It was reported on last night's evening TV news. Several residents were interviewed expressing their dispelasure at the globe-trotting mayor who is rarely at his desk to receive townsfolk. The SOB was actually in the ex-commie SLD!

City officials complain that he is rarely on the job at his office. Since he came to power 4,000 residents have abandoned the crisis-srtciken town, and the mayor's crony-style appointments have come under fire, A TV report said. A theme park under construction inherited from his predecessor has remained unfinished, and a road-imrovement progrmame has stalled. Public dissatisfaction with his rule is growing and the sum total of his shortcomings have come to be known as "the Biedroń effect".Local journalists remark that Biedroń basks in praise but loses his cool and bristles with resentment when his mistakes are exposed.

Some asked by reporters hummed and hawed when asked why they were marching. To protest! What are you protesting gaainst? Well, just in general!... Looks as thouhg many came along for the ride out of curiosity or for something to do.

Incidentally it tirns out that women in Poland are more opposed to abortion than men . Also their numebrs have increased over the past year from 61% to 63%.

The street screechers represent a fringe group of unhappy,frustrated female losers and are not typical of Polish women as a whole.

That would cover 70-80% of society, probably more. Every director of a hosptial, library, school, factory, housing coop, retail establishment, every officer above the rank fo lieutenant and most of the rest were party members and were forced to join to feed their families. Even farmers were theoretically free but in fact had to follow PZPR-imposed obligatory deliveries of produce at below-market prices, so they too were serving the regime. You certainly wouldn't considering that you feel too many competent people were involved. I repeat -- those whose activities directly harmed others and those in leadership posts who created those policies should be penalised. You keep changing your position, so one knows you're part of the KOD-POO-Petru gang. POO warned 500+ would riu'uin the budget and then proposed 500+ for all which would cause even more harm. Amnesia? Poland has never shown the political will

Poland has, but the KOR/PZPR RT clique did everything in their power to undermine it. Never confuse or equate Poland with the tin-horn politicians who have dominated the potlical stage since 1989 (with the exception of 2005-2007 and 2015-2017). There was never a popular referendum on rozliczenie reżimu. If you had been in Poland long enough you would have known that rozliczenia was one of the most widely discussed concepts in the post-1989 period. Th biggest failure of the past 27 years was the 1992 parliamentary coup that overthrew the government when it wanted to expose the full truth about the past. Wałęsa teamed up with poltiicans he know had things on their consciences they wanted to hide, toppled the Olszewski cabinet and effectively derailed the vetting procedure. Does that incldue UB/SB types skilled at pulling off fingernails with pliers or using dental drills on the interrogated party's heallthy teeth? What about people beaten up, murdered or disappearing without a trace at the hands of "unidentified assailants"? That is the scum seeking safe haven under the banners of KOD these days. No-one wnats to penalise rank-and-file party members but only the Krmelin stooges in leadership roles. Not everyone who signed something to get the red scum of their back was a collaborator. Some signed but never cotnribtued a thing or fed their SB guardians things they read in the regimist press. But, yes, there were some whose collaboration was lucrative for them but harmed others, destroyed their lives and families. Only a full, open, honest vetting procedure is able to sort out who was who. No fair, democratic system can equate vicitmisers with victims, let alone give preferential treatmetn to the former and effectively penalise the latter.

According to Eurostats data, some 44 percent of managerial posts in Poland are held by women, putting the country in second position in the EU.
Latvia was in first place with more than 50 percent women-managers.
Rounding out the top ten of 28 EU countries, and all with at least 40 percent of women-managers were Ireland, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania, France and Sweden. At the bottom of the barrel were such self-proclaimed "progressive" countries as Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium (at 22% -- half of Poland's level) as well as Italy, Cyprus and Austria. Very true. Politicians are politicians and the name of the game is getting to the trough and staying there as long as possible. But while they're there, some politicans like PiS do think a bit about their voters, ordinary citizens and shape their programme accordingly. Some of the latter will themselves eventually evolve into the next elite which hopefully will be more democratic than the salon-style PZPR/KOR/POO establishment. One thing is certain. No single elite ever rules indeifnitely as the hare-braiend "total opposition" maintians.

History should be explored, its falsehoods exposed and its full truth revealed. Sweeping things under the carpet or creating simplistic sugara-coated narrations will not change history. But what useful purpose does it serve to continue the injusitces of the past such as perpetuating the undeserved perks and privileges of the nation's post-KOR/PZPR minority who already have exploited the nation for what it was worth. Anyone who backs and defends today's losers' camp is doing precisely that and saying that 2/3 of the nation are forever doomed to languish in poverty and remain unperprivileged and disadvanatged whilst someone else enjoys all the fruits and goodies.

With Gorbachev in power and the conviciton the USSR would not invade, the PZPR gang realised they represented a tiny minority unlike the 10-million strong Solidarity and, knew how much they were hated. The PZPR conspired with soft-on-commies KOR-ites to make sure they wold not pay for their crimes and the power-craving KORites went along. The neo-Trotzkyite "dissidents" achieved the political power they sought whilst the ex-commie Katyń conspirators* took over all the basic strategic areas and....lived happily ever after at the expense of the majorit of Poles. That's how it really was. Or you can believe the prettified fairy-tale version of how the brave,noble commies peacefully gave up power for the good of Poland with no thought to their own selfish interests and dynastic future. Hopefully all that will soon change. Better late than never.

Kwaśniewski and Miller were in the Cental Committee of the PZPR. They were the equivalent of the top officials of the Nazi party in Germany. The Nazis were not allowed to rebadge themselves as for instance the German Naitonal Party of whatever, as the PZPR crowd did, by calling themselves "social democrats".

Poland did not have socialism, It was a subjugated neo.colonial Soviet satellite deprived of sovereignty and ruled from Moscow by proxy stooges such as Kwaśniewski and Miller. Now there are idiots about who would canonise the traitors if they could.

As with de-Nazificaiton, in post-war Germany, Nazi criminals were not allowed to stand for election but were put on trial. Why was there no true de-communisaiton in Poland? Becuase the victimisers made sure to cover their tracks and save their backsides. That had nothing to do with democracy. Not treating them as the cirminals they were is what proved a threat to demoracy.
