You mean there are fewer aprentices these days? I thought everyone did management or leisure and tourism these days. Maybe it's just the lack of demand? Maybe it's down to the corporate culture that puts the squeeze on sole traders these days?
Anyway, I see you don't deny that house prices are very high and that immigrants are not cheating the English out of their jobs. On that at least we agree.

If they hav done it could be due to (1) too many lazy British benefit cases sponging off the taxpayer (2) council house owners selling off their properties now the properties values have gone up.
You ought to take advantage of this while you can!

It's not one house per migrant - we might just be talking about 100,000 houses. In fact, according to the article, one in nine houses is occupied by foreigners. It might as well be said that over 80 percent of housing is occupied by British nationals. Anyway, migrants pay their taxes too so they are entitled to accomodation.
The only thing this story tells us is that the commission believes the number of migrants in accomodation could potentially be a flashpoint for idiots who read the mail. As usual though, the Mail focusses on the sensational aspect.

I was watching the house of lords comittee investigation into immigration on itv just there and they have recommended that the government cap all immigration into britian, including eastern european immigration from eu states. HIP HIP HOORAY
