Are there so many princesses, princes, lords, duchess, etc in Buckingham? who they say the same for ordinary Brits that they should be happy if they are unable to eat the cake as they have the bread already. These royals make fun of ordinary Brits and you become milky and come here to make fun of Poles?

Does this happen in Poland?

People I Know(Poles in Poland) only go to the pub once a month and they can afford maybe 2 or 3 beers.

On the same stay, the local host booked me some Indian-owned B&B in Cambridge. The "English breakfast" was shameful: some porridge, a toast and processed cheese. The owner asked me if I could send some Polish maid to work at his "hotel" (apparently for chicken money). Now tell me about the poverty in Poland, mate...

and they go out 7 nights a week and get hammered.

Great town but surely there are several towns, like this in Poland,no? This was one of the first towns I saw in Poland and it's sad to think it goes down from here. Most Europen countries have several towns like this or above this.

So how is it possible that British blue collar workers visits Spain frequently not to mention stag parties in Poland?

A lot of people on here have the 'imperialist' attitude,in their attitude,the Poles to them are second class citizens, and they should be happy that they are not starving like children in Africa.

Well, be sure. If a couple are living on the breadline because they have to run a car and pay a mortgage or one of those extortionate rents. Then normal life standards, like having a child (even one) become an impossibility, holidays forget about it. This is poverty!!!. I know people who have good jobs and because of inflation etc, they live as poor people by european standards.

$710 in Poland maybe equal to $3000 in Western countries as the costs there are much higher.

What about cars,property,petrol,electronic goods,clothes????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????? Takes up the bulk of monthly bill.

~75% of the population.

For me everybody is poor in Lublin compared to western europe. I don't know how people survive here. I'd say 90% in the east of Poland are broke and living on hope for better days.

Well I like to hear the point of view of people who are not simply pushing positive information about the Polish economy, so as to keep the property bubble inflated. I was just talking to a guy outside Lublin who is just back from 8 years in Ireland and he is now working for 7 zloty an hour. This kind of reality is not represented here as a bunch of Brits have hijacked the site. I'm just looking for a balanced view, maybe eventually the Poles will come on board here and defend the reality of THEIR country......
