Also never eaten alone but with a meat dish either polish sausage or polish ham.

i eat them alone all the time.. there is no need to add to their greatness. :)

Love / Can 'engaged' soon to marry Polish men say I love you to their female friend? [62]

Sort of uncool of you plk to get personal here just because you disagree with him, wouldn't you say? Doesn't sound like you...

yeah, i've been feeling like crap lately but my response was to that jack-a zimmy so it was actually appropriate but thanks sky. ;)

I can see myself sending her a Christmas card or something saying Love Always and I'm sure she would do the same but it would never go any further. I've never cheated on a woman in my entire life, I believe in honesty but don't think cherishing one's past is bad.

maybe you need to work on that.. doesn't sound healthy, especially if you were in another relationship.. let bygones be bygones.

clueless...

you don't give yourself enough credit, man. :)

Genealogy / Wilke Family [14]

the Polands' bearers of the Wilke surname are more likely to trace their ancestry to Germany, not GB.

my point was that this person may not be from poland at all..

Food / MAKE TWARóG (Polish curd cheese) AT HOME [8]

John

yeah, this is actually the way to go.. i have not been able to make twarog from anything else as pasteurised milk doesn't really curd but spoils.. you have to do other stuff to it to make it work. fresh milk curds nicely and is really the healthiest way to go here

She should also apologize for snooping around his stuff without permission. In short, both were wrong but for different reasons.

your comprehension must be null as she said he gave her the password to his email.. that implies "go ahead and read my emails" but then we already know you are slow and maybe that is the reason you are single..

boil in very salty water until they rise to the top, then fry them in butter to golden brown flipping a bunch as they tend to stick to the pan. then serve with one of the above suggested ways.. bon appetit.

News / Next 100 years - Poland as great power? [35]

Being in the middle is the best geographical location one would ever want.. Poland has a great potential to be a great power in the future but that depends on too many factors.. if the other Kaczka gets elected, then i doubt it. :)

-How can he expect himself to be taken seriously?

how does that lack sense?

F16s=great power?

it's more then that..

Language / Why x.xx$ in Poland? [20]

why do many Americans say twenty five hundred instead of two thousand five hundred?

i learned that in queen's english too.. hmm why? i dunno.. maybe it does sound like something more.. people say it both ways here but you may be right that majority like the "-hundred" thing..

Whats the reason for this weirdness?

americans are special? lol

Language / Why x.xx$ in Poland? [20]

or Dollars 25

no.. 25 dollars.. always but it's always written the other way $25..

PLN zł 3.44 zł 17.19 zł 34.38 zł 171.88 zł 343.76 zł 859.4 zł 1718.8

no.. polish currency (zł) always follows the number.. ALWAYS

Why do we write May 5th, 2010

because that's just messed up.. it's not the logical order of things..

Why do we say it's 59F outside

just different units altogether..

most of the world gets 3.8 liters?

no.. 1L or 2L.. the rest of the world doesn't split it funky way you suggest..

Why do we write 1,000.00 when most of the world writes 1000,00?

both of those are illogical, again.. 1000.00 is the correct way.. (although i have seen this 1'000.00)... unless you get into the scientific notation.. USA also uses engineering notation (every 3 spaces) that i don't recall ever seeing outside of the states.
