You're preaching to the choir here, but you just got this one ingrained idea that marriage means morality. It does not. We do the right things because essentially we all want best for our children and our loved ones, and to live happy, well adjusted lives. It's when we start legislating morality we get into trouble.

I think it's a vent from a woman that was used, and discarded by some guy.
She tried hard to please him, did whatever he wanted her to do that she's ashamed of now, so she can only share in anonymous forums.

The fact that he was a Jew, or American, is incidental. It may have some reflection on her upbringing, but I don't see it as the main theme here.

And unless she's willing to give more details, her claims of white slavery might have been a bunch of football jocks passing some foolish girls around.

I believe that children should be raised by both mother and a father as well. Because they're both biological parents of the child.
That bond is, and rightly should be, an infinitely stronger than any marriage license. And if both parents do not have the welfare of the child in forefront, marriage is not going to fix that.

How is marriage detrimental to women?

The married women that I know, once they're married, forgo their own career ambitions, some even take it as one of the perks of not having to work. Soon after that the partnership becomes lopsided: she resents having to explain what she needs the money for, he resents the financial burden. She takes much more sht from him than she'd have to do if she had her own income, losses her self esteem and becomes insecure about re-entering the work force.

I guess you know how is marriage detrimental to men after it's over. ;)

But he is very heavy on drinking and sometimes talks rubbish and I could see he was sort of "trained" to make women his or others ( it could be the group of people ) the slaves, the victims ...

It almost sounds like he's into dominance/submission. If so, is it just a sexual game or did his switch flipped permanently?

well, he didn't have you in chains, obviously, since you got away, so he must have had some game. If you're sure it's not just your heart and pride talking and there is something illegal going on with "innocents at risk", then you have to make a decision if you're serious about doing something about it or not. If not, which you keep saying you're moving on, then let it go. Like a said, write a story. If you do want to do something about it, you need to give up more details.

I don't agree here, either. I think marriage as it stands today is detrimental to the woman while it lasts, and detrimental to a man when it's over. Generally speaking, of course.

I know that overwhelming number of women that get into that trade have problems to begin with, and I don't want to get into whole sociology of the industry, but why would law make a distinction between woman getting paid for typing but not for giving hand jobs?
