no. they look the same in places, as if the same builders were in town, but there is so much more in berlin and the atmosphere is completely different.
if they are all the same you have just saved me a boring trip :p

they were cleaned up for the Popes visit in 1997. all the paint and colours have to be approved. they are very strict in that part of town.
In my day they were dirty and grey.

extra info: the tram is a number 6. this type of tram only uses this route. also, the building is number 1, plac bema and home to google among others.
the bottom picture shows the only building on wyspa slodowa. a little noisy when there is a concert on the island, but those who live there get free tickets.
because i know exactly where u stood, it's like i can walk in your footsteps.
PS. Wrocław, there are a few photos above which you probably haven`t seen.

if the bike had a fixed wheel it might be easier to control. the bike in the second picture (above) doesn't seem to have one though.

u are all going to think i'm as mad as a hatter with this.
i have started to notice bikes, which seem to have one frame on top of another. the rider is then above car roof height.
has anyone else seen these. or is it just someone in wroclaw having fun with a welding kit.

why can't you just buy this part. and risk your friend (with your money) buy the other part.
you must be able to come to some sort of arrangement. offer a couple of favours to the land owner.

the second/lower picture is the old mamut bread factory... showing WWII damage. i have similar photos of the same building. it closed a couple of years ago and i believe will be saved from demolition.
it's opposite the botanical gardens
