Beware; todays women 'feel' they have no responsibilities and are "entitled" to whatever suits them at-the-time which is always subject to change. Of great concern is the plethora of false accusations of abuse and/or rape. U.S. courts are now inundated with so many false charges that even the female attorney general of New York said, "half of all rape charges are false" and that's being generous. Here is a typical one (of thousands).

I find the Hogans Heroes type humor to be just as boring and distasteful

I found it unfair to people who suffered during the war. Kids watching Hogans Heroes grew up thinking that the war was just a lot of fun with little to no suffering. The show marginalized the trauma suffered by those who survived and by those who were killed.

Problem is; socialism doesn't care. It's an equal opportunity poison that'll ruin any country.

If Obama successfully socializes the American health care system, it will be Americans paying for Americans. If I were an Italian, I wouldn't want to be paying for hip surgery for some dude in....oh....i don't know.....Poland.

Some people in Arkansas may not want to pay for someone in California, a state which is in high debt. Some people in Montana may not want to bail out Illinois, another state in financial trouble, etc. America's 10th Amendment gives state's rights a lot of latitude. People like Obama want to take that away.

America doesn't have to....for example....bail out Canada

Isn't it interesting that men now have to do financial backflips to protect their assets from women? Women have become so much less trustworthy that even in these forums, men have come to realize that they have to protect themselves from laws and judicial systems that favor women.

It's not like the 'old days' when men actually trusted women, indeed, chivalry was paramount. Now, the modern "empowered" woman is looked upon with suspicion, and rightfully so.

Men, protect your money and give women the equality they demand. Make 'em pay for their half!

As far as alcohol consumption goes, according to the Wall Street Journal, the average for European countries puts Poland somewhere in the middle.

Noway has the lowest per capita consumption followed by Sweden while Ireland has the highest. Poland and Germany are tied and are just slightly above the average. Even Denmark and Hungary have higher average alcohol consumption rates than Poland.

All his studies were in in latin, latin was the official administrative language of Poland, he never wrote a single scientific work in polish or german languages.

Probably correct until we find some lost manuscripts. My point was this; Copernicus was an astronomer, a churchman, a physician by training, an economist, statesman, soldier, poet and even a painter. He had good knowledge of various mechanics, surveying, etc. All of this done under the Polish king, for the Polish king, by the Polish king, with the Polish king.........

As we know, the siege of Olsztyn (Allenstein) proved who he was and what side he thought himself being (on).

That was actually a pretty good and funny response from Harry.

President Obama who is 1/2 white and 1/2 black just recently filled out his census. He noted "black" when the ancestral question came up. Evidently, people are free to choose their lineage as it depends on how they "feel" about themselves.

Of course in Chopin's case, much of his music pays tribute to Poland so there is no ambiguity there.

That's a bad deal, besides, Bruckner was 75% Polish anyway and he favored slavic languages, especially Polish.

The latest info suggests that Copernicus was Polish and German but virtually all of his studies and works were Polish including his militant defense against German aggression.

That alone suggests that he thought himself as being Polish. No getting around it.

Here's a nice article praising Poland.

Multiple nations and members of those nations' worldwide diasporas have had a hand in it. And no nation on earth has struggled, suffered, and sacrificed more (yet survived) for the cause of freedom worldwide - nor been a better friend to America - than Poland.

Which is why this morning's tragic plane crash in Russia - killing Polish Pres. Lech Kaczynski, First Lady Maria Kaczynski, and at least 95 others (including Ryszard Kaczorowski, Poland's exiled president during the decades of Communism, and many top Polish military and civilian officials) - grieves us all as Americans.

After all, Poland has been with us from the beginning, literally in the saddle, fighting and dying with us from Savannah to Afghanistan.

Can't reveal the answer as it falls under the 'Ancient Polish Secrets Act" (APSC). It's a system developed by Sarmatian farmers which innoculates Poles against hunger.

During one period of time, I didn't eat for 3 weeks and gained 5 pounds.
