For those of you who took the bait, but are too lazy to click on the link, the presidents of these cities are the only cases of dissension against the disgusting racist comments towards refugees by the PIS scum, and they promise to do all they can to facilitate a better life for refugees in those three cities, and have signed a three-city admonishment of the government policy.

So with the mob running riot, these three presidents will be picking up their P45s/unemployment papers in 2 years - but I'll be happy to pick up their restaurant bill when they're in my neck of the woods. Full on respect for fellow human beings.

True Polish patriots are ashamed of the racist filth regarding refugees that PIS and the unwashed Polish masses come out with.

More like private security firms........ and they have pretty vicious dogs. And don't even think of going on disused army land. I strayed onto that at Ustka on the Baltic and the following rumpus nearly started a full on NATO attack:)

Stay at home and play Counterstrike is my advice.

Very sorry indeed to hear of Avalon's passing. I for one might not have shared his views on PF, but that is irrelevant. None of us know each other, but there must be some sort of connection there along the way. My sincere condolences to the OP and anyone else here who intimately knew Glen.

But old Europe can lecture Poland Polonius - that's the point. Poland is ungrateful for what it has received. Szydlo is painfully clueless. Read what Princeton University professor Jan Tomasz Gross has to say about the refugee crisis and how Poland has embarrassed it's people by doing the square root of squat to help, if you are interested in what the academics think.

Sorry Delph, don't agree. I am not saying I wanted the result that there was, but it was only ever a romantic pipe dream. There was a late surge of romance, but it wasn't sustainable in my view.

I don't think the same could be said for Brit expats in Poland, some of them say they have been here twenty years but they cannot string a sentence of Polish together no B1 pass for them.

My two penny is that driving in Poland is generally more draining than in US, Canada or UK.

I have bad news for you Sylvio.

If you spend as long in Poland as I have, you will not only become attuned to their appalling driving - but start mirroring their dangerous practices yourself.

Poles ( just like that joker ex-Formula 1 driver of theirs) believe that speed is a laugh, as communism deprived them of that "adrenaline rush" that the rest of the world so enjoyed.

Do you seriously think that these 76 pages here are a joke? Look at any Polish newspaper site. The same many pages stand.

When PO were in power, things got done. We never heard about "Tusk this", and "Tusk that...." because deals were being made, schools were being built, roads were being constructed, and jobs were being won.

Because both the UNHCR and the UN Peacekeeping Force reported that in their view ethnic cleansing was a real probability; that's why.

Please don't patronise us Crow. Those of us who cared for the Balkan people and donated know those facts. One of which is, this criminal wanted to brave out NATO' s 3 day bombing, and carry on the cleansing of Kosovo, but was outvoted. The man is guilty by association and todays' verdict is a grave error.
