Life / My Last Link To Poland Died - Why Leaving Poland Was My Best Decision [249]

Well Christ is King of Poland and the country is well over 80% christian so naturally some statements are out of bounds. Atleast in poland the media and people are still free to discuss the problems that muslim migrants are causing. Although if the EU and the marxist socialists got their way these discussions would be curtailed and made illegal. For now, we can report and discuss these issues. In uk not so much, that's why Tommy Robinson was arrested and put in jail.for 13 months for reporting on the trial of a dozen alleged (and he made sure to that word) muslim rapists.

Dirk, you don't need to worry your pretty little head bout the UK

Seeing as I have family there, I am concerned for them. Id hate to see one of the youngins falling victim to a Pakistani kidnapping and rape gang and then family members being unable to draw attention to their cause due to censorship and thought crime. Neither do i wish for them or any other british citizen to fall victim to being culturally enriched by a truck, knife, bomb, etc.

Where is your sense of being Slavic? If you have any dignity in yourself,

She has neither. That's why she criticizes her country and rejects her polish culture and what it entails. That's why she went to nz and married a Bangladeshi. Shes been brainwashed by the liberal media and diversity.

So you think a home or business owner does not have the right to protect his/herself from murder, rape, robbery, etc?

And I'm the one with the ****** up views lol

If you dont want to protect yourself and your family from murder, rape robbery etc be my guest. Most normal people however will..

I wonder if something like this happens in any other country except UK???

It's censorship of speech and media is quite comparable to the USSR. And indeed many other countries like sweden, france germany etc are heading that way

Do you mean that these 'travellers' should have been shot and killed? is that what you are saying

Thats the chance you take when you break into someone's house or business or enter it illegally. If someone broke into my house or business theyd be shot immediately. No what are you doing, why'd you break in, or any of that other b.s..my shottie will do the talking.

funny how septics make a big deal of how terrible life is in the UK when they have no intention of going there

Oh I've been there several times and thank goodness each time I had a return ticket. Otherwise I'd likely be prosecuted for thought crime - merely for citing government amd commenting on statistics regarding muslim and african migrants.

Us has a lot of problems, but problwms with restricting freedom of speech, assembly, media etc arent among them.

M.Piskorski is in prison 2-nd year.no charges .crime? - calling for closer ties with Russia.

He likely took money from russia or shared privacy info. No one goes to jail in poland simply saying they like Putin or opposing sanctions.

I'm following the Robinson case quite closely. It's mind boggling that people aren't revolting in droves. Man am I glad that I didn't move to London when my company wanted me to.

That's why Americans wont give up their guns. It's a safety net. Once you give up your guns there is no limit to how much the government can bully you - especially if you're a white christian and socially conservative

Study / MS Finance vs MBA vs MFE in Poland? [13]

Has nothing to do with his question... Besides poland has no internationally recognized mba programs. I wrote that a long time ago as the main reason why I continued my education in us instead of poland.

The only somewhat decent one is the sgh mba with university of Quebec

Sgh is regarded as the top b school in poland. Here is info on their mba

News / An article: NATO is the American occupation of Poland and Europe, by Mateusz Piskorski [233]

That's why I'm against it. It's not western Europe that will be wasted by a war with russia, poland will face the most destruction. Yet pis insists on poking the bear...

And a eu army will not be enough to deter russia... even with an expanded nuke program. Nato and eu still arent helping ukraine push russia out and retake Crimea. They've given up on that a long time ago. And poland and sooner the baltics esp Estonia will have to do all the heavy lifting should russia invade. That's why imo poland should learn to live next to russia rather than constantly antagonizing them. Neutrality would be our safest option.

"arming the Afghan resistance

Well it was Reagan's idea to arm the most radical faction against the commies. Rhey werent interested in the more moderate ones. And then us money had to be spent buying back the same stingers and blowpipes they sent once they realized giving anti helicopter rockets to islamic fundamentalists was a bad idea...

The EU as an organization has no say in NATO matters

Yes, but almost all EU members are NATO members so obviously theyre connected

France and Germany will at some point in time start a joint nuclear weapons program

And it still wont be enough to counter russia... russia could overrun the baltics within a day and one sarmat missle (awesome.name btw) could wipe out all of france

The reason why poland is looking to the us for security and not other eu/nato nations is because they knew only the us had a chance against russia. Just look at the total lack of response in Ukraine and these hypocrites talk about 'european solidarity'

still in Afghanistan fighting that war with us.

