@TheOther

Better than buying from a militaristic adversary imo. Hell even Iran Saudi Arabia Nigeria etc would all be better choices for gas and oil. Libya is now getting a good chunk of its production back online hence the recent drop. Personally idc what germany does. I have my memories and photos of when germany was still german and not germanistan. Merkel has committed seppuku on behalf of every german citizen and taxpayer already and is now doing damage control after 2 going on 3 years of nonstop flooding of migrants and all the problems that came with it. Even her own cabinet and party are starting to turn more anti migrant because they see its what the people want and the reasons for afd success. And it's sad because I have family in Germany and the country simply doesn't look the same. There's more teenage mutant ninja Muslims than fair skinned german girls. There were a lot of Turks already in Dortmund but this is simply now a deluge. The females won't even go to the pool anymore because they get pinched and groped by middle eastern dudes who think it's a totally appropriate way to pick up girls. Even the African migrants realize that's not okay and they atleast show some respect and gratitude for their host nation. I guess they didn't get the government pamphlets that explain sexual assault is not okay and just because a girl is sitting next to you on the tram or bus doesn't mean she wants to **** you.

@Bratwurst Boy

Same ****. Either way germany is buying a key resource from an adversary. On one hand Merkel Macron and all the leftists whine about human rights, treatment of gays, hacking etc all while filling their coffers so they can continue such activities - and have even more leverage over them. That's why putin is a proper leader who despite being at a disadvantage uses everything at his disposal to gain an edge over others. He wins by bluffing with a pair of deuces against players folding with a full house.

@Crow
Poland is not going to buy Russian gas, even if it's been relabeled as Serbian. And actually most of the polish apples and other food products go to Belarus then Russia. Poland will first use what it has at it's disposal - coal and gradually shift to other energy sources but Russian gas or oil isn't going to be one of those. Not in any significant amounts anyway. Right now Polands best partners are the v4 especially Hungary and USA. Poland tolerates western Europe and sees the advantage of trade, free movement, better paying jobs, etc but for historical reasons and due to the EUs constant interference in domestic affairs and trying to tell us how to run our country Poland will not have a good political relationship with the eu leaders. Economic yes as it's mutually beneficial, but not politically and not militarily. Poland knows that countries like France germany etc would not come.to their aid in a war if anyone did itd be the us.

There won't. That's what the EU is for...

You mean nato, not eu. And it's only thanks to the us that war between Russia and NATO likely won't break out. Never say never though. Most Americans never thought the japs would bomb pearl harbor or that muslims would fly planes into twin towers or even that Trump would beat Hillary yet they happened.. if everyone was so certain there'd never be a war between NATO and Russia they wouldn't be reciprocating with deployments, exercises, etc. And it's only thanks to the us being the key figure in NATO that Russia won't totally steamroll the eu. The eu doesn't stand a chance against Russia and even generals who have far more.military knowledge than you and I say that Russia would pwn Europe and totally occupy the Baltics within a day. No one expected Russia to annex crimea or have a war with Ukraine yet it happened. And no one in the eu or nato did anything significant to help. Why? Because they're all scared of the Russian bear and putin. Plus they just want their cheap gas and are willing to.sacrifice Ukraine to get it apparently

I find it so ironic that a person who criticizes putin amd russia for being autocratic is now defending merkels purchasing of gas from that very person/country and hence enriching that same autocratic leader and country you'd otherwise criticize. Just like merkel... you're willing to forget the autocratic tendencies, subversion of elections, hacking, hybrid wars, human rights violations etc for cheaper oil. Atleast you, merkel macron etc could be consistent and either stand up for your criticisms of an autocratic individual and the nation they rule instead of filling their coffers so they can keep launching cyber attacks, keep the low intensity conflicts simmering, keep meddling in elections etc. As long as you get cheap oil...

Germany paying for their russian gas instead of invading Russia and trying to steal it is a lesson well learnt, don't you think?

No because in both cases they are still procuring one of the most important and sensitive resources from a country that is supposedly an adversary. Only difference is matter of procurement. And in fact Hitler's method of just stealing the oil makes far more sense as only a fool would willingly build pipelines so that their adversary can continue to regularly receive tens of billions - all while giving total control of the spigot to the adversary.

Which security concerns?

