Life / Do Polish People steal a lot? [330]

Excuse me, by Poles?!

I would think so....who else was around...?

Jewish family gets dragged away in the early hours by the einsgruppen leaving a nice house full of nice things...Did the Poles next door secure the house and await the return of the family...? I think not , the contents would have been in some Polish house before the German truck had left the street...

As for the house...i imagine there was a few fights over that before some Polish family moved in...

One of the reasons Jews are so unwelcome in Poland now is that there are many Poles hoping to inherit a house from their elderly relatives...that they ain,t gonna get if the decendants of the rightfull owners show up...!

History / POLISH MEMORIES OF CHERNOBYL...April 26th 1986 [32]

Radiation does not affect your IQ...and in any case 80% of the radiation fell on Belarus not Ukraine...

During my stay in Kiev i am sad to say the only idiots i met were a bunch of English people...!

200% of Ukrainians have low IQ due to Chernobyl incident

200% ..wow , thats quite a lot of them then...??

I know quite a bit about the effects of radiation on humans , but i never heard of it affecting your IQ....????

I am also not quite sure the Gypsy blood makes them stupid...My Russian girlfriend is half gypsy , and is one of the most highly qualified teachers of Russian language and culture in Moscow....

you know that if the brach of a tree lean over the fence, they can pick from tree everything which is from their side?

Yes i know...but all these trees are well inside my land...they have to walk a few hundred metres over my land to get to them...

My neighbour stole a few apples from my tree once....i told her i did not mind too much as i had five trees full of them....

A few days later i found her and her family stripping my trees bare in order to sell the apples at the market.....

It was good practice for all the rude words i had learnt in Polish...!

Love / Need Advice: I have fallen in love with a Polish woman... [65]

Follow your heart Trevness; you're the only one who can take responsibility for your life and the decisions you make.

Good advice....In a ideal world we would all be virgins when we marry..and remain with our faithfull partners all our lives....

But its not an ideal world , people make mistakes , people change....you have to grab at whatever makes you happy , and the church and the moral judges have no right to condem a relationship that is making the people involved happy....

Follow your heart....give it your best....good luck...

Bloody silly moo...!

Polish people lived through the war years , then had to deal with Russian occupation , and it became normal to lie , cheat and steal in order to survive....Some people were much better at it than others....

The people who went through these times passed on their ways to the next generation , and for some this less honest way of life became normal....

These days you often have people who are quite well off , living in areas where they are surounded by poor people...In such cases there is always going to be the temptation to take from somebody who it appears can afford to replace the stolen items...

I myself have had a load of stuff stolen by village youngsters who no doubt think i am a rich Englishman...The fact that the Police are a bit useless is not much of a detterent...!

Are all Poles thieves...no of course not , i have some great Polish friends that i can trust completly and despite the fact i lost a few items from my farm i feel my stuff is more safe here than it would be back in the UK.....

I think possibly petty theft is more common in Poland , but real crime is pretty rare , at least around the country areas where i live , and on the whole i fear crime a lot less than i did in the UK....

Love / POLISH WOMEN THE MOST SEXUALLY ACTIVE IN EUROPE...! [54]

Polish women more sexually active than European neighbours

22.07.2010 12:14 FROM THE NEWS.PL

Women in Poland constitute some of the most sexually active female Europeans, shows the Pan European FC Study conducted across 18 countries.

The survey shows that almost a half of Polish women (43 percent) have sex more often than once a week, which is more than in the Czech Republic (37 percent) or Greece. Only Russian women admit having sex more often than Poles – half of them have sexual intercourse several times a week.

So thats good news for the guys who are living in Polska....and for me , who is moving to Russia...!

History / POLISH MEMORIES OF CHERNOBYL...April 26th 1986 [32]

I'm currently reading Life Exposed-Biological Citizens after Chernobyl. It's a disturbing, heart breaking read

I spent some time with families in Belarus affected by this disaster....My friend Natasha has one son who died soon after the disaster , he was a helicopter pilot who flew close over the reactor to dump sand on it...Another younger son is dying from cancer....

Natasha runs a charity to help families affected by the accident , and it was bringing a convoy of aid that first brought me to eastern Europe , and began my love affair with Poland....

I have been into the dead zone , the area deemed unfit for humans to live there , and i went to Chernobyl itself , this was in the days when it was forbidden to go there , now i believe you can go on organised tours of the place... Its a deeply haunting place , and very sad....for some reason i keep being drawn back to the place....

Life / Who's Leaving Poland? [138]

Who's leaving Poland? Who of all the foreign posters on this site, currently living in Poland,
is planning to leave the country, because of "its inadequacies"?.......

Well you heard it here first folks.....Wildrover is leaving Poland , but its not because of anything wrong with Poland...just simply that i made the decision to move to Russia to make my home so my lady can be close to her daughter and friends....

i will be back to visit though...!