Trillions of dollars, the best tech, tons of soldiers, 17 plus years and they still can't defeat a bunch of goat herders and farmers with rusty ak47s...

They are discussing this already.

Indeed the eu has already created numerous eu security organizations, complete with goose stepping soldiers waving the eu flag.

But if they think a eu army is going to scare russia much less repel.an invasion theyre sorely mistaken. The us cant even defend against the newest russian missle tech and the eu is somehow going to rofl please....

The 2% target is a guideline, not a must. You know there's a difference between

Right because the eu has really cared about rules and guidelines. Whenever a nations citizens voted against the Lisbon treaty they brought it in anyway. Happened to Ireland, Netherlands, etc. If it goes against the eu project of.creatinf a united socialist monostate rules, guidelines and even referendums arent respected.

And I bet now theyll push another brexit referendum and itll have a different outcome - just like they did to Ireland eith the Lisbon treaty referendum

Not respecting your own rules, guidelines and votes is right out of the commie playbook

the UK'

It is a shame what just happened to Tommy Robinson... live streams in front of a court house, doesn't yell or cause problems yet gets arrested for disturbing the peace... than the judge orders a media gag..

I knew there were problems with freedom of speech, freedom of press etc in media but I neber thought it was this bad...

America has lots of problems, but atleast were free to say and report on what we want.

It's a shame people like you don't understand just how much freedom you have/had in Poland.

Eh poland doesn't have all that much freedom of speech. Of course far more than uk, Germany, france sweden etc bc atleast poles can discuss all the problems caused by the migrant crisis and reveal the race and religious identity of people... But it's still less than the USA

Work / Native English speaker looking to teach English in the Opole area of Poland. [29]

You need a raft of qualifications and teaching experience to make any real money.

And even then you'll make less than a newbie coder or developer from pakistan...

My aunt has two doctorates one in sanskrit/Hinduism and another in teaching. She's traveled all over the world, has numerous published works and has 20 30 years of experience working as a teacher. And yet she makes in a month what a German professor makes in a week.

Although I have seen some polish unis paying 35 40k even up to 50k usd a year salary for professors with PhDs, deans, high level admin staff, etc. It's fraction of what theyd makr in the US (college prof generally has a 100 120k starting salary while admins can make 150 to 250k, some top positions like deans, presidents etc can make even 300 to 500k a year) but 40 50k usd is a great salary by polish standards. But of course youd meed a PhD to be eligible....

Imo the best way to make some decent money is to teach privately. Offer tutoring services, learn some corporate speak and make a small biz and market yourself as a 'business/corporate English' teacher. Even better if you're bilingual and actually have a corporate education/experience, but you can always embellish your experience. Besides its nothing you can't learn from a few forbes and Bloomberg articles or Wikipedia

Study / MS Finance vs MBA vs MFE in Poland? [13]

Basically none offer dual program of mba with concentration in ib with master in it.... It's either one or the other unless you want to pay for both. Imo learn the it stuff on your own, get the certs if.need be, and do an mba.

I'm around half way done with my mba and the mba concentration you chose doesnt really matter. If anything id chose finance bc it's the most useful both in the corporate world and entrepreneurial world.

Also IB is pretty useless. That's what i majored in for bachelors.

@Ania30

Bye traitor, don't let the door hit you on the way out

Polish men are xenophobic, aggressive, and backward. We

And proud of it!!! Women seem to be pretty happy with it too due to spread of cucks and spy boys all over the western world. If it wasn't for a polish man wed would never have online virginity auctions and hundreds of girls could never go to college, much less make a ton of money for something theyll end up doing anyway

Polish women arent a bunch of feminazi mud sharks... Thank God! They're beautiful mild manner and educated thats why so many foreign men seek out polish women - just like your husband did.

Oh and fyi more people are moving to poland than ever. Tourism records keep going up too.

News / An article: NATO is the American occupation of Poland and Europe, by Mateusz Piskorski [233]

It's basically the same as hiring a security guard to protect your house... only in this case its poland hiring the u.s. and basically bribing them to maintain a permanent presence instead of rotating around.

Waste of poles money imo.. we already exceed the 2% gdp requirement which very few nato partners do.