You really have to ask? Oil is probably the most important raw material for a country and is totally crucial in a war. Russia could shut off gas to germany and hence all other w European countries should their be a conflict or jack up their rates like crazy for any reason or no reason at all. Then germany would be sol. And with this pipeline they're totally captive to Russia and putin. Thank goodness Poland hasn't fallen for this lunacy. Atleast we poles have some self respect and don't build pipelines to our adversaries and give them billions which they then use to launch hybrid wars, subversion tactics, cyber attacks, etc with. It's better to pay a little more than have arguably one of the most important raw.materials coming from your main adversary.

Thatd be like Israels Netanyahu and Iran's ayatollah going on tv and proclaiming they're building a pipeline from Iran to Israel all while remaining adversaries. Which actually they have such a pipeline but they don't talk about it because the Israelis realize how stupid this makes them look running pipelines and buying oil from their biggest adversary. It's an israeli state secret that basically has a ban on discussing it.

May I ask what "having balls" means to you?
@ Bratwurst Boy

Defending your country, putting your citizens and taxpayers first - and not able bodied economic migrants looking for a handout, not being A giant pussy that's too scared to say something because it might offend a few snowflakes, just generally not being A soy boy beta cuck. Being the opposite of antifa members, justin trudaeu, Macron or prince harry who married high mileage ho' s, basically being a man - a real man not the soy boy excuses for men who require safe spaces, trigger warnings and get offended at every little thing, men who stand up for their beliefs - Bog Honor Ojczyzna for example, don't make apologies for being normal hetero people, being athletic and olding your own in a fight like putin who's a judo black belt, making money to provide for your family, making your woman's toes curl and willing to give your life for your beliefs and loved ones. That's what a real man is about and quite sadly there's less and less real men and more and more beta soy boys. It's a great time to be a sexy confident woman that's for sure. Men have become such giant pussies that even the average 20 30 year old.western man's testosterone counts are equal to 80 years old. Such men could never be strong leaders - they don't habe the testosterone to be a man much less a leader.

News / Officials in Poland are hailing an upcoming visit by Donald Trump [720]

Poland is increasingly choosing sovereignty, independence and looking to the v4 and 3 seas partners for the future. The eu namely the w european countries have offended poles far too many times and they're sick of hearing bullsh1t on how we should run our own country or creeps like verhofstadt saying 60k Nazis marched in Warsaw. Stuff like that is deeply offensive to poles old and young. Poles never imagined that the eu would exert so much political influence and stick their nose into our affairs. Well this wasn't the case when pl first joined the eu. Now the socialists in the eu habe revealed their true colors and while poles don't want to leave the eu, they certainly won't allow a foreign capital to dictate how we should form our courts or what kind of immigrants to take into our country. That is OUR decision - not the EUs. We never signed up for anything that would require us to take in migrants quotas or have democratically elected partisan and individuals being scorned for carrying out campaign promises. It's not just Poland who feels this way either. Now you have a whole block of countries that are refusing to keep toeing the ever more Marxist eu line. And the socialists in the eu hate it - the European swamp is slowly being drained. The leftists know it too - they know that now they have to compromise if they wish to keep the eu and their leftist parties going. Even Merkel realized that and was forced to negotiate. The eu is in crisis management mode now and has been for atlesdt a few years... And it's only going to get more difficult for them to keep pushing their Marxist bullsh1t.

Also duda is in a way just a figurehead. Kaczynski and morawiecki hold the real power.

News / Officials in Poland are hailing an upcoming visit by Donald Trump [720]

Crow, Poland has always been between a rock and a hard place - Russia and germany. I can tell you this though, polish people in general trust today's germany far more than today's Russia. The treatment of poles from the pl Soviet war to ww2 to prl years won't be suddenly forgotten. It'll be like 2 3 generations before relationships between Poland and Russia are even neutral at best let alone friendly. And Russia causing problems in Ukraine and Estonia isn't helping. As much as I hate seeing Slavic brothers and sisters hating each other, killing each other rhat is the reality. Even if poles had some sort of like polish Russian friendship and cooperation agreement itd be investigated nonstop by the security services and one mis step could land a pole in prison.

However among youth there is a lot of cooperation and friendship between poles and Russians. In a way greater even than polish youth and ukranians. Poles and Russian hools, mma and contact sport types, bikers and even nationalists have a lot of respect for each other.

It is getting harder to tell which polish and Ukrainian nationalist groups and individuals ghough are legit and grassroot and which/who is actually handled by the Kremlin and is acting as an agent provocateur. Generally it's the newer groups who suddenly have a ton of funding and carry out attacks, arsons, etc for no good reasons or purpose - the useful idiots

They all expect their share of gas through this pipeline. Merkel doesn't rule over them.

