Nobody has criticised his politics, just his skin colour, some in the guise of his nationality.


Painting him as a criminal (by being black) who is opening the flood gates and therefore should not be allowed in to Poland, let alone do anything productive...

If he came here, didn't speak Polish, didn't integrate and became a menace to society, he's bad and should be sent back to Africa.

If he integrates, learns Polish and customs and gets votes from Polish people.... he is still bad and should be sent back to Africa.

This is not America and as far as I am aware Polish people do not have anything to feel racially guilty for.

You should also check what the city will do for them.
I am not 100% about this so please get them to check it out properly before committing but there is a law that listed buildings can not fall in to ruin and if the owners put in 10% of the cost of refurbishment the city will give 90% interest free or something like that.

But as I said, please find out about it in case I got it wrong.

Recently a building was taken off owners by the council in Krakow for not being maintained.

I think anyone who has ever legally represented someone here has had problems with POAs, simply because we have a different system and employ lawyers to do what we should get Notaries to do.

It's difficult to give any advice without knowing the full circumstances.

I have had many problems in the past with POAs.

Did the Notary tell the daughter why her POA did not work?

Their Daughter could try a different notary, that works sometimes as the Notary's butt is on the line if anything goes wrong and some are too cautious.

Tell her to go to as many different Notaries as possible and see if they will except it before organising the sale with the buyer.

I don't know how much you know about how things work here, so excuse me if you already know.
But lawyers here aren't anything like in Ireland, they are basically pen pushers and legal representatives, the people with the almighty power of the stamp for any paperwork are the Notaries but they are also to blame if anything goes wrong. In the future, get the notary to make up the POA and then they will have to except it.

Normally they would have signed a contract with the lawyer before he made any actions, check there first.
Remember to keep all receipts of flights, hotels etc.. to show what the losses are.

Remember last year 350,000 people in Małopolska lost their electricity in the dead of winter.
It was a real catastrophe, like a third world country.

A lot of the problem seems to stem from People not wanting to have power cables running through their plot.
During communism, the state could pretty do what it wanted and now they have the option many people say "No" to underground cables running on their plot.

I have been told that some are afraid that they won't be able to build in the future and others are just miserable and say no to everything, and others want money.

The law has to change, like it did with the accusation of land to build the international motorways that they are building all over the country.

Someone sayiing no to an underground cable that will not effect them in anyway is unacceptable compared to thousands not having electricity mid winter.

The needs of the many do out way the needs of the few in this instance.

Last night the electricity went in the house.
My gas combi boiler can not function without electricity.
My thermometer gave up at minus 20 and broke.
So thank goodness for my fire place, I only installed it because I like looking at a fire.
I didn't realise it would be my life line, without it I would have had to abandon the house and spend the night in a hotel.

The snow builds up in the electric cables, freezes and pulls them down under their weight.

On the other hand, the air is crisp and fresh, all the bacteria is dead and it really looks beautiful.

It has warmed up to minus 1 now (never thought I'd say that:)
