I simply don't understand how you can stand up for some far right posters here who constantly spread
Oh dear it's late and you are asking the most interesting and complicated question.
For a start Germany after WWI was left in a state of poverty and shadow of reparations,, their cries for dialogue and mediation fell on deaf ears, the result was the rise of the radical right and all that followed.
Again if you look at the more recent conflicts you will find the root cause is lack of dialogue or damn right lies from politicians with an agenda not to engage with talk to defuse conflict but satisfy their political / financial agendas.
Major conflicts such as the troubles in Ireland and the freedom of Poland were settled by people talking and reasoning with one another and not shutting down channels of communication.
So if you are asking me why I am prepared to put up with what I consider to be abhorrent radical and dangerous, I would say better to have dialogue, reasoning with my demons than have to resort to looking down at them at the end of the barrel of a gun.
Simply put once you shut someone up and put them in a dark corner where they cannot be heard you are on the path to disaster, hello hitler and stalin all over again.
I just remembered something while having a cigarette tonight that my father told me, he never smoked but had a packet of cigarettes and a zippo when he was fighting in Italy, not for something to do before he died but to give to captured enemy , he said it was his way to be in a position to be a human being rather than a killer, after all the normal German soldier was no different to him . those who had given up talking created this hell.
