Thats right , and they have started rebuilding train tracks already.

Quite right. new track in exactly the same place as the old track.

Poland needs new direct routes. If road building is anything to go by these new trains will be out of date by the time the track is finished.

Travel / Hotel / Hostel in Wroclaw in the city centre - any recomendations? [13]

campanile: close to the centre, but there is no direct route. 10-15 mins walk.
if you're hungry there is a McDonalds nearby and a big tesco 10 mins away.

note: the main railway station is undergoing a refit/repairs and is not the sort of place u want to be with only two minutes to spare.

live concerts are one of the only ways for bands to make money these days.

those who download music usually don't pay for it. hence the above.

The thing about cheap and tacky popculture is that just when you think there could be nothing worse than the gap-toothed slut Madumma, a Lady Zgaga comes along and proves you wrong. It's like Michigan weather -- if you don't like it, just wait five mintues.

True. but for example when there is a long weekend somewhere you might find traffic travelling in one direction and not the other.

it should be safe to stop for petrol at night right?

in the summer next year.i cant make up my mind if i should drive through most of the night as less traffic any thoughts anyone?

it will only be dark for 5 or 6 hours.

check sunrise/sunset times. it might make a difference to your plans.
