News / Poland's political crisis deepens [228]

Theres no crisis in Poland, jon. The only crisis occurs inside your head. You cherish democracy only if it works on your favour. Typical leftist madman.

Language / Perfective vs Imperfective - grammar [150]

@Paulina
I think it depends on the region people are from. I used the term "High Polish" not to describe some superlative form of Polish but to describe region of Poland that is called High Poland. In the west of Poland we have no dialects at all and we communicate in what i like to call "pure Polish" (hence High Polish). To me and my friends word "pomyć" doesnt look proper.

Language / Perfective vs Imperfective - grammar [150]

You can use it in such cases:
- Pomyję ...

No. You can't. It's "pozmywam" in both cases.Period. The word "trochę" implies action wont be finished.

Pozmywam trochę naczyń, a potem obejrzę film.

Lazy Husband :): - Wiadomości się zaczęły! (The news are on!)
Wife: - Zaraz przyjdę, pozmywam tylko trochę naczyń! (I'll be right there, I'll just wash some dishes!)

News / Visegrad Battle Group under the command of Poland [261]

@NoToForeigners
They used Depleted Uranium (DU) amunition in Iraq which is radioactive. The deformation among newborns in Baghdad has rose by 600% after the Desert Storm operation and others and it still happens since DU half life is 2.4 Billion years. The decision to use it was clearly a genocide yet no American decision maker got prosecuted.

There is a documentary about Depleted Uranium used by US Forces and babies born with one eye like cyclops or with noses coming out from their foreheads. Horrific sight...

News / Visegrad Battle Group under the command of Poland [261]

This is USA. Liars and world greatest terrorists. They condemn any country that tries to do anything military yet their army is freaking everywhere. Occupying lots of countries. USA wants to control the world. We should never let those fu*kers achieve that.

This is USA: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Tonkin_incident

They're killing civilians in Syria. In Iraq. In Afghanistan. They used chemical warfare in Vietnam and Korea. They used napalm in Vietnam. They're the only country that used atom against humanity. Whoever trusts them is an idiot.

Life / What don't you like about Poland or Polish People? [117]

His problem is his circumstances would make him go to Poland but he knows Poles eat ham and just laugh at religious freaks. Poor guy.... Maybe just go to UK, France or Belgium (those accept anything) . Or you have some issues with visas? Ahahaha

Study / Is Poland a good Place for quality education? [19]

We aren't racist so you'll be OK. You can be pink with purple spots and it wouldn't matter. Just remember to keep your religious insights to yourself as a Muslim. Recent history clearly shows Muslims (in general) are troublemakers and we can see that. Western Europe is like "let them in maybe they won't blow up themselves this time" but we are all about prevention.

Smart guy learns from his mistakes. The very intelligent man learns from mistakes of others (France, Germany, UK). Shamely Western Europe just doesn't learn at all.

News / 10 year prison sentence for Polish lorry driver who killed 4 people while driving and using his mobile phone [90]

@NoToForeigners
Additionally average age of car in Poland is 15 years old. Poles average amount of cars per 1000 people is very high and close to top in Europe. With it being 599 Poland beats UK, Germany or France. On the other hand only 9/1000 of those cars are brand new. This shows that the vast majority of them are old, exploited and in poor condition which all affects road safety.

Give Poles new(er) cars and proper infrastructure and you'll see the death toll is similar to what it is in the UK.

News / 10 year prison sentence for Polish lorry driver who killed 4 people while driving and using his mobile phone [90]

The accident statistics between the two countries prove you are at almost twice the risk of being killed or injured on Polish roads as opposed to the UK

Still it doesn't have to have much to do with driving skills of Polish drivers but with multitude of different things. All countries you have named in one of your previous posts (Lithuania, Croatia, etc.) have even worse road conditions while having more accidents which just proves that the environment in which the driver operates has a serious impact on the risk.

Simply... Death toll isn't a definitive measure of population's average driving skills.

@rozumiemnic
And I know what I see driving in the East Midlands. Mind you I didn't even mention reckless and mostly illegal motorcyclists (and underage) .

Polish driving is atrocious

Nonsense. I can't even count how many near misses I have seen in England by English drivers. Few of those situations make me happy I'm still alive. British drivers don't use indicating lights nor seat belts. British attitude is terrible as well. I have never been yelled at in Poland and I have never witnessed road rage. In Corby, Northamptonshire I got yelled at and forced off the crossing few times and once a driver ran over my foot simply because I was crossing and he didn't like it even when I was in the middle of road before he was even close.

USA, Canada / Poland not far behind the USA? [20]

Merged:

This is why Poland should never trust USA...

... and it's puppet states such as UK, Israel or Saudi Arabia.

"You might call it the western european policy of WW1 as military technology went on the oil standard after all, it is similar to the policy on nutmeg as a strategic resource entailed the murder of almost everyone on a spice island.

Here with oil embargoes going back to 1967 we have had a severe threat to the fuel needed for B-52's the rain bombs down on North Vietnam, Cambodia, and beyond as well as liberally spray agent orange and napalm as we wished. Then we began our never again policy"