Yes with germany as the distributor for the other countries. While Merkel obviously does not rule over them she absolutely has the power as chancellor to shut down the project citing security concerns. However Russia and putin are simultaneously friend and foe, partner and rival for Merkel as well as w European nato countries like.france. should a war ever break out

That's how germany got screwed over in ww2 - precarious access to gas and oil. That'd be like if Hitler was buying oil from Stalin while invading Soviet union or Soviet union invading germany. Guess they didn't learn their lesson... key commodities especially oil should not be imported from states that are seen as adversaries. France too complains about election meddling but has no issue with buying oil from Russia from which revenues will undoubtedly make their way to the gru and state hackers. They're literally funding the russian hacking campaigns theyre getting their panties in a twist about rofl.

Not Poland though. That's why they're now diversifying. It's a matter of principle, self respect and security not to buy such a crucial resource from an adversary and allowing them to hang that over our head. But germany and France are too cucked so they don't really care.

So seriously, as a Trumpist I would think twice criticizing others regarding the treatment of autocrats and dictators!

I don't criticize autocrats and dictators, rather I point out the hypocrisy of Merkel and Macron supposedly being all pro democracy, human rights and against autocrats, authoritarianism etc except they'll criticize putin for hacking and human rights and all the other b.s. while still seeking his partnership for a pipeline.

I like putin and respect him since he has more balls than any other leader on the planet. Obran Erdogan dutuerte and trump are legit too. It takes a strong person to lead a nation that wants respect on the world stage - not some soy boy like trudaeu who's better off managing gay pride parades than leading Canada. Putin has managed to bluff his way with a pair of deuces to become the key power broker in Syria and now even has w Europe by the balls via oil. His country has a gdp equal to texas yet no one ***** with putin or russia - even all of nato is scared of him. That dude is a master machiavellian. I mean putin is getting the French and others to pay for Russia's cyber war, election meddling, espionage etc against them lolololol. Dudes a total boss. As much as I like Trump (aside from his Zionist ass kissing) he's no match for putin.

Nord Stream is not her decision

Rofl that's rich. Except Merkel herself said nord stream is 'political

Germany isn't an autocratic dictatorship

No but she sure doesn't mind cozying up to the same autocrats she claims to abhor when it suits her. If it wasn't for commander Trump people wouldn't even be questioning nord stream 2 today even though it's been in the works for years. Hopefully germany is sanctioned or even kicked out of NATO should they not meet the 2% and continue with nord stream. Indeed some congressmen are already discussing this.

thelocal.de/20180519/putin-and-merkel-defend-nord-stream-pipeline

Is there anything going on in Europe you don't blame Merkel for?

No just the migrant crisis which has snowballed into numerous other problems such as a drastic increase in rapes, terrorism, financial burden, no go zones and a general degradation of

But in a way I should thank her. Thanks to her we can do this she's caused the eu to be divided more than ever and has allowed Poland to form stronger bonds with other v4 countries and those who also don't want to take in migrants.

Indeed it is unfortunate she is such a poor negotiator and something as simple as putin bringing his dog around her throws her off. Even the fish he sent to merkel went way over her head.

Merkel only sucks up to putin when she wants cheaper gas and oil for germany. That's why shes giving nord stream 2 a go so germany can be even more beholden to Russian oil. Good for Russia and putin

And I'm not accusing her of being an autocrat. I'm accusing her of committing seppuku on behalf of native Germans and taxpayers which then affects the rest of Europe. The timeline of her preciousness went from we must help refugees due to our history, to people.realizing the vast majority aren't legit refugees so she then exclaimed we can do this, Islam belongs in Germany and it'll enrich our culture, then Germans started not being so fond of migrants after a thousand women were groped on Nye and then as afd gains seats she then says other countries must take in their share of the BURDEN and admitting that no go zones are real

Join the modern world, where borders are only a common hallucination...

No borders no country. Maybe that's the game Merkel and her fellow autocrats play to speed up the genocide/replacement of European natives, but most people recognize borders. And thanks to merkels we can do this policies the free movement of schengen is threatened like never before. Even European politicians including Germany's interior minister are beginning to demand border control thanks to merkels burden.

Some became rich not all of course and a lot of other people in the commie party and those who had capital or access to a lot of it made off well. Work / Job Relocation to Lodz from Mexico [4]

You're correct in your assement. You'll make a bit more than the average Polish city dweller. You will be able to afford a half decent place for around 2500. Or get a bigger one and get a roommate till you move up in your career. Lodz isn't all that nice though honestly theres far nicer polish cities but its pretty big and cheaper then Warsaw Krakow. Lot of historic areas and lots of Jews. You'll live comfortably and be able to afford most things including travel but you probably won't save much especially as a young man with a wife and no kids

Right now jobs in IT and management, finance etc type jobs are in big demand and pay very high. 10k 12,15, even as high as 20k+.

