Off-Topic / Polish head of state plane crashed in middle of nowhere? [56]

Shelley (actually it was ShelleyS)...I see all that goat sh*ggin has left you a little bit brainless, you tit!

And, all that this mourning and pain-stricken nation asks for is the truth. They sure as hell have earned it!

Im sure there will be a thorough investigation as always when there have been plane crashes...Maybe an independent source will carry it out.

Off-Topic / Polish head of state plane crashed in middle of nowhere? [56]

you're arabs of the north just like Norway, bunch of sheep breeders in remote part of Britain, no own goverment ( or wait they try to be ). You have only nice past and thats it.

By the way you speak you could actually be a goat sh*ggin arab...

As for the Scots, do you want me to list their inventions and achievements? Im English by the way and we dont consider Scotland to be a remote part of Britain, its "Scotland"....As for their government, they have their own parliment and they have their own laws. You really are a tit arent you?

News / Will todays tragedy effect the economy of Poland? [34]

Apparently no cultural events will be happening, but the pubs are open (this was from a work colleague in the Warsaw office) - you could still go for a walk to the Jewish district and a walk round the castle...there's plenty to see, its a very pretty place.

UK, Ireland / Female health in Britain - Polish view [105]

In England they just go ahead, grow a bump, and call a midwife.

Yep and our mortality rates are just fine...So what is your problem with our womens health service? As I have already stated, I had cancer, nearly 8 years ago and Im fine...Also all my friends have given birth in our disgusting health service and *shudder" their kids have survived and so did they!! Funnily enough, your lot are breeding like phucking rats over here and seem to be doing okay too!

Sweetie, my country isnt perfect and I know that, but your country cant even accommodate its own...when Poland can do that, you can slag my country and its faults off..Until then, when you are enjoying a job over here...STFU! or go and transform your own country...

USA, Canada / Getting a VISA to USA by a Polish person nowadays [339]

The yanks allow us Paddys in for three months without a visa. Tis very kind.

Very stupid if you ask me in this economic climate! You'll be on the building sites like flies on sh*t!

USA, Canada / Getting a VISA to USA by a Polish person nowadays [339]

Has anyone ever been to Portland, Maine? Whats it like?

Britain is just about to make the immigration laws more strict for those outside of the EU, including the above...By the way, there are plenty of losers that come from all countries you mention above why should we make it easier for some? Do you know how tough it is to get into America? Ive got a colleague going over for a 6 month secondment (an inter company transfer) and he has 5 hour interview with the American consulate in London..

If you think America is an easy touch, forget it! Oh I also know the meaning for Fort Knox, you cant even take a wallet in their! Everything has to be done through our immigration office who transfer the papers over...so strict!

UK, Ireland / Female health in Britain - Polish view [105]

They don't have gynaecologists easily available either, and the check-ups are done by your local GP.

That is not the worst. You can't legally get a smear before you're 25.

Aparently women under the age of 25 are not particularly at risk, so why waste money? But at the same time, if someone asks for a smear they are unlikely to be refused.

which must logically mean that boyfriends don't take the girlfriends for a visit to the gynaecologist before they have sex for the first time. That's irresponsible, and guys are missing out on a good occasion to show care and maturity, and hold your hand before your first pelvic.

Maybe this is a popular date in Poland, not sure it'll catch on in the UK though.

From my personal experience (I had cervical cancer) I can say that I had excellent treatment, I was on 6 monthy check-ups for 2 years and for the last 5

years Ive had yearly check-ups, the smear that diagnoised the cancer was done by my practice nurse, not a specialist, they were the ones who treated me.

If a midwife is just as good, why didn't she study to become a doctor?

She is a specalist and the training is pretty hard going and Id rather have an experienced midwife deliver my child than some doctor who has never done it before.

As for not getting smears under the age of 25, I think it's a total disgrace. You'd do better spending money on the smears for young women, than on free contraception for teenage girls that can't stop themselves from jumping into bed with anyone.

We'd do better to educate women to ensure that condoms are used and that would lower the rate of pregnancy and cervical cancer, so contraception isnt a bad thing.

has decided that the extra cost of screening this age group is worth it.

Simply because its rare for a woman at this age to get cancer.

If foreign women dont like the system here, then they can go back to their own little paradice and enjoy all the specialist treatment they want! Im happy with it and so are all my friends!

