History / What do nations of the world owe to Poland and Polish people? [58]
I have a question...
Poles, Jews, and many others suffered in WWII greatly.
Today Israel gets 3-6 billion dollars per year from USA (this has been happening for decades). They get plenty of military equipment from USA.
They are even allowed to have nukes.
Why is Poland (a member of NATO) treated in a different way? What makes Israel/Jews so special?
Poland was squished by Germany and Russia. Why cant Poland have some nukes?
I have a question...

It baffles me why Poland is allied to them now AGAIN.
You'd think the leaders in the country would learn something from history.
And even the president from USA at the time (was it Roosevelt?) is too blame too especially closer to the end of the war.

England helped itself to Polish gold stored in Canada after ww2 to make sure Poland paid for everything that Polish army received.

Antheads, interesting article but if there is a "network" there are members from various groups inside Poland.
Americans, Germans, Jews, and Russians. There are independent thinking Poles too.

I dont understand that fully.
Some people say the Church helped in "winning" over the Communists.
Other people say the Communists send agents to Catholic Church.
With PiS, the two things I dislike are: 1) Kaczynski himself, they need a different choice in my opinion 2)their foreign policy is a bit awkward as well.
Well actually I think NATO should have died after the Wall Fell.

The key is to KILL the EU organization. Throw it in the bin.
Poland should follow Japan or China in general (closed, united and for the most part homogenous). The government economic and other social policies should be similar to Russia.

By 2050 the population will be around 34,000,000
If Poland could get ~2.5+ children soon, by 2060 it would reach a population of ~50,000,000 (much better than third world immigrants).
If only it was easier to be influential and somehow make the leaders listen. Really if a Polish politician could do that (regardless of their political side) I would vote for them easily.
Poland should follow Russian way when it comes to family and economy (Russias gdp standing is increasing year after year as well).
And try to follow East Asian attitude as well.