Wed be better off starting a secret nuke program and neither confirming nor denying we have one. Or we could just outsource the whole thing. Im sure Pakistan could spare 5 to 10 nukes for 2 billion

Law / Importing cars into Poland [8]

It all depends how old the car is, engine size and if you've owned it for 6 months yet or not. Imo its only worth importing personal high end american cars as they are way more expensive than german cars in poland. A jeep cherokee or hummer is more of a status symbol than a Mercedes or BMW of the same class.. caddilacs even.more so they're probably as rare as Bentleys

I like polamer and doma for shipping. Doma the most but idk if they do cars also.
Generally shipping on a roro ship costs 1k to 2k plus depending on the weight of vehicle.

Thwres tons of paperwork involved too thanks to the polish entry in the eu. Back in the day you could stuff a car in a container and no one would care. Now you the inspectors check everything coming into the ports. But customs at the airport is still lax.

Oh Jesus another one of these??

@Azza1710

Do you realize how low the pay is for new English teachers in Poland? You'll spend more money on CELTA certification (around 2.5k in the US, not sure how much is in the UK) than you will make as a teacher over the course of 3 months (average salary of English teacher in PL is 2.5-3k zloty)

I mean you couldn't just turn up and start teaching with no qualifications or experience.

No, but you can tutor and actually make a far higher hourly rate than a newbie English teacher in Poland would earn

Chose a different career - especially if you and your wife ever plan on having kids... the decent salaries for English teachers in Poland are long gone and the market is pretty much tapped.

USA, Canada / Would you live in California, USA? [240]

I love our us economic and business system. The income and corporate gains tax may be high, but there's a lot of opportunities to make that money back. Plus theres a lot more stupid people in the US willing to pay exorbitant prices. My very first job i worked in the medical waste industry i was told i could sell contracts for whatever price i wanted. Some of my customers paid a fair $100, others paid $1000 or even more the same service - a cardboard box that costs us $60 to treat once its filled with waste. My most profitable customer was a famous hotel chain named after a certain famous blonde sloot. I could never get away with that in the eu. People are too smart even if they're not informed, they'll get informed whereas many americans are just lazy or they don't care to even bother educating themselves.

On the plus certain eu countries laws are way more lax when it comes to certain businesses, taxes are way lower in many countries, there's more bank privacy, among a lot of other pluses.

You just gotta find a way to make the system work for you. Some businesses will absolutely thrive in the eu while in the US they wouldn't at all and theyd get seized. A venture im working on now wont work in the U.S. but will be perfect for a certain eu country. Just depends what you want to do....

@cms

Of.course it totally inaccurate. There's so many companies with insane amounts of debt. Just look at for they have a debt to equity ratio of like 400.to 1. That means for every dollar in equity theyre $400 in debt. Tesla is around 1:200 and gm 1:70. Yet these companies are in no danger of collapse anytime soon. In fact, theyre taking on even more debt for r and d especially Ford and tesla and banks are more than happy to borrow it to them.

Also unfunded pension liabilities are not included in national debt. If they were, economists argue the truw figure would likely be anywhere from 70 tril to as high as 200 tril.

Plus China and Japan owe huge amounts of us dollar denominated debt. They're not gonna call this debt in one fell swoop. And because they hold so much debt they want to make sure the dollar doesnt fall too much and it remains serviceable. They're not going to just give this debt up and say screw your dollar just to spite us.

USA, Canada / Would you live in California, USA? [240]

GDP includes only new products and services produced in a specific year (so a 2017 car that sits in a lot for a year and doesnt get sold till 2018 doesmt count) or in more detail private consumption, investments, government spending and exports minus imports, of that year if going by the expenditure model of measuring gdp.

So yes, that 20 billion spent on building schools, hospitals roads etc would be included in California's gdp as it is a government expenditure. It would be G in the formula gdp = c + I + g + (x - m)

What is not included in government spending and hence GDP is transfer payments - unemployment, welfare, disability etc. Income and sales taxes are not counted in gdp either although subsidies and business taxes are if using the income method to calculate gdp.

News / Polonophobia rising in Israel. [144]

I knew he wouldn't. I knew he'd cut funding to like social groups or those that promote women's rights and stuff like that but that's a drop in the bucket. And it's a shame he cut that because a lot of these 3rd world women have no clue how to use a tampon or condom even if it was given to them for free. But that money is peanuts compares to the military interventionism. Once he said he'll make the us army stronger than ever I knew that there was no way he could cut out us involvement abroad as the two are so interconnected.