Good luck and enjoy Poland man. You will have a good time there and you'll actually pick up Polish pretty quickly. Polish is pronounced almost exactly as Spanish.

In some European countries saying the wrong thing can easily land you in jail, if not thousands in fines. Several people found that out the hard way. It's quite sad how countries who consider themselves to be the apex of culture sophistication freedom and all that **** are literally punishing political opinions and social media posts. And like usual, the far left pushed for this crap but it doesn't matter it won't affect them. A guy can wave Islamic state flags or al Qaeda or whatever other jihadi flags and not be punished at all. But God forbid someone waves a Nazi flag - instant arrest for waving a piece of cloth.... Oh and forget about criticizing the migrant crisis or pointing out the FACT that the vast majority of rapes, child grooming, sexual assault, etc are from migrants.

Really? Poland trusts the US?

Definitely. That's why Poland (it's citizen and the government who they democratically elected) trust Trump and the us to protect them in case of a war and not France, UK, germany etc. They're not asking any brits or Germans to establish a base. That's because Poland has already been backstabbed twice by w Europe- once when England refused to honors it's mutual.defense treaty in 1939 and again at Yalta and related summits which gave Poland up.to the Soviets will we overthrew them ourselves and made the first domino fall.

Thankfully the rest of Poland has so many intelligent people to defend their pro Trump feelings on this message

Poles in general like Trump. It's only the old people in the KOD camp that don't. The youth is more nationalistic and conservative than ever. The whole population is and you can see that from the rejection of merkels burdenous migrants to the rejection of gay marriage to the fact that pis, probably the closest Trump ally in Europe atm, consistently has 2 to 3x the support of 2md place (aka last place in politics) p.o.. We came here with a few hundred to our name and lived in an infested apartment. Our first pieces of furniture was stuff rich people threw out. Now i live in the same suburb where we use to look for curb side furniture. And today just one of us pays more in taxes than the average American household grosses.

If an immigrant cannot make an income greater than the average (or atleast provide above average skills and contributions to society) they should be deported.

Notice that E Asians, indians and Europeans make well above the average. It's mind boggling how a person can come from a foreign country, not know the language, not know anyone yet within a decade they're making six fig incomes and buying mc mansions. Yet 'minorities' who speak the language, are citizens can't manage to pay their bills without government (taxpayer) assistance. It's pathetic.

Life / Are there any Muslim areas in Poland? [173]

Hmm sure there is more.

No playing musical instruments in public
No being able to sit next to your wife at a soccer game or other event
Having people tell you when to fast and when to eat (ramadumb) and when to pray
Separate shopping hours for men and women
Religious or political satire

Oh and forget ever flirting with the opposite sex basically anywhere

And I'm sure there's more...

But atleast you could have up to 4 wives.... and you can have a few aks and rpgs at home in many Muslim countries without anyone batting an eye. So there are some pros...

you don't have 10 grand, stay the hell away.

That's actually a genius idea. Canada does something similar with Asians expediting their citizenship if they can prove they have a high net worth (I believe it something like a mil or something). We shouldn't allow any migrants unless they have a certain level of education, speak English, have skills that are truly in demand or have a high net worth - preferably all of the above.

That would certainly keep out all the bums and freeloaders. America and western Europe doesn't get immigrants that want to work, assimilate, learn the language etc anymore. They just want to get as much sh1t from the country as possible with the least amount of effort. And quite sadly Merkel especially rewards these freeloaders over Germany's own hard working citizens who have developed a stake in the country over decades.

The whole asylum system is so over abused is ridiculous. It needs to be changed asap. All these people come in seeking asylum from countries that aren't even at war esp. It's the same **** in Europe as us - just bogus asylum seekers from different countries. Their m.o. is the same though- pretend you're homosexual, wanted by drug gangs or the government or otherwise somehow persecuted and hope to slip through the cracks while it takes months, oftentimes years for the government to process your asylum claim. And if they reject it by then you're already in a 3rd country or live in some migrant ghetto/no go zone where the cops don't want to go into anyway.

Study / Study a master degree in Poznan University of Life Science as international student [15]

Poznan is an average university in terms of reputation, maybe a tad higher than average. The best unis tend to be in Warsaw and Krakow.

