Off-Topic / Anglo-expat ingrate still insulting Poland's head of state [33]

transcripts of press conferences

At no press conference was I ever asked about Jewish press agencies nor did anyone ever raise the question. That is another of your concoctions just like the state property at knock-down prices.

And this is what I should be deported for? You are sick, Hairy Cat! Now, American Jewess Ruth Gruber wr0okign for UPI in Warsaw was expelled during martial law and she did go to work for the Jewish Telegraphic agency.

giving permission

Come on. Get with it. I feel nauseous everytime I see you "snitching to mods" or grovelling to ask mods permission for something. Letter of the law, rules, regulations, procedures -- all very Pharisaical. I used to think it was Prussians who had that exaggerated "Ordnung muß sein" mentality, but it seems to be shared by some Anglo-expats.

stop annoying

And Cat Duda or the dud are not offensive to you?

authorities turn a blind eye?

It has to be reported to the autorities and they take it from their. They probably don't even know what kind of slime they have let in.

your past actions

What past actions? More nasty insinuations like "government property at knock-down prices"?
When did you last type Cat Michnik, er ,um, sorry, Cat Jew-Michnik, Cat Schetyna, She-Cat Kopacz, Cat Petru?

cat Dud

And I'm wondering why the mods allow a poster to openly insult the democratically elected President of the Republic of Poland. It's one thing to call a complete nobody hairy or baldy or what have you, but the head of state in whose country a parasitic Anglo expat is allowed to live...at least he should show a minimum of civility and respect. But it's understadnable for someone who's got vitriol in his blood and hatred in his heart. Someone who hates Poland, the Polish people, culture, religion, food and most everything else and even violates Polish orthographic norms should head back to Merry Olde England without delay. Albion beckons!

UK, Ireland / Why English do not like Polish? [417]

That was then

My impression is that at this stage the Germans are still super-indulgent and accommodating to the refugee/migrant invasion they initiaited. But how long that will last is anyone's guess. The Muslim newcomers by and large do not want to integrate.They want to set up their own ethno-religious enclaves bankrolled by German taxpayers.

Welsh

Well, Wales is part of the UK, so they could also by rights do that for Scots Gaelic although it would probably be symbolic, because how many Scots actually speak it?. But Hispanics constitute the No. 1 non-English-speaking minority in the USA as do Poles in Britain.

Americans often seem reluctant

Partially true, but the extent to which official America has bent over backwards to cater for Hispanics is staggering. Even in states where Hispanocs are few and far beween the recorded phone messages start with: for Engkish press 1, for Spanish press 2.... I think if that was done in the UK (for Polish press 2) it would really freak many Brits out.

Po polsku / Co sądzicie o prawie do wyborów w Polsce? Głosowanie za granicą. [18]

urodzeni i wychowani w USA

Tacy nie mają. Głosują w USA w polskich wyborach emiranci urodzeni w Polsce i mający polskie obywatelstwo.

News / PM Szydło calls V4 summit a success, may be underestimating Old Europe's guile [18]

THAT CAT KIJOWSKI

Not to mention THAT JEW-CAT MICHNIK?

Merkel certainly did the right thing

If you think so, then she could have done an even better thignn by inviting not apaltry 800,000 last that year, but let's say two million. Come one, come all, Deustchland lädt euch an. As chancellor she is authorised to take numerous decisions PERTAINING TO HER OWN COUNTRY. But to try to impose the bitter fruits of Merkel's Folly on hapless neighbours? That is the heigth of arrogance, cheek and that know-better attitude the Deustche are known for.

MODS, MODS: (Just in case soembody didn't catch on,I'm pretending to be H the snitcher) Care to explain whether such blatant abuse of Poland's head of state is allowed on the forum. It was stated not too long ago that it would not be tolerated. Doesn't that deliberate, premeditated violation of PF ground rules warrant permanent expulsion or, at the very least, a five-year suspension?

conservative Angela

In any movement, campaign, party or other collective there are always opportunists who ostensibly do not fit the puzzle. Merkel represents a major power regardless of her private poltical prference and sees her association with EU bigshots as the best way to shield her from the pitiful results of "Merkel's folly", her open invite to refugees all and sundry to invade the continent. She could hardly find support amongst conservatives, in fact there has been a backlash against her in her own CD party.

Yes, change always triumpths. The post-roundable clique have had their fling and savoured the fruits of transformation. And no matter how much they want to cling to the status quo, it's time to move on and spread the benefits to the rest of the nation -- the have-nots, the excluded and disadvanategd. Yes, for once I can agree with you: there's no stopping change, especially if it is the GOOD CHANGE!

moderate politicians

Leftists and crypto-Marxists are hardly moderate polticians. They are pushing or pretending to be pushing for society's disentegration on the ideological plane to win the support of every manner of self-styled "progressive", iconoclast, family-basher, christophobe and assorted lefty loon, whacko and deviate. In actuality, behind that pseudo-ideological façade, their real aim is to feather their own nest and promote their clique cronies. It's as old as the hills although first codified by Machiavelli.

do their job better

Yes, indeed, Old Europe's dogmatic elite did such a good job of bullying that they forced Britain to quit the communtiy. There has also been talk of Frexit and other copy-cat reactions. No-one has heard any apologies form the Junckers, Schultzes, Hollandes, Merkels and other Tusks, so who knows if they have seen the error of their ways or are just stalling for time to cook up new ruses and pitfalls to stay in power and ensure their continued hegemony ovfer the commuity.

