News / Poland: A Successful case of low criminality in Europe? [97]

I Think that Poland is a great and low crime country for few reasons:

1 - The Slavic culture is, within, very peaceful (Ok, i know that i am sounding like the BS that Crow usually says). After so many struggles they united and sometimes i feel that people take care of each other. This is a very beautiful characteristic of the polish culture that all Poles should be extremelly proud and NEVER let anyone try to disrespect it. Even i being brazilian i learned to admire it. Poles should never let immigrants censor their culture.

2 - Poland doesn't see people rioting in the streets for more riots or benefits. After years of Failed Communism, the Polish people learned that you are responsible for yourself, not the government.

3 (AND MORE IMPORTANT): Poland is still a "Political Correctness Frenzy" Free country! That is Wonderful! A Criminal pays when he commit a crime in Poland. Even if he is from a "minority" or from another "Religion"

This thread will be closely monitored btw. If it is just an excuse to rant about Muslims/Islam, it will be closed.

Saw how i focused on Poland and that was not an excuse, dear Pam? Stop persecuting me, this is becoming absurd. Everything that i post you delete and say that i was offending Muslims.

Smurf:
So why Norway, that have a similar "openess" as Sweden, so same standards of crime report, have so many, SO MANYYYYY less rapes than Sweden?

Now i let you to discover: What is the biggest difference between Sweden and Norway? What Sweden have that Norway doesn't have that is causing the rapes?

News / Poland: A Successful case of low criminality in Europe? [97]

When i see people asking here if Poland is a safe place, i ever think: Compared to Where?
But now i realize how Poland is safe., specially when compared to some countries much more developed.

I think that the most incredible comparison is when we compare the statistics of Poland with a "Developed" country like Sweden.

At Sweden you have 987 cases of assault per 100 thousand habitants every year.

At Poland you have only 2.

The most alarming thing is when you see statistics of Rape:

Sweden is the second country in Rape cases in the world (just after Lesotho, in Africa). 1 in each 4 swedish woman was or will be raped during their lifes.

While Poland have only 4 rapes per 100k habitants/year, Sweden have incredible 53 Rapes per 100k habitants/year.

A Polish woman, in terms of rape, is 13 times safer than a swedish woman.

What makes that difference be so huge?

PS: My sources of information, and also two very recommended article about this issue:
gatestoneinstitute.org/5195/sweden-rape
frontpagemag.com/2013/dgreenfield/1-in-4-swedish-women-will-be-raped-as-sexual-assaults-increase-500

News / US Military: The Army of Poland is crap. [124]

Why Poland would spend money on army?

It have protection of NATO, for God's Sake. No one will mess with Nato.

Putin is just a Barking Dog. He bully Ukraine because they are isolated.

Poland should make like Israel: Invest in research and education and then in the future will have their own advanced military industry.

Life / Why people from western European countries are ashamed to hang out with Polish emigrants [15]

I think that a lot of Western Europeans think that they are better than Eastern Europeans.

This is very similar to what happens with Mexicans in USA.

But please, i ask everyone to be under their skin (Western Europeans).

A lot of times people see news of car robberies, or pickpocketers being caught and most of times they are poles/romanians.

After being bombarded with so many bad news, this kind of behaviour is understandable (But ALSO WRONG. Understandable doesn't mean i agree with it).

Exactly the same of what happens with mexicans in USA.

The only thing that i was slightly wrong about the price, in a meal for 2 with few beers i paid 127.

To give an idea, a meal for two in a decent restaurant with drinks costs around 150zl

Oh, this is even expensive. Every month when i visit poland i go to a pretty nice restaurant in Stare Miasto at Warsaw and i pay around 90 Pln on a meal for two with 4 or 5 beers.

History / Poland's King Jan III Sobieski - the stopper of Turkish Janissaries! [64]

Pleased to see that who manages to beat Turks with the help of a coalition of some other nations

Well, Turks also fought with a coalition when they invaded the balkans, more specifically with everything that they enslaved all the way to there. And also their mongol relatives of the crimean khanate.

And still they lost.

Because even with huge numbers of soldiers, they lack the knowledge and organization of any normal military.

Just greedy, hate and killer-feeling was not enough for the turks to conquer, subjugate and convert europe to Islam.

Fortunately.

Thanks Sobieski.

History / Poland's King Jan III Sobieski - the stopper of Turkish Janissaries! [64]

Sobieski was sword of justice. Turks themselves decided to sit on Slavic penis. Nobody called them.

