History / How was Poland compensated after World War 2 [47]

Mainly the Soviets but considering they installed a Communist regime for the best of 40 years i highly doubt they compensated Poland in anyway or intend to in anytime soon.

Life / Doctors taking bribes in Poland [76]

The problem that you dont see is that many people dying from various diseases and crippling illnesses are poor Polish people that cant pay a 1000 PLN fcuking bribe.

Do they have like a medicare in Poland where the government pays for most of it ?
It works well in Australia and we have hardly any health systems problems.

Life / Doctors taking bribes in Poland [76]

i have handed over chocolates, bottles of whiskey, cash, all to often and some times in person. Ive NEVER known a Doctor or nurse to turn it down.

They hardly get paid enough anyway so i don't see what the big problem is.

History / Chance of Lwów once again became coming part of Poland [344]

Aboriginals can have it back as along as the Europeans can take every they built.Gdansk have been polish for over 600 years and only German for 128 but it seems like a good deal as long as Poland gets there border from 1921 :)

Who originally owned it, criminal? Who originally settled it before your ancestors came on the prison ship? The Aboriginals.

My grandparents came from a concentration camp in Poland so I dont think it has anything to do with them but if that make them criminals I guess they are then.

Warschau is also a nice german name for warsaw :)

I assume then, that you'll be giving back Australia to the aboriginals then?

Australia doesn't belong to Aboriginals it belongs to all Australians and anyway the british are the ones that "stole it" ;)

I assume that you'll also return Gdansk, Szczecin and Wroclaw to the Germans.

No i am only interested in Lviv being returned to Poland as they shuold have done at the Yalta conference.

Lwów jest polski;)

No they won't. People in Lwow are fiercely proud of their country - and they would much rather live in poverty than be part of another country. Given that Ukrainians have waited hundreds of years for their own nation, why would they give it up?

Returning Lwow to to the rightful owners Poland is the right thing to do and eventually it will happen. What do you they mean they would rather live in poverty than be a part of another country that's exactly what they are doing at the moment.

Do you mean that Ukrainians should be expelled like the Germans were?

No i wouldn't have a problem with any Ukrainians in Lviv if it became part of Poland again we are practically the same people i don't see why it would be a problem i was actually refer to the fact there German minorities in former German territories such as Wroclaw so i don't think having Ukrainians in Lviv would a problem if it was returned to Poland and by the way i am not talking about it being returned tomorrow i talking about in 20 years time.