News / Official language of EU (is not Polish) [119]

Spent where??? You are living in Amercian and dont pay a red cent to the coffers and have no idea...Poland are doing just fine out of their membership, they hardly pay anything so you need not worry that you're ancesters are losing anything, its the rest of us that are paying the price!

News / Official language of EU (is not Polish) [119]

I don't know if there was ever a thread regarding this issue but I find it ridicules that every nation (even the smallest ones) wants to speak its own language in Brussels.

That was joke right? It costs us (British tax payers) that each year in translors for material for Poles in the UK alone....So I dont get your point...Its not saving us Brits anything! We already pay a fooking fortune to the EU unlike some other countries! You were taking the pish by post this thread right?

The most widely spoken native language in the EU is German.

From what I see English and French would be more likely even or Greek! German isnt listed as a "primary" lanaguge"

Austria - German
Belgium - Dutch, French, German
Bulgaria - Bulgarian
Cyprus - Greek
Czech Republic - Czech
Denmark - Danish
Estonia - Estonian (close to Finish)
Finland - Finish
France - Frech
Germany- German
Greece - Greek
Hungary - Hungarian
Ireland - Gaglic / English
Italy - Italian
Latvia - Latvian
Lithuania - Lithuanian
Luxembourg - French (mainly)
Malta - Maltese / English
Netherlands - Dutch
Poland - Polish
Portugal - Portugues
Romania - Romanian
Slovakia - Slovankian
Slovenia - Slovenian
Spain - Spanish
Sweden - Swedish
United Kingdom - English/Welsh

UK, Ireland / BBC DOCUMENTARY: ANYONE WHO IS POLISH & RECENTLY LEFT THE UK? [33]

why would you want a race riot in Poland?

I dont, I think Poland should shut its doors to to avoid situtations like this:

The father of three fell as he fled a burning tower block and was surrounded by a mob which hacked him to death with knives and machetes.

metro.co.uk/news/812529-arrest-over-1985-riot-pc-s-murder

You want some wife with 3 small children to have her husband hacked to death?

Or have to put up with this!

telegraph.co.uk/news/yourview/1545624/Can-the-UK-cope-with-9-million-more-people.html

You can call me a racist all you like, but I know the reality...Multi cultural societies do not work..White in Africa are hated as much as coloureds in Europe...only for different reasons.

you put it in a very nice way, yet said it all!

And you can cheer the liberals on all you like, you havent got a clue sweet heart!

Work / Are Educational Documents from 3rd World Immigrants Scrutinised? [7]

No, it was a relavent point, since there have been 1,000s of illegal colleges closesd in the UK and I see that Poland has the gates open in this respect, I was just curious. See below, seems like Poland will be open to abuse!

No restrictions. The private universities are also equally lax - as long as they pay the fees, they're not watched carefully. Poland is about what, maybe 20 years behind the UK in this respect?

Who's left, the block states are being invaded! Poland is high the list because so many went to the UK (let marry one to get in syndrome) - and they are desparate for investment from any means! - failure on a plate if you ask me!..If you asked me 4/ 5 years ago I would have said NO chance..now..easy doors open!

Work / Are Educational Documents from 3rd World Immigrants Scrutinised? [7]

Im just asking this question because there have been a considerable amount of cases in the UK whereby documents for both education and finances have been falsified in student cases. I was just curious to know if this was the same in Poland and if they were more strict or even aware that this happened? Do 3rd world immigrants get jobs in Poland if so what industries do they work in? If they do how many hours are they allowed to work in order to qualify as students?

Life / Polish TV licence (abonament) - almost no-one I know pays [36]

dtaylor5632: I have the picture of the new Specsavers advert, you walking around Manchester being followed by a pair of Gucci shoes, thinking "If only I didn't pay my TV licence" :D

You bar steward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for reminding me!!!!!! Not quite Gucci at a £150 (I wish! its hard to find Jimmy Choo's in the sales that low!)

Back on track

dtaylor5632: i think) that the law has changed in the EU and you can access British TV throughout the EU.

You still need a licencing number.

delphiandomine: The golden rule with TV licence inspectors - never, ever allow them into your property. You can actually entirely legally put a notice up saying that representatives of Capita are banned from your property - and you're perfectly entitled to use reasonable force to remove them if they turn up.

