Pipes are to 'smoke' crack with Pawian.

))) Hey, I don`t smoke anything with anybody. :)

PS. OK, I am not an expert on drugs, I thought it was used to sniff in, like regular cocaine.

lol a cheap plastic bottle vodka???

This is the closest of all but still no. The answer consists of one word.

Maf, elbow is also close but only because it is one word. Recall our exchange from another thread. What do I mean exactly?

So, that was typical screwing sb/sth in. :):)

The next riddle is also linked to another thread.

What is my best friend using?

I thought there's no way that you would be that deceptive. I was wrong!!!

I am sorry. You and Kaprys (btw, thanks for brave guessing, you are such great thinkers) weren`t the first to fall for that prank. The first victim was my best friend`s dog.

Next time I post a riddle I will make it exceptionally difficult :):)

Yes, of course, take your sweet revenge, I can`t wait. :)

Now the question is why you put a cap in a pet carrier; )

A cap or a hat, I never know.

Whenever they come to us from another city, they bring their dog cause he can`t stay alone in the apartment. We have two cats and one of them is extremely hostile to canines, so there is always hissing followed by an attack and the dog, whining, ends up on my bed which is sort of asylum.

When we went to visit them 7 years ago, I decided to play a practical joke on the dog, by pretending I brought a cat with us. He was scared again and we all had a lot of fun.

Travel / Poland's LOT Air Problems [43]

Yes, you suggested two important things. Firstly, is it worth it? For most people it isn`t, but some feel they have been wronged very unfairly, then they have an opportunity to take their revenge on the net.

Secondly, there can be some hidden story within the story, indeed.

Travel / Poland's LOT Air Problems [43]

Yes, but coming to fora etc and complaining about poor customer service can also be treated as a way of solving the problem. Companies often forget that having bad reputation on the net can harm their profits. What if the OP describes the situation everywhere possible and does so for a few next years? :)

Yes, it is a fur garment, namely a cap. When I come back home, I will show it in action.

PS. But you didn`t know it before. :)

Life / Everything this guy says I feel about Poland [69]

Complain in private to friends, but maintain some dignity in public

Doug is sort of torn, when I came back in March he was very disenchanted with PiS rule over Poland and decided to leave. Now he is trying to convince himself that his decision was justified and dropping Poland after so many years was a good move, it is a common psychological mechanism. I suppose I know how he feels, not too good, In result, I can`t be really angry at him.:):)

but it's basic manners and common courtesy to 'salute' as we say in Ireland,

That`s good, it means that the English managed to teach the Irish basic manners or even royal courtesy during the time they controlled Ireland. :)

Fortunately, I live in Poland, not Ireland, and I am not obliged to respond to morons who have nothing else to do than bother people by saying their stupid hello to strangers on the beach. :)

Besides, I was born and raised in southern Poland which once was the Austrian partition. Did you read anything in the thread Heritage of partitions in today`s Poland? Austrians can be very antisocial and so am I. I just follow certain patterns imprinted during 123 years, so don`t blame me. :):)

Another thing. How should I know what they want? Despite age, I am still attractive to people of both sexes, so I am constantly approached and tested if I am ready for a more intimate relationship, by males, females and mixes. In the past it used to be funny but I have been fed up with that for more than a dozen years.

we're not talking about trying to engage anybody in conversation,

YOU say so, but my experience is different. When I sometimes respond to hello, they always go on and a series of questions and comments follow. We are having wonderful weather, aren`t we? Where do you come from? Really? It is a beautiful city, I went there on a school trip decades ago. And what do you do for a living? Oh , I see, it must be a stressful job to teach those rascals today. So you probably don`t earn too much? Quite the opposite? Darling, you are the man of my life! I want to have a baby with you!

It always starts with silly hello and then you end up with 5 kids - your own if you meet a female or adopted if a male.

Thank you very much. I prefer to be antisocial on the beach.

So they are secluded. Yet Pawian pretends that humans should ignore each other in a totally secluded environment?

I see you are mistaking Sahara or Gobi Deserts with a Polish beach. Sorry, even secluded beaches in Poland don`t allow you to be so intrusive.. :):)

where you might not meet people for 15 kilometres, because they are only open at certain times because of NATO exercises.

