History / Did Polish farmer Krzysztof Azninski chop his own head off? [36]

True or False?

I was in the pub for the night and one of the Polish barmaids was chatting away to us. We were waffling onabout stupid shite we did whilst rubber drunk. During our conversation the Pole butted in with this story,

During the 90s a load of Polish lads went on the beve in some chaps house. He had a reputation for being a bit of a nancy boy. The lads got buckled drunk and then decided to play some drinking games. After a while they started lobbing bottles and other household items off each other. To prove who wasthe manliest. This kept escalating and eventually one lad whipped out a chainsaw, where her got it i dunno, and cut off a finger. Then the nancy boy goes watch this, swings the chainswaw at his neck and rips his own head off.

I was told this by a Pole, so dont attack me for bringing it up. She was adamant it was true. I dont believe it meself. I bet her a score that she was lying.

So, whats the story? Is it an urban myth or what?

Life / Multiracial Poles [154]

Sure why dont you move back to the land of your birth, South Africa?

Hows the racial love and harmony going there?

Plenty of africans, north africans, arabs, west africans there and even a few white fools thrown into the mix.

I fail to see why you left. I would have thought that would have been exactly your cup of tea?

News / Amnesty to Illegal immigrants in Poland [102]

I doubt they're buying much on the open market, so VAT will be a tiny amount.

Who, the illegals?

Correct. I enjoy the fact that I wield considerable power in my job.

How much money do you make from exploiting third world immigrants?

Life / Poland's population growth problem [44]

Anyway, where's the sense in multiplying if you don't see your kids from Monday-Friday?

A much higher standard of living for your children. Anyway, what does it matter if you're not home until seven pm. Kids should be doing their homework and sports after school so they wouldnt be free, either.

Inner city living aint pretty, when growing up. You are from Glasgow, are you not? You should know that as well as me.

Life / Poles hard working or just born lazy. [58]

I meant how is it better for ME?

Your self worth and pride in a good days labour for a far wage. Interacting with colleagues. Keeping your brain ticking over working out prices/tasks/dealing with customers etc etc.

The list is endless.

I still take a walk on the beach over the shift at Mc Donalds for the same money at any day.

Go for a walk after yer shift. The day consists of twenty four hours. People generally work shifts of four to twelve hours. Plenty of time for you to go-a-wandering.

You are being very optimistic.

Not at all. I come from a very small to medium sized business owning family. You notice a hard working intelligent worker and you try and develop him/her with training, courses, respect, promotion and with decent pay.

Otherwise you go bust. Its that simple.

Life / Poles hard working or just born lazy. [58]

I am sorry but how is it any better? It's not

Of course it is, ya creep. Pay yer own way. The taxpayer is skint.

As a unemployed person on benefit one has all that time for himself and can enjoy life full time without having to spend a third of his life in some cappy warehause or dodgy factory.

Thats called a career break. Earn yer own cash. Save up a lump sum and foook off somewhere "exotic" to "find yourself".

More importantly, stop being a leach!

A good worker wont be working too long in a "cappy warehause or dodgy factory" for too long. Eventually he/she will be given a promotion. Then another, then another.

If he/she has any intelligence.

The western worlds benefit system needs to be radically overhauled. Vast throngs of lazy immigrants being hooked up to the benefit system to live amongst home grown benefit dependants is a recipe for disaster.

Social welfare is a safety net for a lad between jobs, not a fishing net to draw in the worlds dregs.

No welfare, no need for cheap labour immigrant droids. No more "asylum seekers". No more home grown leaches. No more illegals, if stringent labour laws are enforced.

News / Amnesty to Illegal immigrants in Poland [102]

Not this garbage. Immigrants dont age, no?

They wont need pensions either, I suppose.

This sort of short sighted nonsense is why europe is up the creek as it is.

Anyway, illegals tend to be unskilled. Hence the reason they are illegal. Unskilled, dont qualify for a visa.

Importing poor people into a relatively poor country isnt a great idea.

Iam not on the dole, bud.

Its a great gig though. 10,000 euro minimum for fook all. So much so, that half the fooking world seem to be in receipt of it.

Anyway, why reward people for breaking the law?

Amnesties tend to encourage more illegal immigrants, not kerb them.

Love / First Dates with a Polish guy who grew up in France [21]

I am the awkwardest of turtles, so I couldn't flirt my way out of a paper bag, but I'll just keep, as you say, letting him know without saying anything. I'll try to resist snogging him first, I suppose.

Did it ever occur to you that this bloke might be feeling the same way?

Asking his wee Call of Duty online pals for advice, wanting to make a move but he just clams up. Trying to gain the courage to call you!

He agreed to go out with you, ergo, he likes something about you.

If you go out again, remember that.

Why am I giving you advice, I havent got laid in three weeks! Hahaha.

Life / Why are Polish people so obsessed with race? [160]

I have nothing against black people.... indigenous to the USA.

I suggest you look up the word indigenous.

I have everything against blacks from Africa that live off.

Are you an afro-American. If so lol!

USA, Canada / International Marriage (Polish guy with an American girl). Polish citizenship for her? [11]

Cant help you with the spouse visa.

Pay a visit to your nearest Polish community centre and ask them for advice.

They will fill you in.

Lawyer up too.

However, what does "a dependent of the EEA citizen" means in parcite? Is it (s)he cannot be in an EEA state him/herself, or something else?

Spouse or family member. And no, you have to be present with your non EU spouse to enter an EU state under the directive.

But, I understand your future spouse is an American citizen. So she can visit any EU member state for 90 days visa free, regardless of the directive.

Love / First Dates with a Polish guy who grew up in France [21]

Bring him out for a beer.

Buy a packet of condoms and strategically plant them somewhere in your handbag.

Go to the bathroom, leave the handbag and make sure he has a clear view of the rubbers.

Suggest going back to your place as you have a really nice bottle of wine chilling.

Job done.

USA, Canada / International Marriage (Polish guy with an American girl). Polish citizenship for her? [11]

As a Polish passport holder, your American wife will be allowed to work in Poland once she has completed the paperwork required. I don't think it will allow her to work in any other EU state.

She. Can.

The situation was clarified in 2009 when the European Court of Justice decided the Metock case.

All this is freely available on the internet.

Like pulling teeth.

Well do you knoe then by any chance if getting married gives you any privilages at all when it comes to working in the EU or not? (of course considering marring an EU citizen like myself)

Yes.

When entering the EU member state for the first time with your spouse, simply show your EU passport and marriage certificate at the airport or ferry port , upon entry. Within 3 months, register at your local Police station/Immigration centre. That's it, you're done.

Could I also get a green card once married but living in Europe?

No, spousal visa. Which cost a lot.

Could our children, considering they would be born in the US get a Polish citizenship as well?

Yes.

Whats with the username, btw? Detriot is a dump.
