OK, so you met a Christian who happens to be a jerk.
As were all the Christians i met...
I met lots of great people in my life , none of them claimed to be Christians , although some of them may have been...The people who i met who made a point of shoving their Christianity in my face , were also among the people who , if i were stuck on a desert island with them and a pig , i would eat them , and keep the pig for company...
The ones who like to get you to say grace when they invite you for a meal , and go on about God all the time were the kind of people who i would describe as social lepers , the kind of people who would join the church , because nobody else would want them...
These people used Christanity the same way a cripple uses a stick...
I have no doubt there are some good people who are Christians , its just that i ain,t met them... Anyone who makes a point of telling me they are a Christian has already wound me up the wrong way , Religion should be a personal thing , in the same way as your sexuality is.... I have nothing whatsoever against gay people , but anyone who came up to me and said HI , i,m Paul , and i,m gay , would not impress me...
I have been a biker all my life , i think its a great lifestyle , but do i go around knocking on doors trying to persuade you to be a biker , no , you know where the bike clubs are , if you wanna join we will make you welcome , but nobody will try to talk you into it... Whats with all these Christians , Mormons and other assorted doormat vermin that come round telling me how great their god is ,and wanting me to join them..?? I know where your dam church is , if i want to join i will come to you...!!!
