Life / Is Lady Gaga popular in Poland? [47]

Both Lady Gaga and Doda are not my kind of music. Madonna has a few songs I appreciate. Give me Diana Krall and Norah Jones anytime. But hey, you can always tune to something else, right?

Only a namiotist fascist could start such a thread.

Life / Who is poor in Poland? [720]

Being in poor in Warsaw or for example in Augustów has a whole different meaning. A pensioner living in a flat in Warsaw compared to the same pensioner living in a village outside the capital and growing his/her own vegetables is also another story. Especially here in Poland statistics do tell nothing.

News / Visegrad Battle Group under the command of Poland [261]

I'm not a nationalist, i'm a realist. Nationalism is a luxury of the rich countries that got a large error margin, Poland has little.

If there is a full-blooded nazi on this forum, it has to be you. I bet you adore the blue police.
Also understand you are a US Polack. I am as a EU citizen living in Poland, married with a Polish citizen, working here, paying my taxes here... Polacks should shut up - after all they all voted for the duck.

News / PIS and PO - what is the difference in their programs? [35]

Merged: Freedom in Poland and PIS?

According to Kaczynski parties if they work well for the future , must have facilities for young people who are naturally the future of the nation. - You are needed Poland, so that before your generation faces a great view. But at the same time facing a huge test. The state of today is Poland can be described in various ways. But the description reflects the essence of things will be the related to the younger generation - this generation unemployment , emigration, the perspective , the use of this huge resource accumulated by the older part of the younger generation , that is, those who have completed their studies - he said , referring to the resource skills , which is better education of the young generation . - The question of how it is used , or you create a new wave of Polish growth of Polish capitalism - he added.

I am surprised he knows the Internet exists :) E-banking maybe not :) But seriously, coming from a party which was eavesdropping on journalists, threathened Monika Oljenik with "I will get you", and a creep as Ziobro destroying his laptop...

Love / American marrying Polish woman in Poland - Church problems [79]

And there we have the crunch: when the church needs a new roof (as it always does) and somebody is offering to donate, interpretations can change.

Exactly, the polish church has its price for everything - preferably in cash. After all they did not mind to employ SB agents in the Komisja Majątkowa. Look in every Polish village who has the nicest house....

Law / T-Mobile replaces Era [21]

I do not understand why people get so excited about the smartphone circus. If you cannot live without e-mail, FB etc for even a few hours...

I liked the old Nokia 6310 phones. You could drop them on the floor again and again, they would stil work. Battery went on forever. Compare that to any smartphone.

Life / IS Poland in danger of becoming the next multi cultural sink hole? [201]

Would be good if the OP would register and we could sit on his head.
Maybe he was residing under the KM namiot?
Although passed today KM by bus and the fascists were gone. I hope they were fined for polluting the pavement - some city law could have be found?

News / Family Day in Poland [7]

Why a "strong loving family" has to contain 3 children minimum?
The funny thing is that you are plainly lying - suggesting that the Museum Night was organised to support some obscure family day.
Whereas it is an annual cultural event

Travel / Advise on where to buy Warsaw metro tickets [9]

Ticket machines talk to you :) in Polish, German and English. You can pay cash, debit card or credit card.
There are also ticket machines on some of the new buses, these only accept coins I think.
And in theory you can buy tickets from the driver, but they very often refuse to sell you them, require the exact amount in cash if they do it. I never ever see people buying on the bus/tram tickets anyway.

News / Family Day in Poland [7]

On the eve of the day museums were open until 1 am across Poland

Not true.Museums stayed open late because it was Museum Night (as almost everywhere in the EU). Nothing to do with some family day.
Also, people participating did not necessarily limit itself to families.

Travel / Advise on where to buy Warsaw metro tickets [9]

It's integrated, as is the SKM. Not sure about the WKD, though.

Yep it is integrated. You can use all modes of public transport (including KM, SKM, WKD) within the ticket zone 1 or 2 (depending what you paid for).

News / EU tribunal overrules Polish name contest in Lithuania [150]

I'm talking about prevailing ethnicity, that there was some exchange of people with neighbours is clear. To be honest all German are mix with other people, with Avarians, Slaves and others...

Perhaps we could go back to age when Poles were still living in trees and and Roman civilisation was everywhere in Western Europe?
This is of course is satirical, but how far you want to go back to justify demands?

News / EU tribunal overrules Polish name contest in Lithuania [150]

It is irrelevant how one comes into a position of power.
Hitler was elected in democratic elections.
Then he got rid of democracy.

You mean like the Crossists on KM? Nearest I saw to fascism in Poland until today.

News / EU tribunal overrules Polish name contest in Lithuania [150]

nazi government of Lithuania

Lithuania is a democratic country, member of the EU. The government was elected in democratic elections by democratic means.
Where does the "nazi" thing comes in?
And why in your warped mentality the Silesian regionalists are nazis and the Lithuanian government as well?

Real Estate / Stan deweloperski vs stan surowy [developing or undeveloping property state] [36]

Dewelopers are building on places where they know it will get flooded again. Good example near Warsaw is £omianki Dolne (names tells for itself). With the last flood they just scraped by, but for how long. But the administration is for me equally guilty, they should never allow to have housing estates built on places like that. Guess the money was more important :)

Poland before the WWII claimed those land being continuance of Commonwealth

To exactly which century you want to go back? If you want to go back before WWII, then Silesia was German (as it is and was).

By which right you claim in this case White Ruthenia, which was in fact a Polish colony?
By which right you claim Breslau, which was Czech and German for a big part of its existence?
