Now that that's out of the way, the vast majority of English speakers are going to be younger Poles, then to a lesser extent young Ukrainians, then the Indians who work in IT or corporate jobs, followed by Western EU/UK expats who's own nations have been destroyed by multiculturalism and want to raise a family in a place where they don't have to worry about paki rape squads, regular stabbings and be in a wholesome environment. I don't know what the exact figure of English Brits living in Wroclaw is as that's actually where I'm originally from but I'd estimate it to a few hundred.

Also, one recent estimate stated that 1/3 of Polish urban youth speaks English. Most the English speakers you run into in Poland will be local students/youth, Polonia from UK, US, etc. that returned etc. There isn't a large English community by any means in Warsaw. IDK I don't work on the tech side. Some languages are easier than others, but spending a few months all day to learn a basic language doesn't seem unreasonable. She likely only knows one language though. I know community colleges provide courses for people who want to learn to code, program, develop, etc. Now it seems certification for tech positions is more important than any 4 year degree.


It isn't. Vast majority of journos and writers are paid very little. Recently there's been a mass firing of journos at BuzzFeed. Because one of my friends in poland took the course and now works there. Everyone who successfully completed the course passes. Also I'm talking about 10k zl a month, not USD.

IDK about graphic designers. There is an over abundance of them at the moment and they don't make very much especially compared to developers, coders, etc. Even in the us when employed full time they only make 20 an hour and the freelance ones are constantly under bidding each other just to get work.

Yes, there's a company in wroclaw that does I believe a 6 month intensive programming and coding course and upon successful completion they'll offer you a 10k z a month job.

Of course there are. But all those people are polish save for maybe the kashubs and silesians who are more German. The new deal principles don't work in a society where over a third of able bodied people don't participate in the labor force on top of all the tens of millions of low iq people at low wage jobs that are subsided by the government since their income is too low to pay taxes. During fdrs time there were 40+ people working for every 1 retiree, now there's less than 4 to 1. After taking out the McDonald's workers, landscapers, etc and others who don't pay taxes and only people making a good income and thereby paying a lot in taxes I'd be surprised if we're at even 2 to 1, 1 to 1
