I think that liberals just can't admit it as it would require some actions and infiltration of these communities and it is uncomfortable and no PC. Also taking into account that these communities are not very helpful and are very 'sensitive' and 'touchy' about any criticism it is easier to blame some 'radical terrorists' bit like UFO came from nowhere...:-)

I don't know if it is any help but I was in similar situation.It was a bit of hassle.

We got married first in registry office in UK- I got certificate translated in Poland and registered in polish registry office. Then we had marriage in church as I remember priest even asked me for this certificate....not sure why maybe they worry that they do not have control over international marriages and someone can be already married ...

I think far left hides uncomfortable things and far right emphasise them .

Both are dangerous - by hiding bad occurrence people cannot deal with them on time but emphasising them cause intolerance, prejudice.

I don't think there is threat from 'muslim' community in Poland now but looking at west/east Europe prognosis are sad. Not so much threat from muslim communities but threat of thousands of unchecked people coming from everywhere. It is like if you opened door in your house and invited everyone from the street. It is not going to happen as we invite people who we know,or friend's friend....

There was this programme on BBC 1 -Fugitive- based on true stories. It appears that criminal British ,Polish any..... just move around in Europe to different countries escaping from prosecution so Delph picking just polish one is a bit biased and stupid.

I think that everyone is entitled to opinion ( based on personal experience, fact provided...) and different opinions can be debated. The problem is that we need good sample of facts to debate anything but some of examples here are a bit pathetic...like : .because some polish rapist/ criminal committed crime in UK ( or a few of them) it is perfectly fine and justified to let in lots unchecked emigrants to Europe....so they can do the same. I read something like this on one of threads here started by one of local 'progressives'.

I am afraid from legal point of view (as much we don't like this idea) Jon is correct. We are part of EU- if they hold German, French ,Swedish..... passport they can come and live in Poland any time.The same like Polish can move to Germany,France.....

Some probably did but I think these were emotional stupid statements.

They should be checked - and if they are chancers and economic migrants they should be detained and sent back.....But because of PC and very poor dealing with problem they are not.

Probably cultural difference but from my observation (I live abroad) it is changing for better every year and people are more relaxed and smile more.

What I find irritating is this nervous laugh every 5 minutes that some British girl do. Sign of 'social restrain and nervousness' :-)
