UK, Ireland / Why English do not like Polish? [417]

Now, shouldn't you according to your logic just up sticks and move out cause same part of the population doesn't really welcome your presence?

Er...if you want to pedantic about it, and you clearly do..........

The EU wave Poles in the UK who are racist should be thinking about which peoples were there first - and who has contributed the most...

Then grovel and apologise for their low-life ignorance of other races and creeds.

Well, your law doesn't reflect that.

But it does. Naturalisation. The secret is in the word "Natural."

many Brits believe that being born in the country doesn't make you automatically British

As regards ANYBODY who was born and raised in the UK to adulthood - I DO. My British friends do. Don't speak for us, but for those clowns with their Union Jacks flying in their cobbled front drive way, the very people who have built their businesses by employing immigrant labour, whether it be Caribbeans, Asians, Poles, whoever.

Nationalist = bad. Patriot good.

Many are racist towards British BORN Asian and black people. They believe they have a greater right to live in the UK by virtue of their colour.

Yep - noticed that. You don't need to concern yourself with them, for they are low-life.

Life / Reaction regarding Pakistanis respected in Poland [54]

Expect then not to socialise with Polish people

Funny that. I wouldn't blame them one iota.

I don't "socialise" with Polish people who are racist either...... in fact most anybody who is, including the London Metropolitan police.
But I do have a good laugh and a chin with the two Syrian lads who sell tat in Gdynia market.

So after your holiday from PF you come back spouting nonsense Dolno? :)) Waht si this "Sharia Law"? the tedious old chesnut.

Can I have some of what you've been clearly having? Wroclaw or Warsaw 'safer" than London?

People need to remember that Warsaw was a hotbed of corruption just a small matter of 30 years ago, and to set up a respected leading Stock Exchange as the Poles have, in such a relatively short time, is miraculous. But safer than London?

Chortle.

On paper Khan sounds just the ticket. Absolutely grand. A slap for Cameron and Tory rip-off Britain.
Go London - the greatest city in the world!

Sensible Poles will sit up and take notes on what might be possible to achieve.

You personafy the 'Yeah but, no but' generation...

Sorry - I'm old. I don't get you? Could you expand?

Zac Goldsmith is obviously a likeable chap - the voters in Richmond are not fools. I went to university there, and it were grand. I had a summer job delivering laundry, and his dad was a tool :))

Somehow I doubt that

Fighting is for schoolboys.
The only real fights I have been in during my 23 years here have been:

An altercation in a petrol forecourt. A guy swung at me so I knocked him spark out and they called the cops:((
On New Years Eve in Kato when a bloke was knocking ten bells out of somebody who was on the floor, so I persuaded him otherwise.....

I have never physically attacked anybody in my life - I learnt early that there's always somebody who would gladly take on the challenge :)

old boy.

Not drunk at all - what makes you say that? What's your problem? Spell it out - you know you want to Mr Nationalist twat.

Not drunk at all

Oh wait - I lie. Just realised I drank a 70 cl bottle of Ballantines in between writing reports and walking the dog. So you are right on this count. My statement that you are obviously (from your Moniker) a nationalist twat, still stands however:)

nobody kicked (as yet) seven shades shytte out of you?

Lol. They've tried. I was even once long ago accused of GBH to my family's shame. Self defence. I used to box for Nottingham schools, and three or four broken noses later I am an ugly bastard, I'll give you that.

I don't avoid taxes actually. It's true, as before - I don't pay ZUS any longer - as I have NO legal requirement to do so - as I do not run a business. I work for AN OTher who pays ZUS for the business. All legal as confirmed by my accountant. Thanks for your concern:)

And how big is your penis? Small, by the sound of it.

not a single reference to the fact the Goldsmiths

The Goldsmiths are beyond the pale - that is why.

To misquote Oscar Wilde: " The unspeakable................"

superiority complex

I have no superiority complex - but reserve the right :))

your supremacist ideology

What? Supremacist? You mean surely that Poles are above all others - that I should treat a Syrian differently maybe?

There are two Syrians with a stall in the market where I live. They sell electronic goods/ tools/ light bulbs/etc. If their stuff is OK and cheap, I will sometimes buy from them, because they are loud, and smile.

