You might ask some of your ...... countrymen why they left ........ for America, and never returned.

Actually a very good question (...answer), just about to anyone out there.

educate yourself, work your as$ off, think outside the box, don't be xenophobe or a bigot, stay out of the trouble and good things will come to you.

The best quote of all in this thread.

Life / Foreigners in Poland and what they think of us [54]

Although i didn't like his comment about sandals and socks

but he's right about it, we don't wear socks to sandals too. Actually, I haven't seen anyone else doing it other than in Poland.

UK, Ireland / Homeless Poles living on barbecued rats and alcoholic handwash? [62]

Bear in mind that living costs are stupidly low here - I saw potatoes in one market for 0.60zl (or what, about 15 cents?) a kilo, it's not as bad as it sounds.

yeah and what about the rent and bills? Besides, not all food products are cheap in Poland. Actually, I didn't have the expression that the living costs are "stupidly low" in Poland. (not for Poles anyway).

Work / What qualifications are needed for English teachers in Poland? [49]

well, I was hoping you would, actually, since you're from Texas, too

Well, she's not "from Texas" but she lives there. As far as your question, to be honest, in many cases you don't even need to be a teacher to teach English in Poland but most likely, you won't get enough hours to live of it. Sometimes you might come across a full time position and they usually offer around 2500PLN/month and it's rather a struggle than life (most of Poles will disagree with me here) because after you pay all of the bills, it won't be much left for entertainment. Then again, obviously it all depends on your expectations.

Life / Is the word "Polack"rascist? [185]

It seems for Polonophobic racists like you it indeed "isn't."

You took it out of context and totally misunderstood what I said.
Besides, like I said, we're talking about nationality and not a race so how can someone that says it be a racist? You can call him him whatever you want but not a racist.

Also, it depends who and how says it. It's not always meant as an insult. Next time before you come to some kind of conclusion, read it twice what one writes and it won't come to misunderstanding like this time. I definitely don't hate Poles. I have some Polish friends so don't come up with this bs again.

Is the word "Polack"rascist?

No, it isn't. We're talking about the nationality and not a race.

Now seriously, it depends how people use it, sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.

Love / How should I approach this young Polish man that I like? [48]

How many guys are going to turn down a nice girl who asks him out?

I know a few of them on this forum. Otherwise why do you think we have so many pro gays posters here. (that wasn't very liberal, sorry).

The majority of the worlds armed forces have gay troops, no problems

I don't have any problem with a (strictly) gay army unit too, especially if it will be a combat unit to be send off to the battle before anyone else (jeez, maybe I'm too liberal here ;-)

If your kids turn out to be gay and completely happy, is there a problem?

Of course it is. Ask any mother in the world if she wants her child to turn gay one day. Your liberalism might make you very unhappy one day convex, just wait and see how you're going to feel about it one day if you'll ever be in this kind of situation. I know few cases where exactly this had happened and I know what kind of hell those families went through and are still going through. It's easy for you to talk about it as long as you're not emotionally involved in it and all you have to defend is your point and not your life as I strongly assume, you'd see your child as your life or a huge part of it at least.

Fight against those other people

Am I supposed to fight those (some) other people that gays are possibly about to "change" their lives by turning them into homos? By saying other people, I meant especially all those still vulnerable, young boys and guys, the potential prey. If you believe I'm wrong then tell me how else gays are extending their "gay circles"?

it could be anything by anyone just like it could be anything by anyone when you guys post your pro gay stuff.

You guys want us to be tolerant toward gays but at the same time, you don't show any tolerance toward people who don't feel the same way as you.

It's almost scary for many people to openly admit that one doesn't like gays because the person will be attacked by whole bunch of intolerant gays and pro gays.

History / "Poland's Concentration Camp" ?? [570]

If Nazi actions aren't considered the worst in history

well, Nazis did many terrible things but here I got some interesting youtube videos and links for you guys

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor

I could present whole bunch of those but to be honest, we all should finally see that the WW2 is over and move on.

I also don't understand why there's so much hatred between the Dutch and the Germans,

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23rd_SS_Volunteer_Panzer_Grenadier_Division_Nederland

As you see, just about anyone has dirty hands so why spit in each other faces.
