Love / How can I meet a Polish lady for a serious relationship ? [45]

Harry, or you are faking stupidity or you are really like that?

By arranged marriage any NORMAL human will understand forced marriages. And they are illegal according to the convention of 1st of August of 2014 from the CE, which Poland is a signataire (as also all other Council of Europe countries).

The penalty is Jail for those that force a marriage, WITHOUT right to Bail.

Stop spreading false information.

Is there any other Filipino-Polish couple out there?

I know dozens of Filipino Polish couples, but usually is Filipina Girl and Polish guy.

Love / My Pole bf is flirting with an old friend from high school [12]

He then told her he would be visiting Poland in the summer and would like to get a drink with her. When I saw the conversation we got into an argument and he told me that that's just how Polish people joke and that I didn't understand the culture.

This was probably the most stupid and non-sensical excuse that i had ever seen.

Your boyfriend is not just a bad-character. He is also dumb, extremelly dumb. Get rid of him.

Men (and Women) that cheat should be put to suffer and feel pain.

Love / Any Polish Muslim girls living in Poland? [103]

if I was to go to Saudi Arabia I'd probably be flogged for wearing a crucifix and not dressing like a ninja

Completing:

You would be flogged, if you survive to the flogging, they put you in jail for a long time and then deported.

Work / Storage Admin 3 years experience in field IT - salary in Poland [36]

only 600 zloty would be left,

In the beginning you said gross salary.

So you are forgetting the main thing in your calculation: Taxes.

They will take at least 20% of your gross salary.

it's avg. of 6000 Gross to others thinking it could reach 13,000 Gross per month. Seeing that much of a gap makes me confused

Actually that is not a huge Gap.

Someone with a degree from a top level french university and 5 years of experience deserve to earn 50% more than a fresh grad from an unknown university.

Work / Information about jobs for Indian students in Poland [286]

I tell you a good example,Never worry for money cuz its going to come where ever you are"

No it will not.

And as many others here, i would strongly advise for all of you not go to Poland unless you have some extremelly great skill that can be useful.

And that doesn't include 5 years degree or stuff like that.

News / Multi-culti (in Poland) -- roadmap to disaster? [344]

Why would a professional and skilled person choose Poland? What makes you Poles compare yourself to other western countries?

I am not Pole.
Now talking why i would choose Poland, the question is simple: The country is poor for european standards? YES. But have a thrilling Economy, the tiger of Europe. If you have money to invest, returns are over average for a stable economy.

Poland would be the last country even for unskilled workers to come to.

Tell that to the Pakistanis that appear on this forum everyday asking how to go to Poland.

Would be a favour that you would do. Seriously.

never return back to hell

You are pakistani and is calling Poland hell? Seriously?

And i wanna do a particular question: If you are a pakistani living in UK, why you comment so much in a Polish Forum?

Are you one of those looking for a girl here? Haha

News / Multi-culti (in Poland) -- roadmap to disaster? [344]

Yes.

I Think that Poland should just allow immigration from skilled, educated workers with peaceful background willing to embrace polish culture.

Like Engineers from South Korea or Statistician from Brazil (like me :P ).

Low skilled people from conflicting cultures (you know what i am talking about) should not be allowed.

Work / Translation Company in Poland - would it be profitable here? [12]

I really think that you need to sit down and clearly think about your options and what you really want to do. Talking about a "profitable hobby" while also planning your "real business" sounds a tiny bit deluded to be perfectly honest with you.

Agreed. That is what i will do until July of 2016...

You're just not a businessman, Levi, and never will be, no matter what you do. You just don't have it in you. At all.

Of course i am not a businessman, yet. I am very young and willing to learn.

About your predictions about the future (My Future, even not knowing me), well, keep your BS for yourself. If they were so good, you would not need to immigrate to Chicago to clean toilettes.

No personal attacks!

Work / Translation Company in Poland - would it be profitable here? [12]

Yes, i am not optimistic. Actually this would be just during the meantime until my real business is open, less than 6 months. I am a very productive person so wait all day long the time to pass is terrible. So more like a profitable hobby.

Work / Translation Company in Poland - would it be profitable here? [12]

Good Morning Everyone!

