Life / Would Poles prefer US or UK medical care? [112]
From experience I agree, when you are paying there is no judgemental tut tut its your lifestyle bullshit, I am a valued customer and it has to be yes sir Dolno.
In Poland and the UK you have to creep around these judgemental people, Doctors who think they are god and you are the pleb.
They should understand like in America they are only the paid help, no different to employing a chef for your Christmas party.
America has by far the best medical care in the world

There are no longer many Jews in Poland, people in Poland aren't even interested unless a row like this kicks off, kids in Poland have to be taught about Jews because there aren't any to mix with.
In the six years I have been here my friends have only mentioned Israel or Jews maybe three four times, but only after some political spat occurs.
Fact is from what I see is that nobody is bothered about Jews/Israel in Poland , they mainly talk about migrants and Ukrainians.
Only a fool or trouble maker could say "Poles "suckled anti-Semitism with their mother's milk." to be honest I am changing my mind about Judaism and Israel , but maybe this is their plan to turn Poles against therm by causing trouble then screaming antisemitism when we kick back.
I am going off Jews and Israel at a rapid pace now, I would have been their greatest allie in the past.
Wonder how many other people they are turning against themselves.

Well I did get taught , by my parents who lived alongside Jews, some of who'm later helped put them onto cattle trucks to siberia.

No need, I am with you, Sadly Polish kids today have no reference point to the way things were in the II republic when Jews and Poles lived side by side, I have many positive stories from my parents about their Jewish neighbours, I am pleased to see that there is education today about how things once were.

That's why I will never involve myself in obtaining reparations for my families losses, which were significant, leave the kids of today to live in peace and prosperity, let them build friendships without the shackles of the past.

I am afraid that history still has a hold on today, reparations are being called for, accusations fly on all sides, Pawian , I can only wish that this past could be settled and we could all move on without all the recriminations the past flying around today.

Bang on , Jews sided with the Bolsheviks against pilsudski, 500,000 were part of the soviet war machine that invaded Poland, 11 out of 12 camps in Siberia were run by Jews, Jews sided with the Soviets in the east of Poland to deport us to Siberia.
But crimes were committed by individuals on all sides, what I am not happy about is Jewish conspiracy to blame the Polish government for Polish individual acts , similar crimes Jewish individuals were committing themselves see above.

That has nothing to do with it, she brought you into this world and if you don't thank her for it maybe your wife and kids would, the payments are not a great deal, money wise, you can at least feel good about it even if she is estranged from you.
When you are older and wiser and it's too late, that might come back to haunt you, take it from me (a kid) who has been around a very long time.

Well to be honest Atch I only mentioned women so not to appear sexist but in reflection It's the blokes who have the real problems, maybe they feel emasculate having to rely on their female partner to deal money with day to day bureaucracy and Problems.

Yep but she doesn't act superior or wish to change things in Poland, the difference is that she is a self made woman with her own resources, she also has a very extensive experience of other countries and cultures, she has learned how to integrate and accept differences, without the need to rant and project her British culture and values upon others.

Funny as it may seem and being British / Polish myself, I am amazed at their superior attitude as expat brits when in this country, not just posters on PF but the many I personally know that live here , I am gobsmacked because usually they are failures without two groszy to rub together, living behind the skirts or trousers of their Polish partners, not kidding fact.

Nope I have lived in a few countries, it is what you make of it , and who cares about neighbours stuff em , just get on with being prosperous and enjoy life.
I don't talk to my closest neighbours (Thick inbread's) , but there again neither do the rest of the village.
I know I can't spell inbreds

No it's not if you dare touch a bloke on the shoulder or god forbid hug him you might get thumped but at a minimum think you are gay for sure.
This was an interesting lesson (amongst many others) , I learned when I came to my small town, but this doesn't apply to the intelligentsia of course I can hug them freestyle.
It's definitely changing, even in smaller towns.