You are evidently unaware of the law Delph! If you are breaking the law which you are by not buying a TV licence (the term is evading), then you are liable...and the £1,000 fine you are culpable for - so if they pursue a fine and then pass on to a debt company it esculates, its rather not worth it. As I said, I pay mine, rather than be a scum bag that enjoys the benefits rather than paying...Call me old fashioned but I'd rather abide by the law in the country I live, like all my family do...silly me for not breaking the rules! You lot who did are obviously so rock 'n' roll! :D <sarcastic tone implied>

Travel / Why some travelers hate Poland? [45]

There are only 2,000 jews in my country. Tis great. Unfortunately, we had to accept one or two after ww2. International opinion and all that.

I'll swap you those 2,000 Jews for 2,000 pakis? Deal?

Life / Polish TV licence (abonament) - almost no-one I know pays [36]

Snap! And now when you buy a TV you must buy a TV licence with it.

Really? I thought they just notified the licencing people about you...

I bought a new tv a month or so back and nobody asked for anything like that.

You dont, but you fill in details when you purchase a TV and these are sent on to the licencing people.

ID?! I'd tell them to get lost - it's not the law to provide ID when buying a telly,

Yes it is, but you could always pay with cash and give the address of a friend with a TV licence.

Personally I pay my £150 a year, Id rather not break the law - its just one less pair of shoes!

licence payers as they know that the licence will cease to exist for much longer.

Dont count on it, its a nice little money earner they're not about to get rid of any time soon, TV advertising isnt as lucrative as it used to be since the internet became so popular.

Love / What do foreign women think of Polish men? [120]

News / Can a Polish person give up EU handouts? [15]

nomaderol: not enough farmable lands in western europe anymore..

We have plenty of land and we're heading more towards sustainability...Also your comments about shutting boarders, you are exactly right, less mouths to feed would be much better on the Island.

nomaderol: europe will lose much.

Like what?

Life / Do Polish people have a temper? [53]

Allison: Spaniards almost always have a bad temper and it has nothing to do with the generation. This is undeniable if you have ever seen any Spanish people.

Ive been to Spain more times than you've had hot dinners, being direct isnt necessarily the same as being bad tempered...they're pretty chilled out as it happens.

Love / What do foreign women think of Polish men? [120]

king polkagamon: English women haveno taste in men they date the first person they see.

This Greek girl is talking rubbish...

Alx123: attractive and educated girls from western nations generally prefer to be single than settle for a 'loser'.

This is true, but there are exeptions to that rule too.

Love / What do foreign women think of Polish men? [120]

Wulkan: funny but I have seen much more English girls with a loosers as a boyfriend so there is no rule

You're living in the UK so that would stand to reason really, but they werent talking about English women, the coversation drifted off course and went to why do so many Polish girls date losers.

The answer to the above is possibly they like a certain type of idiot or they have low self esteeem or possibly they dont realise that some cock with a baseball cap, dodgy sportsware an' a car with "GTI on the side of it is generally a sign that the person is to be avoided at all cost and not that he's cool and has a car. The other reason is possibly that most if not all Poles live in very poor areas and generally live amongst men who are not exactly what one would consider boyfriend material, unless you're a low achiever and your only asperation is to get a council flat and have kids by the time you're 16. Most Polish girls dont know the reality in the UK, they dont notice how someone speaks or how inteligent they are (language barrier is a blessing for thick Brit who want to land a pretty and inteligent Polish girl)....

I'm beginning to suspect that your obsession with feminism colors way too much of your life.

Being dressed up as a girl by his mother from a young age whilst being made to watch "what every happed to baby Jane" a few 100 times can do that to a fella! :D

Life / Is Poland a safe country for people of color? [241]

But that has nothing to do with my book recommendation

You keep recommending books when I have "real life" experience.

You are not asking a question and it is obvious that you are not interested in investigating it at all.

I have had friends that have made comments..I dont need a book to tell me, you evidently do.

You just want more things that backup your already made up mind.

See above.

I have offered an alternative but you choose to ignore it and come out with something about Asians.

No, what you did was "tell" me to read about something, when in reality, I have experienced something you have not.

Keep calling me a racist, I dont really care, as you can see I once upon a time had friends who were asian and realised what they were about...We make our own minds up as we go along in life, we dont just assume, thats the way I was brought up.
