skichaj się one could translate as go and sneeze a lot. Nothing rude or harsh in this sentence. This is more an expression of a little disappointment (skichaj się) or disbelieve (żebyś się nie skichał). Kids say it too.

Classic Michałki come in two guises - wraparound sreberku ( are smaller ) and wrapped like chocolate candy (they are larger). For the autumn / winter Wawel gave the market a new type - white . How could I learn from the Internet , the white is not white chocolate , but only a " glaze " , but I decided to retest the Michałki castle classic and compare them to the new , white.

Hey, they contain "spirytus". This is why people love them so much !!!


Not sure about the white Michalki but in the dark Zamkowe the center is made of nuts and cocoa and fat mass with a touch of alcohol.

The white Michalki and the original Zamkowe are both with nuts. I think the difference is only that White are made with white chocolate and Zamkowe with dark. There are also Pomarańczowe and Kawowe without nuts.

There is also a possibility that the last name is Jóźkiewicz. There is no difference in pronunciation of Ó and U in Polish. They both sounds exactly the same.. Polish nationality law says that a child born to a Polish parent is a Polish citizen at birth. It doesn't matter where the child was born. Even If only one parent is Polish and the child was born outside Poland, the child is Polish citizen. If a parent doesn't want the child to be a Polish citizen, Polish citizenship for the child can be disclaimed within 3 months of the child's birth.

If you father didn't do it then you are Polish citizen already. You just need a Polish passport and most importantly PESEL (same as SIN in US)

USA, Canada / I have a Canadian and Polish passport. Travel on Polish / Canadian passport in Europe? [10]

I always travel with both my passports: Canadian and Polish. Based on my experience it is much faster to got through customs and immigration at the airport in Rome on Polish (EU) passport than on a Canadian. 5 minutes for me on Polish passport and 1 hour and half for my travel companion on a Canadian passport. You enter EU once. There is no passport control as you travel from one EU country to another.

I leave North America (sometimes from Toronto, sometimes from Buffalo or New York) on my Canadian passport but always enter EU on my Polish passport. For ticket reservation purposes i always give my Canadian passport number.

I return to US or Canada on my Canadian passport.

Also don't forget, you will get many discounts as an EU citizen in Europe vs. non-EU citizen. For e.g.. discounts on entrance fees to all main tourist attraction in Rome, etc.I believe Coliseum was half price for EU citizens.

By law all Polish citizens must have their marriage registered in Poland. To clarify, you don't need to get married in Poland, you need to register/report your marriage to obtain a marriage certificate, the same way you would register a birth of a child to get a birth certificate.
