcome.
If they were single men of fighting age (high risk), sorry go back and pick up a gun and fight for your liberation.
If you are from Africa and an economic refugee and just looking for a better life, sorry we have our own to take care of first.

If they were told Poland is a Christian country and that they will have to respect it as that.
If you don't want to work or learn the Polish language, sorry we don't want burdens (dead weight) to our country.
Understand if a Polish woman approaches you with an uncovered face it doesn't mean she wants to bang you.
If you have an arrest record or fake documents, we don't want you.

So there are so many variables to welcoming people with such a strange culture as your new neighbors that it isn't just a yes or no vote.

I am sure it would be a yes IF common sense criteria was met first.
That's my opinion and thank you for letting me post it.

We choose to stay and fight for our country.

You have no idea what it is to fight and sacrifice for a country.

We don't have compulsory military service here.

You can thank the American soldiers for that. (NATO)

Not sure I get what you want to bet here...

Ten year old kids might believe that.

And how can it be proven?

How can 'what' be proven if you are not sure what I want to bet ? lol
Wouldn't it be a lot easier to man up and just say that you misspoke again instead of trying to lie your way out of it ?

Nope. We choose to stay and fight for our country.

The only people that I have seen posting in support of Demonstrations in Poland in defence of democracy are ex pats from other countries.
Maybe if the elected party is so upsetting to these ex pats they should go back to their home countries where they weren't happy either.

Life / Is Poland a poor country? [578]

there are some places where you can really see how poorly people live.

Come to America and visit any major city and you will see people living on the streets, eating from garbage dumpsters, sleeping on the ground, smelling worse than a wet dog, sick with scabs and coughing without a pence to their name.

Tell me about it delph.
I bet you can see the same thing in London now can't you.
That is what I call poverty, people without a bed to sleep in or a roof over their head, not someone that can't afford a t.v. or computer.

Life / Is Poland a poor country? [578]

It's clear from the statistics that Poland in fact has more people living in poverty than any Western EU member.

What statistics, yours or mine.
No, not true at all delph.
Your chart shows that there is not any poverty in the United States or the UK.
How can that be when we all know those countries have lots of people living below the poverty line.
In fact my "guess" is that about 1 in 3 people in America are living below the average income in their States.
Your chart was the first one you came to on google which could fool ten year olds.
Take a look at these statistics that disagrees with your chart.

We don't want muslims here and by naming and shaming our country Elites from EU try to show the world that (falsly) our insights are wrong and we need to obey commands of European leftiests to become advanced.

No doubt the Muslims have cost every non Muslim country in the world a huge financial burden not to mention they can't take a hint that nobody wants them.

Poland does not want their "Progressive cultural enrichment" the EU Libatards insist on jamming down Poland's throats to ruin their country like the rest of the EU has been.

Poland doesn't want to become any poorer then it already is by letting the EU failures be forced upon them to slow Poland's advancements.

No wonder Poland has less people living in poverty then the countries that are trying to force such an ill burden on Poland.

Life / Is Poland a poor country? [578]

- as I said before, it's an upper middle income country.

This surprised me jon however you are correct.
After reading the beginning of this thread it seems Poland is considered a poor country with many people living below the poverty level.
The percentage of people living in Poland below the poverty level is less then the percentage of people living below the poverty level say in the U.S.A. or the U.K. which surprised me.

That being true then why has Poland been stigmatized as being a poor country ?

Life / Africans in Poland and diversity [60]

I'm not a troll. Why u think that?

I don't, your posts have convinced me that you are a Black man.

We have to make the gene pool more diverse!

Why is this such a fantasy for uneducated Black men ?
Are Black woman really that undesirable to Black men or have Black single mothers caught on that 80% of
Black daddies are not married and once they become sperm donors they no longer want the responsibility that they have created ?
And your new job in Poland to support your fantasy is what ?
I wonder why Polish men have no desire to go to Africa with a goal to breed as many Negro women as they can in the name of diversity.

Must have something to do with morals and education.

Maybe we can meet and start some pro-minority protest?

Maybe I should go to Kenya and start a pro-white protest to see what my life expectancy would be.

I have seen you post here before with the same nonsense as a troll which got deleted by the mods just as this thread should be.

The plans for taxation so far all hurt the poorest in society the most.

The poorest in society receive welfare from the government.
Remember however that the government can't give something to someone that they haven't taken from someone first.

Unfortunately, education spending isn't a priority for this government.

Moderators: why so much xenophobia, racism and more generally hatred in PF's messages?

Because the Progressive Liberals use those words out of context.
Take racist for example.........Undocumented is not a race, it's a criminal so don't call me a racist because I have a problem with 800,000 criminals at large in Europe.

The Lefties use those words without proper meaning to paint a picture of hate to the truth.

The problem is that the money isn't getting taken to help the poor.

Taken from who delph ?

People do attend with children

Parents on Saturday usually do something with their children after they have worked a 40 hour week that the children enjoy like taking them fishing or building a snowman.

Only a self centered parent would be so abusive as to drag a child to a boring silly demonstration to get some fresh air.
Supporting your government is what children should be taught, as John F. Kennedy once stated: "Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country."

so things should grow and grow now.

The key word here is "should".
Never should on yourself !
These demonstrations are allowed for the mere purpose to let the losers let off some steam and nothing more.
Eventually they will run out of steam.
If you had a 40 hour a week job and three kids to support you wouldn't have time for such nonsense.
