Screw Schengen. Its a stupid idea anyway.

Poland will enter the visa waver program just not yet, in a few years, those other "new" Europe countries got it because they have a much smaller population. Schengen is under threat, The Italians, French, Danes are worried too many North Africans and others moving around.

Let's get this straight 3,000 zl both, roughly 1500 a head, or one making a little more than the other. Anyhow, that's far less than the supposedly 3,600zl national average. Plus they obviously don't pay rent, maybe chip in for the bills. I thought everyone on this Poland living there is saying how Poland has prospered in recent years.

EU, European standards and deadlines are supposed to mean something, organization, skills, quality competence. No ifs, whens or buts. Can't complete a stadium in time, motorway, purchase trains properly.

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Thursday threatened to drop a Chinese company contracted to build a key stretch of highway in Poland after financing problems saw the work grind to a halt.

"This contractor has problems with financing and today I'll be speaking with (Infrastructure) Minister (Cezary) Grabarczyk (...) about how to proceed if we decide to resign from the services of this company so that work on the A2 highway project isn't drastically delayed," Tusk said, adding "we don't want a situation where the project costs sky-rocket."

Construction of part of the A2 highway linking the Polish and German capitals Warsaw and Berlin by Chinese company COVEC stopped last month after the firm failed to pay Polish subcontractors.

Obama wants a high speed rail line here in the states also. Great idea population is growing fast, there are so many traffic jams, and airports and more and more crowded.

"That’s why Vice President Biden traveled to Philadelphia today to announce a comprehensive plan to help the nation reach President Obama’s goal of giving 80 percent of Americans access to high-speed rail within 25 years. The President is proposing to invest $53 billion over the next six years to continue construction of a national high-speed and intercity passenger rail network, which will create tens of thousands of private-sector jobs while helping to lay a new foundation for our economy."

Yea, hopefully in 10 years Poland with have the tracks to exploit their full potential. I know the EU must be happy a European company got the deal.

If I remember rightly, that route wasn't particularly popular - East Germans needed exit visas to visit Poland

It was pretty bad back then, people wore ugly gray clothing, ugly communist style buildings, long lines in front of stores, police(militia) was strict etc.

The 20 new Pendolino trains which are capable of reaching speeds of up to 250k/h will be traveling at around 160k/h since railways in Poland aren't suited for higher speeds. Critics say this purchase was pointless, PKP could have bought 60 not 20 trains for that price (reaching 160/180k/h).

So what ? LOL. My cousin looks straight up Celtic and he's "full" Polish. I also have a Polish friend or two who have brown hair and red beards, freckles. There's some Poles who look like that.

So if they would never in their lives want to see *any* coloured people, then why in the nine hells would they choose to live in a country like Brazil or Israel?

Maybe due to financial difficulties they've had back in Poland. If they live in a multi-ethnic multi-racial country now they know what they're talking about. Brazilians are very mixed, Israeli Jews look different from other Jews. First Polish Jews settled there then they've had Russian Jews many of whom look more Russian(Slavic) than Semitic, obviously mixed. A friend of mine who's been to Israel many times says in the Jewish girls there are pretty, so for them mixing worked lol. I have a Mexican friend who says only the people with full or mostly Spanish blood in her country are good looking, says the Mayan or Aztec descendants are ugly. It looks like it's beneficial to non whites only.

But you're not alone, a lot of people would try to show off with stupid crap like a cell phone, especially in Poland.

A few years back they didn't have affordable calling plans in Poland, everyone had a cell phone to "show off" but they only used the text messaging, it was too expensive to call someone.

This gradual process is planned to last several months. We have to take the blame for Rap though,,,sorry world, stop buying that $$it!

We went down from one of the best music in the world to a "ghetto trash".

Oh, hang on "blues"...flaming Nora..It just might be, that America are quite good at music too...Oh feck it, they have Country & Western too! Long live Kenny!

Lol @ English being good in music.

America always had great music (crap too) but great music as well, and so did the Brits (great rock bands)