I would like, again, to ask for your advice :) As some of you know, i plan to open a business in Poland in the beginning of 2017. But while i will need to wait for the building be prepared and other things, i was thinking:

I Speak fluently Portuguese (Native), Spanish, English and French, and i am learning Arabic.

Would be profitable if i opened in Poland a translation company? Besides english (probably a saturated market) are there demand for translations from those other languages to Polish?

PS: I have a polish partner to help with the bureaucracy.

Life / Safety to live in Bialystok, Poland? [28]

and it's safety?

Yes, it is pretty safe.

How hot do you like it? It can be over 30C in July.

Well, i was talking about my personal experience, obviously. I was there in July and during the day was below 20 degrees, during the night around 7.

That's true. Then again, why should they?

I never said that they should. I just warned the guy.

Life / Safety to live in Bialystok, Poland? [28]

When i was living in Poland, i spend some time there.

Bialystok is a beautiful and good city. Cold even in the summer.

But be aware of one thing: Almost no one older than 30 years there speaks english.

Oh Crow, go look for therapy with that obsession that you have with USA.

Love / ACCEPTABLE modest wear for Polish women? [49]

in Poland and most western communities, there are people from all kind of religious backgrounds.

BS. Poland have 98% of Christian Population. As much homogeneous as Saudi Arabia. So you have no rights to use your double standards.

If you love your fiancee you should accept HER style and hope that she learns to accept your feelings and perhaps adapts her style - rather than expecting het to fit into a "matrix" that you created for her.

Exactly what i think! Who gives the right to a MAN decides and ENFORCE the way that her girl should dress in a free society like Poland?

SHE Should decide that!!!! Not him!!!

And the most scary thing is that this guy said, in another thread, that his girlfriend is polish.

Work / Suggestions for starting a business in Poland ( I have 50/60,000 USD ) [59]

but it is WITHOUT a cost of buying/renting a property"

Hi!
Thanks for your advice!
I am not thinking about buying a property.

The option that i have is an investor buying a property that is suitable for the business, agree with the needed reforms and then rent it to me at market value.

So those 60K USD would be for:

1 - Furnishing
2 - Adequations to abide the building to the law (like emergency exits, things like that)
3 - Rent (Do in Poland i also need to pay 2 months in advance like in another countries?)
4 - Etc

Another question that i have:

Since just my partner speak Polish, do i really need to speak polish to start this business? I am starting it but i fear that until the end of 2016 it will not be possible.

Work / Suggestions for starting a business in Poland ( I have 50/60,000 USD ) [59]

It's really 5min to roughly compare rent prices in major Polish cities. If you know price levels in Kraków and Warszawa, then tell us are they cheaper than Vancouver's or more expensive?

1st: Why so much bitterness Monitor?

2nd: In Which part of " I Dont Speak Polish yet" you didnt understood?

3rd: Cheaper. But as i said, i dont know the other cities, just Krakow and Warsaw. Anyway, thanks for your images, i will try to translate them.

Work / Suggestions for starting a business in Poland ( I have 50/60,000 USD ) [59]

I'm sorry to say this, but the above plus your lack of any experience in what life in Poland looks like in winter makes your idea completely not doable.

I lived in Poland..
(I Dont speak polish yet, because it is an incredibly difficult language for Latins, our grammar/phonetic is very different from Slavic one)

You'll need a Polish partner who has at least some experience in building anything in Poland to start thinking about that.

I have a polish partner, with a good understanding of Polish Law (but no understanding of tourism industry, which is my function hehe).
But also him doesn't know cities outside the three bigger ones (Warsaw, Lodz and Krakow), so we are seeing for some undiscovered places.

Your problem is going to be less deciding which city and more finding a suitable property in any city.

I Was thinking about that.

I am trying to find locations on internet to have an idea of prices, but all sites are in Polish-Only version (no need for unpolite observations about the fact that this is obvious, i know) and google chrome is terrible to translate polish-english or polish-portuguese.

How can you compete with other budget hotels and their vast resources.

Technically hostels doesn't compete with budget hotels, they are much cheaper. Eg: 20 zloty per night to sleep in a room with 5 other people at a Hostel, while a budget hotel charges 3 times more than that.
