The Irish and Scottish have sasanach/sassenach, or versions of them e.g. sassy.
They are not very common though - not in Ireland anyway.
In Ireland, the term Brits is usually derogatory - which confusingly, in practice really refers to the English rather than the Welsh or Scottish.
To further confuse matters, most English people would use the term Brit about themselves, no problem, and usually quite proudly e.g. "Well, we Brits ..." etc.

But certainly not the version spoken by the majority of French/Spanish/German/Italian/Polish - whoever.
Unless they want to officially add new dialects to the language or something ; )

Can't really see what your problem is, everyone is going to have a funny accent when not speaking their native language

But you could understand him, perhaps he was saying that no one will understand you if you speak French with that accent.

It's something that really bugs me - I speak reasonable French & Spanish BUT they are so unreasonable when it comes to pronunciation - especially the French.
I'm not accusing Poles of anything (yet) as my Polish is far too basic to elicit anything other than encouragement etc - which I get - but please, have patience and don't end up like our other western European neighbours!
I have absolutely nothing against the French or Spanish by the way - one of my best friends is Spanish - but this definitely is a phenomenon in my experience.
E.g. when practicing French with a native speaker, time and time again I hear "Yes, not bad, your French is quite good - but you need to practice your accent"
Except (descending into cliché for a moment) what he actually says is:
"Yeuus, note bad, your Fronch eez quat good - bat yo need to prokteese your aksont"
And imagine the same in Spanish.
I'm sure I don't need to explain the irony : )

Wow you have a separate word for death as a person!
Don't think there is one in English - or at least if there is, it's probably pretty obscure.
For death, personified, we would usually say "The Grim Reaper" - a bit literal!

Well sorry but no! unless the meaning is really ridiculous I don't mind what it means.
Just think of even well known English bands: Radiohead, Coldplay, Snow Patrol etc - silly names really when you examine them. But I don't want the name to sound comical - it can sound strange but not crazy!

Well I simply don't believe it.
Sorry, but you probably think I'm being really petty or belligerent but it just doesn't make sense!
Main reason being, my father is 5'7" - but he is considered to be "a bit short" !
I work with the man, along with about 20 other males - everyone else is taller than him. Sometimes not by much, sometimes quite noticably, but they are all taller - and some are close to my height.
Our business clients/customers, all his friends & neighbours, his brothers, other family members - nearly all of them are taller than him.
On a daily basis a significant majority of the males I encounter are taller than 5' 7" - sure, some are shorter but again obviously some are taller than me too.
I live in the feckin' country and I see hundreds of people day in day out - I'm telling you, there is just no way that the average guy here is the height of my dad! It must be a bit more than that.

And govt stats? Hmmm. Will probably turn out that it's based on a survey from 168 years ago or something ; )

You're absolutely right, most came during the famine in the 19th century, the ones that were most affected by it the farmers. Came to America lived in the inter city, did hard labor, industrial jobs, just like later the Polish immigrants.

Big, tough, broad shouldered, tall, leathery etc. Basically the typical cliché of the indestructible & tenacious Detective O' Rourke in some cop movie or whatever.
The type isn't exactly rare in Ireland but not what you would call the norm either.

Also, snuff would have dodgy connotations (snuff movie)
