As they say in Engerland, "he needs a right bollocking as well"

News / POLISH CHILD ABUSING A CAT.. [74]

I just wonder why the cat wasn't defending himself ? strange ..

Because it was beaten senseless? Maybe so injured it couldn't defend itself? Maybe it got a worse beating if it did try to defend itself?

Effin shyte-hed parents even presented the poor thing back to the little puke. I couldn't watch the whole video.

News / POLISH CHILD ABUSING A CAT.. [74]

Giving a hard kick to a child would aide in his/her growth in the department of the heart?

I am not advocating laying the boots to the little puke, but if the parents were able to apply reasoned corporal punishment, (open hands to the clothed buttocks), along with an explanation why the behaviour is unacceptable, along with the lesson that actions have consequences, and that the punishment is meted out with a sad heart, and a dose of love, that would go a long way.

We need a healthy environment for a healthy growth of the body, mind and spirit.

Spare the rod and spoil the child....

It seems maybe the parents were spared the rod during their upbringing?

USA, Canada / Getting a VISA to USA by a Polish person nowadays [339]

As with every gov. one hand eats the other.

I don't claim to be a financial wizard, but with a $1.3 Trillion Budget deficit, it looks like the US is eating from more than it's own hands..... The $100 M income is but a drop in the bucket.

USA, Canada / Getting a VISA to USA by a Polish person nowadays [339]

In Poland millions of $. Probably my fellow citizens are paying for US embassies in Poland simply by making visa applications, cunning americans.

All kidding aside, I bet the cost of processing all those applications is likely about a hundred bucks. So not too much profit being made. Then if you forward all the "Profits" to the ICE department to follow up on those that overstayed, and the legal costs, and the border security costs, the profits are well and truly gone.

Love / Foreign Men and Polish Girls for Citizenship [59]

Whaddya want? A blond or a brunette? The blond has a little more mileage, but she was well maintained. The brunette was gently used only on Saturdays, and was stored in the garage, out of the elements. Not a scratch on her body, and the undercarriage is as clean as the day she left the showroom.

Life / Is Poland a place of high culture? [36]

You can't tell me that Poland won't profit from hosting the forthcoming championships.

And how many times do you hear about Olympic Games running in the red. Nothing is a sure bet.

Besides, the games are about money, as well as sport. Can't say it is culture.

Is there a ministry of sports/culture? or do they each have their own ministry?

Life / A frozen then burst pipe in Poland - what to do. [18]

Ive realised the hard way what they are and although not all followed by myself have compiled a short list in case of emergency:

I am sure you have revised your list to exclude the original step number 1:

1) Slap yourself on the head while uttering in either Polish or English *either is acceptable in such a situation...* "Fuhk mee....."

Polonia / The Netherlands: run-down districts happy with Polish immigrants [59]

the point is that Polish people outside of Poland are hard workers, they just often under value themselves

Much like any group of "outsiders", preference is often given to the locals, at the expense of equally or better qualified "outsiders". It is hard to get that first bit of "local" experience related to your field under your belt to move on to the better / higher level jobs.

I don't want to start a heated discussion here.

Why not, we all do that here from time to time.
