History / What do Poles owe to Russians? [193]

Oh, go f*uck a goat!

PS: And no, there don't exist any National Socialists anymore....neither Germans, Russians or Poles.
Just idiots who think they know something when they stand beside an Iron Cross. They have all muddled brains.

Calling them Nazis is just wrong on many accounts....I know my peoples history better than you!

Erm....you both know that "Nazi" acutally means member of the NSDAP, ja? I would be surprised to see living Poles and Russians between them! ;)

History / WW2 - The other side. What USSR, also that the Polish government has made not to admit WW2 [45]

Well....they messed up the Jewish community in Germany pretty bad.

Nobody spoke German, the German Jews tried to adapt in making the services bi-lingual. Most of them had no idea of Jewish cultural or even religious life at all.

ejpress.org/article/in_depth/1969

They claimed to be Jewish the moment they found a Jew in their family tree far back, just to be able to leave Russia. Where they Jews? Doubtful.

The same happened with the mass emigration of Russian pseudo-Jews to Israel. It got so bad that Israel now can show off their own kind of Neo-Nazis....Russian immigrants who actually hate everything Jewish!

news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/6985808.stm

It's better those Russians go back home now...

On the other hand more and more Jews from Israel get their second German citizenship ID...just in case...

History / The Greatest King of Poland? [117]

The brutal truth of the time was that outside of Poland no one really knew how to fight Turks, they had a string of victories and a powerfull army with an exotic and effective way of doing things, the only equally effective force in Europe were the Poles

Really!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish-Ottoman_War_(1620%E2%80%931621)

The Polish-Ottoman War (1620-21) or First Polish-Ottoman War was a conflict between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire over the control of Moldavia.
It ended with the Commonwealth withdrawing its claims on Moldavia.[1]

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish%E2%80%93Ottoman_War_(1672%E2%80%9376)

Polish-Ottoman War (1672-76) or Second Polish-Ottoman War was a war between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Ottoman Empire, as part of the Great Turkish War.

It ended in 1676 with the Treaty of Żurawno and the Commonwealth ceding control of most of its Ukraine territories to the Empire.

When Poles fighted the Ottomans alone they weren't as successful....allies were needed!
There is no shame in admitting that! Germans and Austrians needed allies too....

Nah,face it BB, he got you there :)

How so?
Where would the Poles had been without the allies...where would GB be without the allies?
The US and Russia saved both your bacons...not to mention the other plethora of useful (and less usefull) allies.

Would had anyone of you alone a chance of beating Germany? Really???

So where did he "got" me?

History / The Greatest King of Poland? [117]

Would not have been a battle in Britain if there were no brits dumbass.

That's what I meant, you idiot!
Without the allies and the brave citizens of Vienna there would be no battle. Acknowledging that you couldn't do it alone doesn't diminish your achievements, dumbass.

No its not, the Habsburgs were beaten, their capital besieged more than half their army destroyed.

This victory marked the beginning of the Habsburg hegemony in central Europe and the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

You don't get to rule till down to the Balkans in the wake of this battle if you are destroyed...

History / The Greatest King of Poland? [117]

I love it when history becomes a fairy tale full of dragons, knights in shiny armour and evil villains. :D

Polish history is full of it! :)

It's similiar to the bragging about the Battle of Britain...yes Poland played an important part innit but they wouldn't had stand a chance if there weren't the Brits , and the Brits wouldn't had stand a chance if they weren't supported by a huge plethora of Allies.

They could only win together.

The same with the Battle of Vienna, it was a war mainly between the Habsburgs and the Ottomans. Without the alliance with the Germans and others and not to forget the long, brave resistance of the Viennese people, holding out in the brutal siege, where would the proud polish troops be.

Bear that in mind!

History / What do Poles owe to Russians? [193]

Maybe you should read about the damage the Soviets did to humanity before you even start discussing.

But..but...but...you can not really demand that he learns about the Soviets too???
After all he knows already nothing about Germany, Poland nor the US (the country he lives in). The Soviets would so ovewhelm his two braincells...that is to much.

Germans are directly & indirectly responsible for the death of about 100 - 150 million dead Slavs in about a 30 year period.

Hey...make it 300...or wait....500 millions is even better...half a billion! I'm sure you will get there in time!

;)

Germany should be forced to give us their entire land. Then be forced to work as our Slaves for 10,000 years untill they pay us back the damages.

Yeah...sure....we all work in Poland and you holidaying in Germany....that way we will both go broke very soon! Not a good idea...no no!

Your idea in that other thread about going to war with the US was more sound and sane!

