USA, Canada / Do many Polish people in America hate Americans? [592]

I think Romani people are rare in Ireland, aren't they?

Dublin is plagued with them

Irish travellers

I have respect for the cream crackers. Seriously. Put them anywhere on gods green earth and they will make money.

All them are rich. Proper rich. Most of them are illiterate, but that doesnt stop them.

And they are built to hurt.

I avoid them and normally that suits them, too.

But they are hanging around me like a bad smell. They want my youngest dog. :(

They will eventually stroke him. :(

Food / The Mystery of Polish Sausage - Interesting kiełbasa link [17]

Are kabonos sausages any good? My local butchers has some on special. And how would one cook them? I normally sear sausages on a pan, so they get browned up. Then whack them under the grill on a low heat with the juices from the pan poured over.

Would this work for kabonos are is there a better way?

The term was coined for nations that did not align themselves with either western capitalism nor soviet inspired communism. Nowt to do with infrastructure. The term the " third world" is being slowly replaced with the phrase "Majority World". Just like "minorities" is being replaced with "people that were historically oppressed". Much more PC.

I prefer the term backward, corrupt sh*tholes myself. But thats just me.

If a third world country could invade America;then it wouldn't be a third world country.

Third world nations exist not solely due to race, but mostly due to culture.

Question.

Four planets are found. All are exact replicas of earth.

Europe sends off 1,000,000 .

As does Africa.

1,000,000 mestizos are shipped off.

And China sends off its quota.

Two thrive. Two starve out.

Name them. Honestly now....

How do you feel about Euro-Americans becoming a minority in America by 2050?

Why is it that non-whites keep flocking in record numbers to white dominated areas?

When whites are no longer in control, like in the former Rhodensia, where will the "minorities" flock to then?

Calling them minorities is absurd. They make up 92 per cent of the global population.

News / Kudos to RCC for turning Poland into a laughingstock... again. [38]

(worth pointing out actually - there's a good chance that Halloween went to the US from Scotland - so I feel quite within my rights to celebrate it ;)

Definitely a Gaelic tradition.

Do the Irish still celebrate it?

Yes. Its the third biggest event of the year.

Young kids dress up and go trick or treating. Similar to America.

The older kids light up huge bonfires in urban areas, get smashed drunk and effectively declare war on council workers, fireman and the gardai.

But the food is cool. Barmbrack, colcannon, toasted pumpkin seeds and turkey. So good.

Few bottles of pumpkinhead, sleeping tablets for my dogs and a load of horror movies on netflix. Whats not to love?

the mere idea of screaming brats banging on my door

I thought that this would be one tradition that the priests would fully support.

Law / Acquiring Polish citizenship by naturalisation [40]

there is no thing like "ethnic Pole"

The Polish people, or Poles, are a nation and a West Slavic ethnic group native to Central Europe, inhabiting mostly Poland, other European countries and North America.

which doesn't say anything about how successful many of them are

Some invariably are. Most are not. Although the ones in America are doing a lot better than the ones in Canada.

Which is quite surprising really.

big time. It was pretty bad what happened to them in the past but now they own private Casinos on their land and have all kinds of rights, we don't even have.

It most certainly is not. In North America the native suicide, drug addiction and incarceration rates are through the roof, vastly exceeding the rest of the populations.

If you get a chance, visit the choctaw tribe. They are pretty much on the verge of extinction. The chief is whiter than me.

The kind of guy that says hi to his local Muslim shop keeper and hello to the local curry house chap but then typing racial stuff on anonymous forums.

I am polite to everyone but Il happily share my views with anyone. Even in public.

Not everyone with nationalist views is a violent scumbag. There is a lot more to nationalism than hating foreigners. Educate yourself.

Can you understand where I'm coming from?

America has spent trillions of dollars of dollars on integration projects and programs. Yet "racism" , black on white crime and ethnic strive is still through the roof. You can throw another couple of trillion at it. Multiculturalism does not work.

I come from the land of failed "multiculturalism". A mixed marriage here, is a catholic marrying a prod FFS!!

Anyway. Lets look at the presidential race. The polls have it pretty much tied but I expect Barry to win.

If America is an example of multicultural success, than voting should be pretty much down the middle, for all races.

Except its not.

99.99% of blacks are in Obamas corner.

Bar the Cubans, pretty much all of the Hispanics are for Barry. His the more likely to give their brethren an amnesty.

