Civilization causes weakness in society and they no longer have the will to generate a high standard of living. Money is siphoned out. Decline is inevitable. Or is it? What if a civilization could break the mold? Is it possible to just keep infinitely going?

Have you noticed that places fade in and out of civilization? Countries deemed civilized today could be far less advanced 500 years from now while place that were meccas for technology and learning 3000 years ago could experience a renaissance. Medieval times come and go depending on where you are.

I still don't think I could drive into oncoming traffic like that, trusting on the good faith of other drivers. I wouldn't try to pass...at first. If I saw other people doing it and the drivers always moving over, I might get the nerve to try it then.

Europe is not a country.

Well DUH. It's considered a continent though it's connected to Asia. Eurasia is more appropriate in this case.

Also, Seanus, I commented Poles are not any more racist than others around the world and I stand by that because I know human nature all too well and since Poles are human, they are probably going to be racist to some extent. There's no group of humans on the planet that doesn't have some racists or elitists in it. Can you name one? I can't.

It's a good analysis of how people like to demonize those they fail to understand. It's not just the Palestinians, it's Arabs in general that the west takes a negative view of while Arabs tend to take a negative view of the west as well. It starts out small and grows. The winner is the one with the most might. Can we as a species ever escape this mode of thought and way of being? Probably not. If we meet species from other planets it will be the same with them. Maybe it's a law of physics?

The only thing is, you could say Zionists are oriental because their culture originated in the East and took over Europe in the form of Christianity, sort of. Christianity has a lot of Jewish thought even though it is thought of as European. The Messiah is a Jewish concept, not a European one.

Look, I am whitey and if someone dare be racist against me I will be the first to stand up and ****** about it. Whitey seems to be the only one who says no one should complain about racism but why would we cut off our noses despite our faces? We can work this to our advantage just like the rest of 'em so why don't we?

Exactly, why are they so sensitive in the first place? Is that really the natural stance of a human being? Always angered by some perceived insult?

It's a delicate balance. On the one hand, it means not having to depend on others for this type of energy, perhaps weaning a nation off crude oil and gasoline. On the other, it can make large patches of land uninhabitable and cause lakes and ponds to explode.

Hopefully, no methane will find it's way into water wells. If it does, don't smoke or light a match around any water from it.