Language / Czech language sounds like baby talk to most Poles. Similarities? [222]

Goddam! No Pole except special cases such as philologists could pronounce the word "kříž" (cross) properly because of those hard "ř"s, soft "ž"s, long and short vowels, stress on first syllable (always) and totally upside-down grammar!

Actually that seems easy...for a German. I speak it naturally as you describe it. Hmmm....interesting....

Bratwurst, I'm not the one with who you fight endless debates and I will not have your bullshit. We are talking about re-creation the modern Czech and comparison of it with Polish.

Well..then bring dates with your posts...it can't be so hard, can't it!

This must be where the beauty of Czech women comes from :)

Stereotypes have it that the Czechs are the Germans of the slavic people! ;)

I have no idea though...

BB, are you not ashamed to litter quite serious thread? As if I was littering your path...

Well...you should bring dates to your posts. The modern state of what once was Bohemia and Moravia pursued the same kind of ethnical cleansing as Poland did after the war and the policy of anti-germanism including "cleansing" the language of any germanism started only in the interwar period.

Before that for nearly 2000 years Germans and the german language had been integral to these lands. It was part of the HRE for centuries...

Just saying...

On contrary, partitioned Poland retained her elite, the Church and the language.

Those mean Prussians!

ny germanism was thoroughly removed.

Not with the many Germans living there...

Charles University in Prague (also simply Charles University; Czech: Univerzita Karlova v Praze; Latin: Universitas Carolina Pragensis; German: Karls-Universität zu Prag) is the oldest and largest university in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1348,it was the first university in Central Europe and is also considered the earliest German university.[1] It is one of the oldest universities in Europe in continuous operation.

Too much reading of Volkischer Beobachter?

Nope...Rydz-Smigly in March 1939

Oh, and the Daily Mail, August 1939

Polish Marshal Rydz-Smigly:"...Poland wants war with Germany and Germany will not be able to avoid it even if she wants to...."

News / U.S., Poland sign military aviation accord [24]

America was almost single-handedly responsible for the German economic miracle in the 50's,

Nah....that would be the Germans.
Other countries received more than double and triple the amount of help and did not get any "miracle" done.

If it wasn't for the American presence in West Germany, it would seem unlikely that the country would ever have prospered. Likewise with West Berlin - if it wasn't for the Americans, it would've collapsed.

Well...the Soviets offered re-unification of Germany and wanted only neutrality in return. As it happened with Austria. They got their demands and left...not so in Germany. We still have our friends and their toys here.

History / What do Poles owe to Russians? [193]

Hitler didnt like Jews or Slavs (especially Poles) he would attack Russia and then probably Poland (speculation but certainly possible).

Hitler invited Poland to an alliance against Soviet-Russia....Poland declined.

I only wonder why, as they seemingly had similiar plans with Russia as Hitler had.

The partition of Russia underlies the Polish policy in the east.

Why "had"? Why the past tense? ;-)

Ouch! ;)

But really...now it's even more mystifying why Poles didn't join forces with Germany and the anti-comintern....we could have pooled our resources...

In my opinion Poland should get the american nukes from Germany.
Germans definitely don't want them anylonger and Poland might feel assured with having them and the US will still have their nukes in Europe.

A win-win-win situation!

I don't know where they got that previous figure even if it's recounted in today's money, i doubt real estate was expensive in pre war Poland.

I'm not sure about that....

If I remember correctly the Wertheim heirs demanded and got a reparation about estimated today's worth not that from 60 years back.

...
Those who are losing out include not only Jews, but also Germans whose real estate was seized when communist Poland annexed Silesia, as well as Poles whose property was left behind in the Western Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania when these segments of Poland’s pre-1939 territory were annexed by the former USSR....

Somehow I can't see changing that...

It wouldn't be the first time our tree hugger revealing a racist germanophobe streak in him.
He is using the same lingua like a bona fide Nazi, dehumanizing the enemy (yup that's us)....but thinks he is something better and soooo enlightened!

Crap!

"Less human, animal like, mechanical"....as if there is something to misunderstood! ROFL

"Subhuman animals" anybody??? Loddy was just on the wrong side...not his achievement!

BTW: I guess they would kiss our ass to "fraternize" with them today, instead of the current plethora of races that share their land. Karma is a biatch. I

Rofl
Says one born and living in the US the biggest mishpoke of all! You've got to be kidding!

Most of the plethora of races in Germany are folks from Europe who can't wait to come to live and work here...they seem to have no problems with the "less human, mechanical animals"!

Must be the water here....