The only group who are seemingly ignoring race, is whitey. The votes pretty much down the middle. 50 for Barry, 50 for Mitt.

As per usual. Whitey is the only one who plays ball when it comes to multiculturalism and the we are all one people line.

RevokeNice, the U.S. has had multiculturalism since day one and it has worked for us.

America was a nation built by white people for white people. Europeans to be precise.

Your founding fathers said as much.

Times move on.

Indeed. And if we, as native Europeans, continue on our current demographical trajectory, we shall cease to exist by 2100.

Its a simple numbers game. Inward immigration is sky high, the new comers birth rate is sky high, whilst ours is below replacement levels.

Its a simple numbers game. I dont want my people to die out and become a minority in my own land. Maybe you do? Thats cool. Your choice.

That before the west became brainwashed with the multiculti and anti racism, everyone was more or less openly racist.

And they would be again if the brainwashing ceased.

The west is as brainwashed with multiculturalism as the east was with communism.

Some of the best men whom ever lived were "openly racist". Google a historical figure you admire and add the words "racist quotes".

It will be an eye opener. Even Che and Gandhi were "racists".

UK, Ireland / Dying Polish woman in the uK whose last wish is to spend last few weeks back in Poland [50]

I agree with RN, it's a fecking disgrace that Polish gov did nothing for here. It would be good to check If family/friends requested any help from Polish authorities, If they did and refused, it's a disgrace X 10 000.

I am a Polish citizen living in Ireland and i just can’t believe how indifferent is Polish embassy in this case. I hope that something like that will not happen to me or any other Polish people living in Ireland because the only support we can count on is from all good people like you, regardless nationality. I think that everyone who feel that is a shame that Polish Embassy did nothing to help that girl and her family should sent an e-mail and tell them what feel about that, it will cost you nothing. I can only speak for the British one, but it's well known that they won't get involved in such cases as you're expected to take this sort of thing into account.

Ever watch Banged Up Abroad ? Some British embassies seem to do more for British citizens than others. Some reps/ambassadors will do their best to help, others are only too happy to kick back, do the square root of fooooook all and collect a nice cheque each month. Par for the course in the civil service.

Food / Any królik (rabbit) fanciers on PF? [76]

Rabbit stew served with crusty bread. So good.

There are abundances of them in my local park, but I wouldnt have the heart to hunt them. Too cute.

Anybody fancy rabbit? If so, how do you like it prepared? Rabbit meat is nutritious, mild-flavoured, tasty, very lean (no cholesterol!) and highly digestible. But one sees fewer rabbit hutches in Poland than one once did.

Love eating them.

Revoke, if her husband works legally in Ireland, the family is entitled to free healthcare under the EU law. So yes, government paid for treatments, but the guy paid taxes, so he is entitled to get medical care his wife needs. I don't know why they didn't ask for government flight, mayby just didn't think about it?

Dude, if my government flew her home in their government jet and gave her 100,000 euro to enjoy the rest of her life I wouldnt complain.

I wish this chick nothing but the best, but sometimes that doesnt flow across the interwebz.

I salute her fam and everyone whom donated the few euro but am just wondering if it could be spent better. Is all.

I don't think embassies cover anybody's medical bills abroad.

Ours do. Within reason.

"So far the campaign page has raised €19,089" - so this amount was probably collected before the publication in the Irish media.

Its at 33,000 euro plus now. And the journal is a puff piece online paper. Great for candid articles, pretty useless for everything else.

The story was in the Irish Times 24 hours before the journal.ie picked it up.

The girl had medical insurance in Ireland

VHI? Maybe, I dont know.

All legal residents are entitled to practically free healthcare in public hospitals. The hospital she was in is not a private hospital. So I doubt she had VHI.

Actually, we have no governmental jet. The last one crashed near Smoleńsk. She can't go by ambulance and medical flights are very expensive.

Iam well aware of the Smoleńsk tragedy. I was talking about our jet. I am surprised her friend did not contact the Minister for Foreign Affairs to try and arrange a cheaper mode of transport. Gilmore is a decent skin and I have no doubt that he would have made it available to her and fam.

I understand she needs her medical equipment to be on board with her at all times, so normal air travel is out of the question. But charging 20 odd large to fly here home seems rather excessive.

A very sad tale and I hope she gets to enjoy her final moments with her fam and in her homeland.
