I had a contact with both: Polish Sluzba Zdrowia and British NHS state run medical care and they are both equally bad.

And private medical care systems in both countries are good. Coincidence? Not likely. Private services are in 99% of cases better than those enforced state-run services.

It may be expensive, but once we stop paying mandatory insurance and subsidizing state run services with taxes, we will be able to spend that extra money on private medicare. And the increased competition will drive prices down.

Those who created the problem should solve it or suffer the consequences. So far Germany has created a massive problem in 2015 and then they tried to enforce their misery on the others.

East Germans may not be totally lost but they are minority in their own country and ruled by leftist majority. They are looked down by Western Germans. The only hope for them would be to split. But this wouldn't be allowed by the central government, and they are also to addicted to sucking on West German financial titties.

Yes, Russia is not infected with that PC bug, but it doesn't have much to offer. Yet, Polish government should normalize relations with both our eastern neighbours: Russia and Belarus.

But the future is in Central Europe, V4 and 3SI. It's on the rise and it's growing fast.

Germany is forbidden by international treaties to possess or develop any types of weapons of mass destructions: biological, chemical or nuclear.

I was referring to conventional assured destruction ie. bombing [Poland, US and Russia didn't sign the Convention on Cluster Munitions, the most lethal of non-mass destruction weapons], use of MLRS launchers and high caliber howitzers.

I'm from one of the last age groups which served in Polish Army under conscription before it was fully professionalized in 2010 so I know a bit about army.

Polish military doctrine is based on defense and counter attack. Poland doesn't build great offensive forces since it doesn't plan to invade anyone. And for international operations there are special units, best of the best: GROM, Agat and Formoza.

In general, the aggressor needs to have 3x as much military power [troops, equipment, supplies] as defender to effectively destroy the defending army and even more than that to control the occupied territory, which will soon be a theatre of territorial defense units operation and guerrilla warfare.

A current geopolitical situation is different than it was 80 years ago. Back then Poland had to face two aggressors, largest armies in Europe Nazi Germany and USSR at the same time.

Now we've got virtually disarmed [on many levels] but economically powerful Germany to the west and Russia, still dangerous but not as much as the USSR, to the east.

Russian is separated from Poland with Baltic-Belarusian-Ukrainian buffer. I also don't see a point of making them our enemies, Polish-Russian and especially Polish-Belarusian relations should be normalized and remain neutral.

All Poland has to do now is to invest in army to the point of mutual assured destruction with Germany to keep peace in Europe.

Those claims are made by Republic of Poland, which represents 2nd Polish Republic and Poles killed in WWII and also property destroyed by German military aggression of 1939-44.

That's a completely different case than some NGO from New York which claims to represent "all the Jews" and wants compensations from Poland for Polish citizens (regardless of religion) killed by Germans in WWII.

An NGO which claims to represent all the Jews: those who lives, those who died, and those who may or may not be born in the future or even those who consider converting to Judaism in the future :-P I'm making fun of it because it sounds so absurd that one can't take it seriously. The threat is real though.

Basically, this whole claim is based on some form of religious tribalism - which is obviously not represented in an international law - which ignores nationality and citizenship of Polish citizens who's got killed by Germans during WWII. That's exactly what Norman Finkelstein called a "holocaust industry"; a very shady organisation. Their claims are not only legally baseless but they sound more like an attempted extortion, which is a criminal activity.

The families of legal owners, of any nationality, can claim their lost property in a regular Polish courts. There are cases in which they won but the claim needs to be legal and well documented.

During WWII millions of Polish citizens have died. A lot of them were Polish citizens who followed Judaism.

The question is: why on Earth should Poland pay to some international Jewish organization, like WJC, for Polish citizens lost in WWII?

I like it cause I can finally see some real political dispute in Germany. It wasn't so for the last 18 years since Merkel started to rule. And if it leads to dissolution of the EU so much for the better.


If the economic pendulum swing in our favor and export/import structure improve so much for the better. But that doesn't mean that we should stop building a competing industrial and economic centre and rely mostly on one located in Germany. That's a short sighted policy.

Industrial centres benefits the most from the exchange no matter what and it also has a competitive edge and can use an economy of scale to its benefit. And where's the big money, there's a political and "soft" power.

No need to mention that when there's a economical crisis they cut the costs to ensure its own survival at a cost of suppliers.

Let's start with the basics: what works in a short-mid term doesn't always benefit country's long-term future.

The structure of that export surplus is important. Poland is exporting to Germany components with lower profits margins and importing final products from Germany (those with higher profits margins). Furthermore, Germany re-exports final products made with Polish, and V4, components to the US and other UE countries getting the highest profit margins which comes back to German economy (and industry).

That's how money is made.

It's a commonly known fact that Germany makes the most out of it. So if it doesn't suit you anymore, think that most other EU countries are twice as unsatisfied about current politico-economic order.

Basically, the V4 industry produces components for German automotive industry. Poland (and the V4) in order to grow in a more balanced form needs to break this cycle and start building strong Central European and 3SI economic centre, an Intermarium.
