News / Multi-culti (in Poland) -- roadmap to disaster? [344]

I have found Poland to be a great country to live in and if you bring something to the table, also quite lucrative. I can not imagine to have a similar lifestyle in my home country (Germany) as i have here.

I agree with you, returns here are very lucerative if you get locked in,in time here.STILL.

Work / Translation Company in Poland - would it be profitable here? [12]

Instead of opening a new business I would recommend to contact already running translation companies and get work from them till you gain a strong foothold in the market.I think one has to be a sworn translator for which there is a test to be passed.

Work / Mobile Food Cart Business - can I expect any profits? Do I need some special permission from government? [5]

The most important question....Does this type of business even works? any profits?

You can sell flowers/roses on busy street corners/traffic lights from a plastic container,it requires permit but im sure you can get away with it or afford the fine.I happen to know a guy in NY who took 100k a year doing that and even had people selling for him.Roses/flowers are a very popular thing in Poland.

I would stay away from food business as it is taken seriously and require major health regulations to be followed, and authorites will not blink an eye to enforce them.

USA is just the dictatorship that have a lot of money. When money is no more it would be just an average dictatorship

Not in your lifetime Mr Crow.

another nonsense of yours. We all knows USA ways. Its just about control and power. From the point of view of the USA, rest of the humanity is just tool, pool of resources and bunch of infidels

What just happened in France shows whats coming and better to curb it is nonsense?

All Turkey needs to do now is to scrap the visa for us as well :)

They do issue visa for american passports on arrival for 30$ and 20$ if you get it on internet before arrival.

Work / Import/Export Business - leather made, surgical and sports products. Will it be successful in Poland? [15]

If Pakistan share a similar spice palate with India, importing spices might be worth a try.

There is a wholesale supplier in mokotow called little india(i think) who is supplying to most indian/paki restaurants and also retails, but he gets them from UK maybe cuz its cheaper from UK then asia.heres the link below...

littleindia.pl
He was once also importing Indian beer(guess without a liq license)
