I have new PolAm neighbors from California. They seem like a really nice family, his grandparents emigrated from Warsaw to Chicago after the war. Ive gone with friends/family to the Polish Consulate several times in Chicago. Ive noticed they arent very friendly at all to the people trying to re-new their passports.

They have nothing to immigration and wont answer any legal questions. All they will ask you is, are your here Illegally? And thats about it.

Then in a few weeks they will call you back to the consulate to pick it up.
