Ticket machines talk to you :) in Polish, German and English. You can pay cash, debit card or credit card.
There are also ticket machines on some of the new buses, these only accept coins I think.
And in theory you can buy tickets from the driver, but they very often refuse to sell you them, require the exact amount in cash if they do it. I never ever see people buying on the bus/tram tickets anyway.

Yep it is integrated. You can use all modes of public transport (including KM, SKM, WKD) within the ticket zone 1 or 2 (depending what you paid for).

Dewelopers are building on places where they know it will get flooded again. Good example near Warsaw is £omianki Dolne (names tells for itself). With the last flood they just scraped by, but for how long. But the administration is for me equally guilty, they should never allow to have housing estates built on places like that.