Personally I think you're better off studying elsewhere, especially a master's in English. Polish universities aren't internationally recognized- certainly poznan uni won't be. If you're going to do a master's in English you're better off doing it in the us, UK or a top European/asian/etc school or even one in central America. The only jobs available to you with a master's in English is going to be teaching, translating and related positions. None of them pay much - you'll be lucky to get a job that pays slightly more than the national average starting out. Most of the good jobs with an English degree are located in the wealthy gulf countries and Asian countries like China Japan Korea etc. In the Asian countries especially China and Korea it's more important to be a good looking white person and a native speaker than having a master's. Unless you plan to stay in Poland and teach, imo getting an English master's from poznan is a waste of time. Even if money isn't your primary motivation you still have to look at the roi and see which countries and schools will give you the best career options.

Law / How /where to recruit workers in Poland? [15]

Few poles living in Poland work construction anymore. Abroad esp in UK and USA a ton of poles work in the field mostly residential and commercial, including myself.

If you wish to recruit good honest construction labor you'd want to mainly target Ukrainians. Tons of recently arrived Ukrainian laborers, skilled electricians plumbers carpenters etc dominate the construction industry. Usually it's a pole running a small business or as a foreman but the majority of the workers are Ukrainian. Unless you're going or offer wages comparable to Usa uk germany etc you wont find good skilled poles. Even Ukrainians that have a lot of skills and are responsible

I can tell you the hardest part of construction isn't getting work. We have more jobs that we can even handle and all of them priced for 30% to even as high as 100% profit depending on the job, time, etc. The hardest part is finding good skilled honest guys

Good luck

Genealogy / Angela Merkel is partially Polish. Her family name could be Kaźmierczak [208]

The us will be dragged into a war if and only if it serves the interest of Zionist lobbies and partners in banking and defense as it has been for decades. That's highly unlikely for Europe- there wouldn't be any profit or any long term benefits for Israel/zionists. Even potential rebuilding and loans wouldnt be monopolized and Poland would be assisted by the eu financially. Much the same reason why us did next to nothing to counter the Russian threat on natos doorstep asife from a few javelins and hummers they dont want anyway because theyre terrible against ieds and mines. Now if Lebanon Iran etc launched a few rockets into Israel, much less launched a ground invasion, oh you'd habe the us flying sorties nonstop and boots on the ground within days.

Perhaps instead of a us base, maybe Poland should just subsidize some Zionist Israeli citizens at the border. If Russia attacks the area and there's even a perceived threat to some israelis, zionists will freak, and when zionists freak there's a war. Could be a great deterrent...

Question is if it'll be cheaper than the 2 billion base housing a division... I doubt it though... many people have found out that whenever you give Zionists a finger they don't want just the arm they want 2 arms and a leg. Obama found that out when he gave Israel 10 billion for free in aid (that we know of and was disclosed) and the Zionists were mad they didnt get way more - both at Obama and their own negotiators

Well in a perfect world Slavic brothers wouldn't be fighting and killing each other. As much as the polish and even to an extent Russian media paints the other as an enemy, average poles and Russians get along fine. Plenty of Russian mcs hools nationalists etc even the most far right welcome poles when they visit and vice versa.

That's what liberals don't get. They think that polish nationalists would be offended if a bunch of Germans marched in Berlin waving Empire flags or that russian nationalists or ukranians seek to retake areas of poland and hate us when that's the furthest thing from the truth and in reality its the opposite. For one, it comes down to respect. You give respect, you get respect. And two the Muslims literally raping and pillaging europe are seen as the enemy along with their socialist enables - not other Europeans.

I don't want a war with Russia not because I care about the us but because I don't want Poland to become totally destroyed because some old dudes in pis are stuck in the martial law days.. different reasons, same goals

And germany wouldn't do **** whether it's 15 seconds 15 mins or 15 years just as they still aren't doing anything significant to help Ukraine 3 4 years on... Neither would UK France etc. Poland has already been betrayed twice by w Europe, that's why they look to the us as their most important defense partner and not another eu country. Poland realizes w Europeans are soft as hell. They can't even repel an invasion of unarmed third worlders and they're suppose to help out an ally facing an invasion from Russia? Yeah right. If all they could do is sanction a few oligarchs in response to an invasion of a friendly country they definitely aren't going to do much more should Poland ever be in an armed conflict, although its unlikely that will happen. That's why Poland is trying to manipulate the us to establishing a permanent division sized base and pay for it to act as a sort of tripwire and get the us embroiled in a conflict should Russia ever kill us troops on polish soil.