Actually Mehmed II , the main sultan of the ottoman empire, was famous for using slavic slaves to please him, he was a very famous homosexual.

Pederasty was a common factor among Ottomans.

Love / Observations and experiences so far about Polish women [93]

Of course there are unattractive girls but even they have great figures. The standard overall is incredibly high here better than any other country I have visited or lived in. That's true, probably why they are content dating ugly penniless losers

Or probably they have values.

If you want girls that date you just because your money, go to Russia or Morocco.

History / Most important Poles and Slavs that ever lived [74]

Lech Walesa - terrible president...

Seriously?

If it was not for him, you would be spending 2 hours per week at the line for bread and 2 hours more at the line for toilet paper.

Go to Cuba or North Korea and see what Lech Walesa avoided to turn Poland into.

In My Opinion, Any list of most important Slavs should have those 3 polish names:

1 - Jan Sobieski
2 - Lech Walesa
3 - Frederyk Chopin

If the list have 15 places instead of 10, can also put the great leader, negotiatior and pacifist Pope John Paul 2.

Definitely those guys made a better world for all of us.

Love / Want to ask a Polish girl out? [27]

This is called Professionalism.

History / Most important Poles and Slavs that ever lived [74]

Well, maybe if i move out Pope John Paul II, i can create space for Dostoyevsky. What you think?

Dostoyevski have not even close to the impact of John Paul II.

Just think about how many people the first and the second influenced. I am pretty sure that there are not 1.2 billion people that read Dostoyevski, so not even talk about how many people in fact understood and liked Dostoyevski.

History / Most important Poles and Slavs that ever lived [74]

You see how crow underestimate Poles in his "Slav World" when he does a list of "the most important Slavs" but forget the greatest Pole (and in my opinion, the greatest Slav) of the history:

Jan Sobieski.

If it was not for Jan Sobieski, Polish Woman would be using Burkas today.

After Jan Sobieski, in my opinion, comes Jan Karol Chodkiewicz.

And then comes Pope Jon Paul II

News / Is Poland's PO party left or right wing? [15]

In Poland there are politicians who are so far to the right on social issues that it is hard to imagine them ever operating elsewhere in Europe

1 - That is why Poland now is not completely overtake and messed like France or Britain.

2 - A lot of the most developed states of USA actually have republican government. From the top 5 most developed, 3 are governed by republicans: Massachusetts, New Jersey and Maryland, among many others.

News / Is Poland's PO party left or right wing? [15]

Hi Everyone.

This weekend i was visiting my girlfriend in Poland and we were talking about politics (one of my favorite subjects).

Then she said to me that she is leftist.

It was surprising for me because i ever saw her opinions as being from a good right-wing girl (pro free-iniative, pro-free enterprise, capitalism and individual freedom). So i asked if she voted for SLD.

Then she said that she voted to PO. Then i said "But PO is not left, they are pro-free market and pro free-enterprise". She said to me that in Poland just parties like PiS and Ruch Narodowy are considered right-wing.

But for me those parties are very nationalistic but not pro-capitalism and freedom at all.

So is PO left or right?

Love / How many Polish men are Violent how much is domestic abuse reported. [129]

I Dont think that Polish Men are violent.

Of course that it depends of what you consider violence. Of course Polish Men are different of British, Japanese or Latin men.

But after live at Middle East, in Arabia, i would say that Polish Men are extremelly kind and gentle compared to the men here.

I want to go to parties with my friends and dress sexy. He wants me to dress like a mother all the time and I cant be friends with unmarried girls.

By the way that you write, you are not British. You are just another Pakistani troll that want to do a bad image of Polish men to find polish girls to "be friend"

Love / Polish girls hard in relationships [156]

I Think thaPolish woman ARE demanding. They WANT their husbands/boyfriends to improve everyday, in every aspect.

And guess what? THEY ARE FUC*ING RIGHT!

My girlfriend is very demanding. And i like that. Even because it helps me to improve myself everyday.

If you like this kind of girl that will be satisfied with anything (loser girl), look for another one. Even because it is that what you deserve.

I Dont want a girl that is easily satisfied. I Want someone ambitious.

Travel / Why do people say that Poland is so unsafe? [60]

Baluty and Wschodnia are two places where you don't want to be at night(white, black yellow, green doesn't matter)

I am Brazilian, very different appearance from Poles (i look like a Portuguese or Italian) and i lived in Baluty (according to you, one of the most dangerous neighbourhoods in the most dangerous city of Poland).