That`s a useless statement, you can walk for 50 km without meeting anybody on the beach and that still doesn`t mean anything because it is enough to turn right or left, cross the dunes and the wooded strip of land and you will run into locals in a nearby village.

Fast catching up with UK prices, and Polish wages in general are much lower.

According to Eurostat research, British food prices are quite low. Poland takes the last but one position on the list.

That`s good because it is/was the shittiest fast food which has nothing in common with true Polish sausage. :)

Uproar about hot dogs
startribune.com/costco-angers-members-by-dropping-polish-hot-dog-for-healthier-choices-minnesotans-say-what-polish-hot-dog/487769251/

As for the Costco chicken, you realise it wasn`t the best comparison for Polish prices? :):)

Is it true that a standard price for raw chicken is higher than rotisserie one in Costco? They probably aim at attracting more customers with their low-priced chicken. BTW,, have they brought back Polish hot dogs after the fans raised hell in 2018?

(Germany/Spain) have shorter working weeks and a GDP more than twice that of Poland.

Counted as whole, yes. Per capita, wrong. You realise we should count per capita, of course. :)

Complaining about losing wages and being in favour of free Sundays are two different things. They complain but support the idea, simple.

read about it:
wmeritum.pl/kasjerzy-mysla-o-zakazie-handlu-niedziele-sa-wyniki-badan/226211

As for this theory that prices increase due to loss of Sunday earnings, it is dubious, of course.

As for being happy with that (catholic) tax, I don`t mind it because we do our major shopping on Friday and don`t need to do it on Sundays. One should be better organised, Doug.

As for parents spending more time with their digital driven kids, it all depends on the family. Some families do, some don`t. With a working Sunday, they never can.

Don`t be silly. Employees have a free Sunday and they work longer during the week, instead. How would you feel if your wife had to spend whole Sunday at work? You wouldn`t be too happy handling the kids on your own, right? Unless you sent them to their grandparents.

Yes, I consider it perfectly all right that I leave people alone to their thoughts and business and do not meddle into their private affairs. :):)

Where did you learn this fekking intrusiveness? Not in Poland. You must have brought it from England, right? :):)

Happy to say that after 30 years here.

If that makes you believe you are a better guy, I must disappoint you - you are a loser. :):)

You underestimate them.

Birdbrain, I don`t underestimate anybody. Just don`t like when losers come and try to teach me how to live.

We should get this straight.

Yes, that is really amazing that you want to be so intrusive and overbearing with your crazy Hello on the beach. :):) Leave people alone, for fuk`s sake! Don`t meddle in their affairs, it is not your shity business if they want to hear your moronic hello or not. Poles are freedom-oriented guys, they don`t want to be forced to do things that various idiots expect them to do. :):)

He's an idiot Doug.

Our traditional birdbrain moron has joined the discussion. The more, the merrier. :):) But later don`t go to mods, crying you were abused, ashole.. :):)

Also. I an not a "foreigner" Pawian. I have paid into the Polish exchequer for 28 years now.

You are a foreigner mentally. 30 years spent in Poland haven`t taught you to accept the country`s customs? You are really an expat loser like others said about you. I didn`t want to believe them because they seemed so biased, especially those Americans, but now I see they were right. :):)

So go fukk yourself.

No, thank you. :)

You and your mores are not wanted in a normal sociable world. I know what is normal. You clearly don't

hahaha that`s wonderful. Thanks.

Rich, long time no read. I thought you stopped talking to me after our last discussion. I am glad you regenerated. :):)

No, you are mad if, as a foreigner who deliberately decided to leave Poland because it sucks, you are trying to teach Poles how they should live.:):)

Yes, isolated beach. So what? Is it compulsory to say fekkin hello on the beach? There is such a tradition in the Polish mountains, but not on beaches. Stop transplanting silly English customs into Poland - saying hello on the beach. What, new świecka tradycja? :):)

Life / Everything this guy says I feel about Poland [69]

It is fekking absolutely normal in Poland. If I was there, I would also ignore some stupid bastard who spoils cudowne okoliczności przyrody/ the wonderful circumstances of nature as well as my reflexive pondering by his idiotic presence and even more idiotic hello. :):)

Besides, how should I know if he wants to borrow 5 zlotys, or have sex with me or is just crazy? :):) I`d better ignore him just in case. You must have made such an impression on them, that is why you were ignored. And on top of that, they probably got suspicious about your foreign accent. :)