A lot of Polish stall holders are the same, loud and they smile. I don't favour one over the other. Shopping is done on a whim.

What is supremacist about that?

You need to have a dictionary at your side. The word supremacist refers to supposed superiority. And that is what you nationalist scum believe in. Do I make myself clear?

if you are allowed to stay here don't you think

Shall we do a swop? Send the million Poles back? Or the Poles who the West Germans took in, in communist times?

You need to wash your mouth out and stop being so proud. Nobody else is being so nationalistic but you Poles. You are making prize fecks of yourselves and you ain't big enough in a real fight.

Go back to your Command and Conquer Playstation game and stop being a twat.

Boris gave planning permission to a lot of skyscrapers, dealt with the Underground and set up a bike hire and bike lane scheme.

In reality, the mayor is a token position.

Not true. In any shape or form

I lived in London for ten years. The then mayor, Ken livingstone, had the power to dramatically cut Tube and bus fares and remove fees for museums etc, as well as fund social care such as creches and childcare. Are you telling me that those (highly controversial) policies didn't matter?

We know that Polish politicians whimper and prevaricate. The London mayor ACTS - on policies that the population dictate. Policies that make life better for the population.

It's not that we are inherently racist it's simply that until now there was nearly zero minorities in Poland and those that existed were white(except gypsies) so it's understandable that many poles act with aggression at the prospect that it may change.

Sensible comment - but that comfort needs challenging. Poland is not a closed country any more and has embraced freedom. That freedom comes with responsibility and accountability as every person will well know.

It's called the normal world, and not an elitist criminal cocoon for 10 percent of the population.

PS After 27 years, people have got the knack of making money quickly, so they have absolutely no excuse when it comes to acting decently towards their fellow human being.

In my view.

I would be very interested to see what was the turnout in that election

What? You are happy with the Poles' apathy and with the ridiculously populist result that you like, but you call the London result into question?

Double standards methinks.

MATEUSZ

So Mods - you have been moving my posts all evening.

I challenge you to move this shout. Go on! You know you want to!

The police shoot people who refuse to drop their weapons

Adrian - you did not have to write your usual 40 lines.

And the boy who was driving his fathers' car while (mildly) drunk last year? Why was he shot?

Why was that coloured gentleman shot in the park?

Why were students murdered at Kent State etc etc etc. ?

Do not generalise please. Keep your guns. I will always make damn sure that my daughter is safe and hopefully well away from America. If a US cop shot her for reaching for her bag I would pay somebody handsomely to go nuclear. Is that religious enough for you?

Why so much paranoia?

Because the thinking man can now deduct from the last year or so that Poles are inherently racist -sad to say. It has removed some of the gloss of living here, but we survive:)

I thought that was well worthy of a new thread Admin.

After all - people can't see the wood for the trees:)))

Maybe you don't want a better Poland so see fit to subjectively reduce the opinion to fit the editorial of your forum.

Nah, one or two token Muslims in prominent positions tell you absolution nothing

London mayor is not a token position. You are a clown. Can you read newspapers?

Idiot.

Merged: KHAN - London mayor - PIS take note

The free world ain't gonna stand for your xenophobia anymore Warsaw - London has spoken with the election of a Muslim mayor..

Now - if you want to compete at all with London and Frankfurt and the Big Boys - it's time for Polish business to stand up - and say - Equal Opportunities for all - EU law will be followed - and racism will not be tolerated in the workplace on ANY level - and to pressurise PIS into following its obligations to take in the 7000 refugees and backtrack the Prime ministers' callous remarks on the same.

Time to act - now!

This impacted me personally as my aunt worked for a hotel in Dortmund for 10 years and suddenly she was out of work because the government appropriated the hotel and turned it into a migrant housing

**** me. How many times do you have to repeat this story? Your aunt was employed, and lost her job. Can't she find another? Nobody is owed a living, even if she got too used to communism obviously.

your British LBGT dictatorship back to your multicultural paradise in UK.

No. I live here in Poland. I have a voice. I have contributed a lot. So I will continue to agitate and despise those who are overtly racist.

If I have your permission, of course?