I felt extremely safe. People there don't speak English, but they received me pretty good.

I think that most cities in Poland today are much more safe than "Multicultural" cities (HAHAHA) like London, Paris, etc.

Life / Polish people and racism. [943]

That's very strange. When I lived in the middle east I never once changed the way I dress.

Because you are a man, Harry. Man doesn't have problem here.

On the other side, woman.... Just type "Reflect your respect" at google and see by yourself. (And i am not even talking about more conservative middle east countries like Saudi, Iran or Kuwait).

it is amusing to see you making a racist statement.

What she said is NOT a racist statement.

She just said her position about some behaviours. This is NOT racism. If i say that i don't like curry this is NOT racism against Indians.

One thing that I will always protect: Poles rule in Poland. British rule in Britain. Turkish rule in Turkey and so on. I have nothing against foreigners as long as they don't disrespect Polish culture and don't try to boss us around in our country. If you can't understand it, that's your problem.

Very Well said girl, very well said!

How dare someone go to Poland and say that poles cannot eat pork pierogi and drink vodka, two of the best things from Poland?

Life / Polish people and racism. [943]

Polish citizens moving to France, Ireland, the UK, Turkey, Dubai, the U.S. or wherever can choose whether or not to assimilate and that does work both ways.

Where i live, middle east, they are OBLIGATED TO assimilate.

Because here, in MIDDLE EAST, you need to follow a middle eastern dress code. Pork and Alcohol are not alllowed. Woman cannot show the knees.

And no Jon, don't used Dubai as a example of Middle east. Dubai and Bahrain are the few exceptions because they need tourists.

All other places in Arabian Peninsula justify the stereotype. And poles here are obligated to adapt.

But people from Oman, Saudi or Yemen when they go to Europe, are not. Or even worse, they create their own sub-states where they also obligate native europeans to follow it.

Life / Polish people and racism. [943]

All those uniforms, flags, salutes and street battles were soooo peaceful, weren't they. Fortunately in Poland far right politics is a thing of the lunatic fringe.

So you are saying that a Nazi for using a uniform and do a salutation, even if he didnt went to war, was not peaceful, right?

Well, do you know that Muslims also have a dress code (Hijab/Niqab/Chador/Etc) and do a salutation typically muslim? (Assalamaleiko. Non-Muslims arabs say just Marhaba or Kheefik).

A Muslim that says that would ostracize his daughter if she have a non-muslim boyfriend, or agree with physical punishments to his wife is still considered pacific.

A Catholic that thinks the same, would be considered pacific?

Look for the video of Ben Shapiro talking about the Myth of the peaceful majority of muslims.

That Haylel would depend on your information sources now wouldn't it. Most people who hold opinions such as yours are not aware of the full picture. All the racists on this page hold prejudice,

I Live in an Islamic country, so can i say what i think about Islam without being considered racist by you?

Because everyone that says the truth about Islam today is considered racist by people like you.

Vox, i agree with you.

I would also like to remember that the countries that resisted to the hardest invasions and won the fiercest wars was those with strong religious values:

Poland: The country that stopped the Ottomans. Otherwise Europe would be a caliphate already.

Armenia: Resisted the invasions of Turkey and crashed Azerbaijan when (Together with URSS and Turkey) they tried to invade then.

Israel: Needless to say anything.

Malta: Even when sorrounded by hundreds of thousands of invaders, this tiny country won a war with ration 1:80 against Bedouin forces.

Said one fanatic religious extremist about another group of so called religious extremist fundamentalists.

Why you call him fanatic?

It is funny.... if a Catholic talk about preserve catholic traditions, he is called fanatic.

If a muslim says "I Am against ISIS, but i would kick my daughter out of home if she dates a non-muslim" , well, he is still considered a peaceful muslim not radical.

Double standards. Catholics can say NOTHING even in a Catholic country. On the other hands, Muslims can do whatever they want.

We are aware of what is already happening in Western Europe because of Islam and we will never allow it in our country.

Very well said!

I am south american and i ever feel welcome in Poland! And i go there every month!

They like me because they know that, differently than Muslims, South-Americans like polish culture and don't want to destroy it.

The few countries that survived the Muslims invasions (Poland, Armenia, Israel) are countries that never left their beliefs.

On the other hand, now you see what cities like London, Paris or Marseille are becoming. A huge mess.
