No. A trick question is "did you quit beating your wife?" That's a trick question.
A question that expects an answer that is damning to the respondent is not a trick question. It's the kind that wins arguments or court trial.
My question is calling for a verifiable fact. Either there was a period when the climate was hotter than now or not. Zero wiggle room and zero ambiguity, which is what most people hate because they are unable to respond to it and be happy with their response.
But, the global warmers being what they are, which is the globalists is search for a better way to extract tax money and to seize total control over what we do, will never answer that question not because they don't know the answer but because they know that the truthful one throws a big monkey wrench into their dire doomsday lies.

If I unplug my fridge, the ice will melt, too. Locally. In my fridge. That does not mean that Earth will got hotter. It's the totality of heat, the core and the oceans included, that counts. Icebergs are local.
If any of what the global warmers claimed were true, how come (1) they had to lie, and (2) none of their predictions happened. It's always "we will all die x years from now". And Miami will be under water, notwithstanding the fact that the beautiful people are buying ocean-front properties.
With all that data, they can't even predict the past. Funny, isn't it?

Global warming crazies have one problem: the oceans are not rising. I know because I called the guys managing the ports in Miami and LA.
They would know this stuff better than all the climate scientists on Earth put together. They have that stick in the water that shows where the water surface is. In inches. Even Russia can't interfere with the process. It is actually so simple you don't need to be a Ph.D to do it.

The best way to test anything is by bringing it to absurdity. Should church fund nuns' abortions? Should Church hire unmarried prostitutes with kids? Where do you draw the line?
That's an easy question to answer: where it violates the underlying purpose and the principles. The modern Catholic church that tolerates the abortion advocates in Congress is the best example how to destroy an institution like that. That is why the intolerant Islam is thriving and expanding where we would never expect it - in the Western Christian democracies.
Most people like the rules they can follow. They prefer hard walls and detest wishy washy crap. That is why women will take a macho abuser over a hand-wringing and confused weasel.
Kids that sense absence of rules, parental supervision and hard limits go bad.

There are atheists and there are atheists. I am the better of the two because I regret being one. It's the same process as being told that there is no Santa. Life is not getting better from having this information.
I also recognize the need to believe in higher power and the higher purpose, which, btw, gays lack. I also understand why so many people find the concept of afterlife, Heaven and Hell uplifting - especially as they face their last days.
The dumbest and the stupidest atheists are those who start and end all debates on the subject with "it's a lie".
BTW, as an atheist of the enlightened variety, I made sure my kids were brought up religious and participated in all the rituals they chose to - including kneeling and standing. No, I did not opt to get the communion.

It has plenty. Telling a child that if he swears daddy will be upset is bull***** because daddy swears all day long. And every other day, hits mommy. So, the only thing you can tell the little bastard is that God is watching and will record every incident for further review when said bastard shows up at the gates. That is why we have the concept of sin, since explaining the concept of civil and criminal responsibility is too complicated even for some adults. And not every deed can be prosecuted or sued for. Others are simply immoral or stupid.

Not believing in God in no way negates the benefits of teaching kids morality. That is what religion in schools was all about. Now, that it's gone and nothing is offered in its place, kids go stupid and all they do is try to be influencers on "social media", and do anything for attention. Soft form of prostitution and pornography included.

The big mystery of Polish economy is how Poles, making so much less than we make here, can afford the almost American prices. I really don't get it.
