!! Too bad Philly is 8 hours away :(

Utica (16th) or Schenectedy NY (18th) is a tad over 4 hrs...
Toronto on the 20th if you want to visit a real foreign land!

I was born and spent most of my life in Poland, not Ireland.

I was born and spent all of my life in Canada, not Ireland, and I like it! First one (20+ years ago) wasn't that enjoyable, second one was a little better and so on and so on.... Now I got four of them sitting in my bar fridge most times, sitting peacefully and harmoniously beside the Żywiec.

ETF's are popular here in N.A. for their broad based exposure to a variety of industries at a reasonable cost. The concept being you buy one share, and each share represents a piece of the market as a whole. So if the index goes up, your share price goes up, (less fees and commissions). Is there something similar in PL? This is not to be confused with an actively managed mutual fund (where some manager picks a few stocks, thinking these stocks will beat the index?
