News / What will drive Poland after 2020 - when Eu funding dries up? [96]

EU member states which are having problems with the numbers of migrants arriving on their shores

All down to Angela Merkel, she made a poor choice in life when she alone gave the invitation, not voted for in the european parliment.

If the cap fits she should wear it and sort it

Poles being allowed to have the right to unchecked migration.

Poles migrating within europe are conforming to european law, there is no need for you to vilify them because they do not want illegal immigrants imposed upon them.

No.

So you are saying that the oposition party has no plans to allow unchecked migratiom.

Nice to see you finally slipping into pure personal abuse

My comment was a general one, and not strictly directed at you , but does that mean that you identify as a libtard economic migrant.

refusal to help those needing help will not cost Poland too much.

So are you saying that now Poland is not ruled by a foreign power at the end of a gun , we now have a new master that rules us with money?.

Do you not support the democratic vote that Polish people make when they chose a government?

Do you think that Europe or Germany should run Poland?

Language / Ukrainian language similar to Polish? [236]

lexically similar

Not so smart after all , your use of " lexically ", and punctuation reveal your true identity here on PF, so stop being naughty

Why can't we just all get along

Great idea Smurf.

no one needs a passport or documentation to travel and live anywhere in the world.Hopefully that day will come

But I wouldnt want to get on a flight where no one was documented or vetted.

nothing more than your perception of their race

There are many migrant races jumping out of boats onto the shores of Europe, there are also plenty of European migrants moving by legitimate means, therefore very hard to discriminate by race or colour.

The problems arrise from undocumented and unvetted migrants, and the risks that are created by having such a "all welcome open door policy"

You might as well argue that no one needs a passport or documentation to travel and live anywhere in the world.

about other refugees

I was talking about migrants , there is a difference.

Thousands of genuine refugees are languishing in camps with no one to help while hordes of migrants, criminals and terrorists are burning their doucuments, paying thousands to smuglers to put them on boats to Europe

will be reflected in the amount of money

No amount of money can compensate for the terrorism, rape, murder, racial and religious intollerance and segragation that the open door policy of herr Merkel has created by allowing uncontrolled migration.

UK, Ireland / Why are Poles in the UK complaining of racism when you are racist? [73]

This is a ridiculous thread

I don't have a clue why this thread is here either, I can only think it is to incite and provide a platform for those who wish to flame, incite and argue.

Maybe its a dumping ground that the moderators use for venting brexiteers.

UK, Ireland / How might Britain`s withdrawal from EU affect Poles there and here? [474]

triggering Article 50,

It's going to be an exciting ride thats for sure, the EU politicians are trying to be nice and civil at the moment, but just wait until it is triggered, all the rivalries of the past will come to the fore, with France and Germany at the head of the lynch mob.

Which side of the fence will Poland sit? will Poland become the voice of reason and reconcilliation, Will Donald Tusk on his return from his post at the EU have a negative or positive stance on British Brexit.

News / Poland leads in benzopyrene pollution -- 40 time the WHO admissible level - GW [14]

domestic wood and coal fires.

A visit to a town or city here in winter reminds me of when I was growing up in the Balck Country in the early sixties, smog and all, I am lucky I don;t live in a town, people around here also think it is ok to burn plastick bottles, my plastick waste used to go missing overnight until someone explained that people burn it, I put my waste out and hour before the bin men arrive nowadays.

Language / Perfective vs Imperfective - grammar [150]

And your accomplice Niederschlesier should get a rebuke from Atch ...

I feel hurt that you would threaten me with such a severe sanction, the err was born out of good intent, we only wished to discover what the two majical Polish symbols of circle and upturned triangle meant .

Or is there a much deeper Masonic meanng that you do not wish us to discover?.

We appeal to a higher Authority to enlighten us as to he meaning and origin of aforesaid symbols and guide us back on topic as to whever these are perfect or Imperfect.

broad shoulders and tapering waist of a he-man

I always saw it as an upsidedown dress and very similar to the standard female sign, hence plenty of confusion.

as for the O, I cant believe it could be that crude, or can it?

comprehensible to mutli-national vistors, tourists, passengers, etc.

Which brings me to another question, where did the symbol O for female and a triangle for male toilets originate.

Our local town has just built a new toilet block using those old symbols, it is going to confuse the hell out of most tourists.

News / Poland: veterans and freedom-fighters want Jaruzelski posthumously demoted [20]

On what basis? If simply serving in the PRL is grounds for loss of rank

On the basis that duing the cold war these "Polish" army officers unders Soviet command were prepared to lead my brothers in to a direct fight with the free world, There was a time during this period when I have could been ordered to kill my own people. These officers should have remained as conscripts only and left the leadership to the soviet commissars.

So in 1989, the most unstable and uncertain year since the war, it would have been a good idea to strip everyone in the army of newly independent Poland

I Said "Anyone who held any military rank during the communist era should be stripped of that honour,"

If you notice I use the present tence "Should be" not should have.

It would have been idiotic to try this n 1989 as some poster inferrde (Without reading my post properly) , it may have led to conflict.

But now is the time to sort business.

refers to an outhouse. If it's indoors with running water it's a toaleta.

That's interesting we had an outhouse and a toilet indoors, my parents used umywalka for indoor bathroom, they were both farmers, so i suppose they may only of had an outhouse on their farms in Poland.
