History / What do Poles owe to Russians? [193]

When you think that a lot of deeds are done at the intergovernmental level, unsanctioned by the populace at large, then how can you talk of indebtedness? What should my wife owe to that distant Russian housewife in Novosibirk or that farmer in Omsk? If favours are done then favours are done but debt repayment is a contract and many Poles don't have such a thing with many Russians, period!

History / How do Poles feel about 10th anniversary of 9/11 [40]

Many people came out of the woodwork to write books, become 'correspondents' and others just to sell arms. It was a huge moneyspinner for many individuals so why should Poles become embroiled in all that shameless capitalism? Many Poles are above that BS!

True, rock. It was on the table as the PNAC blueprint in 1996 but I'm not going to go into that here. RIP. Try to imagine jumping from the 110th floor. Yikes!

As will be apparent from numerous threads, I deplore the loss of innocent life and I'm sure considerate Poles feel the same way. The globalists wanted the symbolism of it all to serve as a pretext but humanists can only pour scorn on that. Rightly so!

Love / POLISH GIRLFRIEND WONT PAY HER WAY [127]

The third world part was below the belt too. It is direct evidence of either a complex or an insulting character.

Exactly, ZIMMY. I think she thinks she sent one glory post and can bow out but she just showed her capacity to generalise and not much else. All people are born equal but some are more equal than others ;0 ;)

Fair point, rozum. I just can't stand what I call matchbox or magazine thinkers. I don't read that 'advice' as I find it to be hopelessly textbook garbage and one size fits all. Life is complicated and our behaviour isn't always logical. Simplifying things away with 'facts' is to deny the whole picture or, as you said, to assume that some know better. I don't profess to have the wealth of knowledge on anything but I know love when I feel it and I've been a loving person for as long as I can remember. I care not for Kelloggs cornflakes packet wisdom.

Imelda Marcos?

Cornish pasties, nice :) Nah, I don't think you were that offended. What did I write that was so bad or inaccurate?

I just don't like people who, in their cushy lives, can't see that others have it differently. No names mentioned here.

Many things are valid to a point as I'm not a black&white thinker, rozum. However, I know the truth of my situation and I won't get embroiled in petty generalisations as it's for more limited thinkers.

Love / POLISH GIRLFRIEND WONT PAY HER WAY [127]

I chose Poland as my workplace first and foremost. The contact with women came later. My wife and I are highly compatible and that is the most important thing. Not all the waffle you gibbered on about, Turb.

1) Couldn't afford a British woman? What utter drivel! How is that a fact at all? What makes you think Polish women are lower maintenance?

2) Materialism wasn't in the contract at all. It snuck in ;)

3) Pay for sex? That's utterly absurd! One of the most ridiculous things I have heard. Sex is mutually enjoyable so remember that.

4) I am not like that at all. I hate that hypocrisy as much as you do. I'm not into labelling people or haven't you heard?

5) If you invite, then yes. You are a sex-obsessed goon, Turbulencja

6) The truth hurts, right?

Sorry to say it but you just can't accept true stories as they don't square with your logic. Offensive verbal generalisations, LOL. Another defensive twat who can't accept any stories which don't show the sun shining out of arses here. Get a life!

News / Polish Students Striking in Lithuania [80]

The dispute is more territorial than one of religion, Crow. As you know, they had a Commonwealth which worked well for some time before inevitable rifts appeared. It's also about the right to use your language version of your name.

News / Prime Minister in Krynica on European integration [53]

I can't agree with your second statement, Crow. There are plenty of Russian patriots that have no knowledge or experience of business. Only a select few get truly rich in Russia and they love money, not their land so much.

As for Tusk being in Krynica, I don't think he knows what he is getting himself in for. He has joined the discussions at a very late stage and the ball has been rolling for a long time. He is a bishop at best but he'll be made to feel like a pawn. Enjoy the champagne and caviar, Donald, as that's all you'll take from the meeting.

But Putin sympathises with Germans and even speaks their language fluently, Crow. Remember, he is a businessman first and foremost but also a Russian patriot. He could have plenty conflicts of interest. He likes Serbs, esp Serbian bikers ;)

He might see Serbian-Polish ties as undermining Russia's stronghold over your country. Anyway, to be continued :) :) Dobrej nocy :)

So, what guarantees can Serbs offer Poles?

Crow, politicians are Slavs by default only.

These two are natural Slavs who share common heritage. Fedor was born in Ukraine and Igor Vovchanchyn is Ukrainian. Fedor speaks Russian and a little Ukrainian but I'm sure they understood each other. Can you say the same about politicians? They speak the language of greed and power.

nice video. The Japanese guy is saying that Igor isn't drinking much. Best not start that with vodka-drinking Slavs, LOL.

Then you clearly envisage sth. Where do you see the fractious split with the EU coming about, Crow? What will tip them over? Do you feel that the federalists in Europe will get ahead of themselves and thrust unreasonable demands on Poland? Will it be a balance of power issue? NATO has accepted that Poland won't be lunging into Libya in an official capacity. What will change NATO's stance?