News / PM Szydło calls V4 summit a success, may be underestimating Old Europe's guile [18]

Poland's PM Beata Szydło, who presented the Visegrád Group's plan to renovate the EU, announced that the community's reforms were under way and came away with the view that that the EU officials and guests in attendance were agreeable. The proposals are to be translated into a road-map to be presented at the March EU summit in Rome. But Szydło maybe underestimating the guile of Old Europe's 's crafty politicos who may tone down their rhetoric without forsaking their dreams of a BBB -- Bureaucratic Brussels Behemoth. At the V4 summit German Chancellor Merkel prevailed upon the gathering to change their resolution to read "uncontrolled refugee traffic" rather than the original term "chaos" describing the results of her blanket invite to refugees.

USA is Nazi police state

Ever been there? Don't believe the anti-American propaganda by jealous wannabes regretting they were not born in "the home of the brave and the land of the free".

Too bad Truman didn't give Gen. Patton the go-ahead to march on the USSR and roll the Rooskeis back to the Urals where they belong. The Polish occupation zoen of Germany should have stretched all the way to the Elbe.

volunteer to prosecute dissidents

Still no proof other than someone working or in training somewhere. To back up your blanket accusation you need a reliable source saying something like: Kaczyński was told when he applied that the job may involve prosecuting anti-communist dissidents and other enemies of the regime and he told his employer: "No problem!"

The bottom line is that no-one suffered at Kaczyński's hands, whilst Mazowiecki was serving a regime that constantly harassed Catholics and clergy, denied passports for bishops to travel to Rome and had a whole barrel of nasty tricks up their sleeve.

But if someone dislikes Albanians or Norwegians, is he racist? Both those nations are Caucasian. True to form, the finger-pointing PC have redefined racism to apply to any ethnic antagonism.

What's wrong with turmeric

Nothing wrong per se in fact it has great health-promoting properties, but just ain't my cuppa. Whether in sour-tasting, yucky-yellow standard American mustard and curry dishes or now added to poultry seasoning also in Poland -- it turns me off. The Mrs sometimes gets a rotisserie-roasted chicken and I can always tell whether they used commercial poultry season on it.Do you like every imaginable type of taste and food?

I'll eat most any food of different cultures, duck-blood soup, bfrawn, blood sausage, raw fish, tripe, even tried chocoalate-covered ants (a crunchy sweet!), so I'm hardly the finnicky eater or the meat & potatoes type of person.

News / Petru wants Tadeusz Mazowiecki monument in Warsaw [25]

Ryszard Petru, leader of the fringe Nowoczesna party, has proposed a campaign to build a monument to Tadeusz Mazoweicki, billed as "Poland's first non-communist post-war prime minister." According to Petru, such a project should receive general support and help de-polarise Polish society.

Apparently, Petru doens't know his history, because Mazowiecki is also remembered as a communist collaborator, and in the Stalin era no less.

Mazowiecki offered his support to the Communist authorities, expressed in press articles and other publications. In 1952, he published a pamphlet titled The enemy remains the same (Wróg pozostał ten sam, co-authored with Zygmunt Przetakiewicz, then editor-in-chief of WTK*) imputing an alliance between Polish anti-communist resistance movement and Nazi war criminals. In a press article published in WTK in 1953, Mazowiecki fiercely condemned Czesław Kaczmarek, then Bishop of Kielce. Kaczmarek, groundlessly accused by the Communists of being an American and Vatican spy, was later sentenced to 12 years in prison.

during the Vatican II period he and another collaborator Wielowiejski were sent to Rome to snitch on Cardinal Wyszyński. Hardly someone that will bring Poles together!

Another example is the Black Miss America contest. If someone launched a White Miss America pageant they would immediately be labelled as racist.

News / Poland's election winning party: PIS proclamations [229]

planning or have already implemented

Here is a partial list of what has been accomplisehd and is being planned:
1) The Family 500+ program providing a 500 zł ($129) monthly child allowance to age 18 to counteract the country's depopulation and encourage procreation;
2) Lowering retirement age to 60 for women and 65 for men which the previous government had raised to 67;
3) Raising the tax-free base to 8000 zł (about $2,050) a year
4) Providing free medicine for over those 75 and over;
5) Increasing the minimum wage to 12 zł/($3.07) an hour;
6) A special retail tax on large, mainly foreign-owned supermarkets and discount chains to give smaller Polish-family-owned businesses a fighting chance;
7) A plan to re-Polonize (buy back) former Polish banks often hastily sold to foreign financial institutions;
8) The Morawiecki Plan to create Poland's own indigenous entrepreneurial class and industrial base;
9) Tough anti-terrorist and law-enforcement legislation which may have contributed to NATO's trouble-free Warsaw Summit and safe World Youth Days with Pope Francis;
10) A drop in unemployment to 8.6%, the country's lowest level since the compilation of such data started in 1992.
11) Reduction of poverty and redistribution of wealth, largely attributable, according to the World Bank, to the Family 500+ program;
12) Plans have been annoiucned to reform the judiciary so judges cannot palce themselves above the law.
13) More emphasis on Polish history and culture in the public media and school curricula and state subsidies for cultural projects promoting Poland's cultural heritage.

PIS

First of all it's PiS, not PIS, unless your keyboard lacks a lower-case letter "i"!
Hardly a day goes by that some new good change is not annoucned. That dauntless crusader for human justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, recently announced plands to reform the judiciary. They have become a state within a state and regard themselves as being above the law. One of the resentful judges at Rzepliński's hate session last week arrogantly declared: "I am a judge and cannot be prosecuted!"

But before the entire judiciary can be proeprly overhauled, the Constitutional Tribunal dispute must first be resolved, Ziobro added. And more power to him!