Well with Libya it was mainly to prevent gaddafi from launching a new currency called the dinar to sell his own country's oil instead of the us dollar and hoping that currency would spread to other african and Arab oil producers and theyd ditch the dollar. Also the country had virtuslly no debt, and these people get a boner anytime they think of indebting an entire nation. Communism historically has not worked, but a softer version of socialism that takes into account religion, culture, customs etc of a country sure worked for Libya under gaddafi.

With Iraq and Syria it was just an attempt an balkanization to make us/saudi arabia/israel the dominant players in the ME with oil a 2nd consideration.

International.banks and imf also make a ton of money by offering reconstruction loans to the countries that the us destroys.

And some people still wonder why nk wont give up its nukes....

American hawks, military industrial complex, large currency traders, IMF, zionists, banks - a dangerous consortium...

It's not jusy those countries it was the same **** in Europe, Asia, Africa, latam, etc. Atleast a few times like in Vietnam, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan karma caught up with their hubris and violent arrogance and they got their asses handed to them.

And now it's the same in Iraq - the same country they invaded over non-existent wmds (which actually Reagan gave them in the 80s but they used them all up against Iran and destroyed much of the test to comply with un) which is now being run by the leader of the peace companies that killed thousands of occupiers. Thats just sweet sweet irony...

Oh and Hezbollah gained even more seats in the recent lebanese elections

@gregy741

I don't see Mozambique and a few other african countries on the list. Nonetheless its pretty accurate. America tries to spread its debt laden declining dollar and anyone who refuses is dealt with violently.

You're not going to explain this to people inflicted by the disease of american/Israeli exceptionalism...

It's okay for a person to blow up your house, kill your family as long as it's an American or israeli doing it...

If the nazis won ww2 to this day the ak would be a terrorist organization and the warsaw uprising would be their 9/11...

Hell I think polands a better place to live and raise a family than US. But it's not for everyone.... I guess if you like paying exorbitant taxes, having your kids buried in debt the day they get their social, and dealing with an extremely divided (in every way economic, social, political) violent society than its great...

Om the plus side, there's free speech so you can complain all you want about it....
I think theres more business opportunity now in poland and eastern Europe than in the US. That wasnt the case 20 plus years ago but things have changed

News / Polonophobia rising in Israel. [144]

You want things to be logical, fair, just, and equal. This not how the real world operates

Logic and fairness, justice, equality are entirely different things. Logic is based upon reasoning, modality, reference, etc. You as a supposed philosophy major ought to know that...

Of course the world isn't fair. I'm the first person to look for exploits and opportunities and use them to my advantage - fair or not. However, 'fairness' has little to do with logic. I didn't say that the situation is 'unfair' what I said is that it is illogical, lacking reason, to criticize one country for being supported by an ally but praise another for the same action.

But on that note, just as it isn't 'fair' when an Israeli bombs a hospital, school or other civilian target, it also isn't 'fair' when an innocent Israeli gets stabbed by a Palestinian or one detonates their suicide vest in a crowd. But that's life - and the actions of a country, government, group, religion, etc. that you belong to and identify with may end up affecting you as an individual - fair or not....

I will always be proud to be a hypocrite. The opposite is treason, treachery, disloyalty, and betrayal.

You're more messed up than I thought....
And no the opposite of being hypocritical is being honest, straightforward...
In fact treason, treachery, and disloyalty as closer to being synonyms of 'hypocritical' than antonyms....

"Death to America".

Chalk it up to free speech. And the Soviets used those words quite a bit - including Khrushchev in public - even at the UN

The idea that I should treat my family or the country the same way as I do all others is beyond naive.

No one is asking you or expecting you to do otherwise. I place my motherland, Poland, and my family above all others. But since you say that, which country do give priority then? America or Israel? Because to me it seems like you're placing Israel waaaay ahead of America (certainly above your motherland which you've rejected) - considering your apologist attitude towards the USS liberty and the fact that your tax money is being sent abroad rather than being invested within the US

Or could it even be Russia????

I think you're simply having an identity crisis and have become extremely bitter in your old age... simple as that... You've abandoned your motherland which you now hate, but then praise communism and apologize for Russian crimes, claim to love the US so much and Israel, but downplay Israeli attacks on US sailors and say its no big deal that tens of billions of dollars of US tax money are shipped abroad....

You just full of cognitive dissonance man... I'm not even going to bother replying anymore... there really is no point. I'd have a more lucid conversation with a wall.
