how about Poronin, Koscielisko (close to Zakopane), Szczawnica, Bukowina...?

Its only because, we like 4 hour traffic jams and paying over the top.

funny how with so many great places in the polish Tatras, everybody decides to go to Zakopane which is the most crowded, pain in the a55 place at that time...

What's wrong with a little new American spin on a traditional Polish food?

yeah, keep it in mind... Americans can't even eat original mexican food, it has to be tex-mex... even chinese food doesn't taste like chinese in the us...

stop butchering Polish pierogi!!! - let's organize a protest...

I can think of pierogi z mięsem, z serem, ruskie(radzieckie), i chyba z kapustą i grzybami.

and with borowki or apples...that's all... some people make it with soft cooked meat...

i believe so! i can't imagine how much work is to move a household from one country to another... what a headache! i hope most of the people are nice and helpful to make this process easier for you...

Laundry detergent in Canada is of one kind. In Poland there is a division: whites and colour

interesting... in the US there is a detergent to hot water, to cold water, to colors, to whites, to blacks.... way too many... i'm waiting for detergent to yellow, red, blue.... hehe... what a headache! ;)

Once my meal is ready, they call the name of the dish: Pierogi Ruskie!!!!!!!!!Krupnik!!!!!!!!!Flaki!!!!!!!! and so on. It is almost like during the communist times, since those ladies in the kitchen still look the same.

wow! i didn't realize those places still exist!! how funny! :)

I wonder what they were thinking? lol.

not a surprise here...lol... example: when you drive across Germany or Austria, you see clean and neat front yards, very nice... unlike in Poland... :)
