I forgot - there is a place called Galindia (Mazurski Eden! I think....) South of Mikolajki. Lots of neat wood carvings, upside down trees, a nice little diversion for a few hours...

It is just west of Jezioro Beldany, south of Iznota. My kids liked it there.

I took a tour of a coffee plantation in Jamaica a few years back. One thing that stuck in my mind was that the guide stated that the worst of the worst beans go towards making instant coffee. Decafeinated was only slightly better. So I can see why somebody might want syrup. It is a better quality than instant.
